This house I live in is over a 100years old and there is no insullation. It gets pretty cold. We've been living here for 6 years now and occasionally, we'll smell the old musty smell of what we use to claim was "Old House Smell."
Well, my mom is going crazy because of these ladybugs. They will fall from the ceiling randomly and every time we kill some, we get more. Everyone around here has to deal with them, but because our house is so old, they have more ways to get it.
Today, we have discovered the Old House Smell. My mom was vacuuming up ladybugs and she hit the wall and noticed the thin pieces of wood move. She then got the idea to look and lo and behold, ladybugs fell out of the walls. She got ti investigating more and pulled up some of the trimming around the windows. A shower of ladybugs. Dead and alive. It makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
