    Wii U owners thread

On launch day I made a thread asking Rpg if I was the only person who had a Wii U
    and I was sadly
but now some time has passed, and I need to know, am I still alone? I'm sure somebody else here has the system by now.

And if you don't have one... has Bayonetta two, Monster Hunter, Mario, a Hd remake of Zelda Wind Waker, and countless other exclusives not convinced you?
Sorta lacking motivation at the moment.

Likes like a fun local party system (check out Node: LAN Party on youtube to see why), but nothing's really stuck out as a must-buy for me. Of what you mentioned, Bayonetta never interested me (was never big on brawlers, especially one that comes across as absurd and hypersexualized as that one), Mario is always fun but I'd have to see how it stacks up to previous games, the HD Wind Waker was supposed to come out as a preorder bonus for Twilight Princess, and I never really played Monster Hunter, so I couldn't say. I'm reluctant to buy any Nintendo system after my Gamecube and N64 and DS, simply because the other two main systems (plus, PC) have a lot more to offer somebody like me. That said, Wii U is promising, but I'd like to see how the titles line up. Give me a proper Starfox, a new Zelda, and a Smash Bros. as well as some solid mature games, and I may check it out in the future. For now, I have to fill out my PC collection.

A relative of mine owns one, and I visit fairly often.

I suppose that sort of counts.

I'm almost ashamed to say it but right now my Wii U is literally the Call of Duty machine, I was sick of paying xbox live fees so I moved my Fps habit to the Wii U
    plays really damned well actually.
but I'm mostly waiting for Monster Hunter right now, month and ahalf away =/

Wii U is gonna be bought becouse Nintendo reached out to all the big 3rd parties and Game Companies. It'll have hardcore titles AND the nintendo titles in the future. For the record, anyone complaining about Zombie U just does'nt get the zombie genre. Its up their with Walking Dead in terms of zombie survival feel.

    Aka; Nintendo is printing money.

Nintendo said they're losing money by selling the WiiU so cheap compared to how much it cost to assemble, what they say....

I'll only get a WiiU when games I'm interested come out. Right now, it's a two-player machine.

I'd define money makers by the likes of EA, Nintendo spout of games that are worth their money, so I dunno....they're more of a classy corporation? I've not known Nintendo to be fascinated with money in their reports, which is good.
