I assume that the IC won't be started until all the places have been filled? A week is a really long time, and we have A LOT of places.
I don't want to to be too short either. At least 3 days should be given, and during that time we can come up with more plot/character ideas to pass the time. The IC shouldn't get past the introductory posts before all the spots are filled.
