And now that we have pleasantries out of the way [and no I am not interested in who you are] we can continue on to the important things that matter.I’m guessing you’ve never heard of Aeth before. Aeth is the world we live in, but it isn’t really all that special. We have mediocre technology, fancy clothing and a bunch of people who are obsessed with death. And the huge infection of disgusting people. After observing your world I can say it holds a great number of similarities with your Victorian Era that took place in England except we aren’t as sexist and we have supernatural problems. Only it has been this way for a few hundred years, lucky, aren’t we?
Now while you might be gawking at the fancies that would be achieved if you were in our world I guarantee that we have far more problems than you do. Firstly, in your world the dead don’t wake up to kill you-and if they can’t make the body move then it might just be the spirit throwing knives at people. There is also a freakishly high amount of serial killers and murderers. You know, like Jack the Ripper. Did I mention voodooists, psychics and monsters? Yep, they’re there too, all though you likely won’t find the latter without looking. And then there are the Yzurian. The Yzurian are a race of people something like what your world considers demons, but they aren’t quite. They are basically better looking, longer lived, chaotic neutral beings that have special powers. The also live in a realm separate from Aeth but can travel between the two. Most humans cannot see them. Also they aren’t always chaotic neutral, but I needed a third thing to add on.
The Force of Unusually Eccentric Individuals (fine, that isn’t their name but I like it so for now I am sticking with it) Fouei is a small group of people who travel around and do things. I say things because they *cough* we seem incapable of sticking to one particular thing. We solve murders, hunt serial killers, perform exorcisms, kill the undead and prevent the most recent Yzurian villain from ruining some pathetic human’s life. Most the time we demand money for their actions. Sounds fun, right? Riiiiiight?"
This would be a small role play, it would consist of myself and four or five other players, all of whom would play a character in Fouei. It would be episodic for the most part and be largely character driven. Fouei has been around for about half a year now and all of the characters know each other fairly well, but not well enough that there isn’t more to discover. We aren’t going to spend the beginning of the role play getting to know each other; we’re going to spend it doing things. I must demand you do not bother applying for this unless you are thinking long term. And the character selection will not be first come first serve, I will decide who will become a part of Fouei based on character sheets. Any questions?
