I n t r o d u c t i o n:
P l o t:
Your character has supernatural abilities. They don't know how they came to be this way, but a certain organisation is eager to find out and control them. Your character had a normal life before they acquired their abilities, after which the organization got to know about them and kidnapped them, erasing their memories in the process. As for their past life, all their family/friends know is that they are either deceased/ran away from home/left for college/left to discover the world on their own (any plausible explanation for their disappearance that the organization cooked up).
However, despite the various medication your character is drugged with, they soon get flashes of their past life and their powers slowly come to life. If the organization find out, the process of erasing your character's memory is repeated.
So, the few who get their memories back decide to keep it a secret. They soon find that others have also been seeing visions of their past lives and they form a group, hatching a plan to escape the facility.
However, how long has it been since you were kidnapped? You do not know, and neither do your comrades. Is your family/friends even alive? There is only one way to find out...
Even if they are, how will they react? Will they accept you and hide you from the organization? Or will they be afraid of you and betray you?

Working on a CS right now. I could be your co-gm if you want, I have previous experience. Also, I just have a few questions: how many players are you thinking of accepting? And do you have idea as to where you want this to go/will you be moving it along, or are you just going to let the characters drive the story?

Eira has a huge obsession with golden jewelry and before she was kidnapped she wore A LOT of it. She is also the t-shirt and jeans type of girl. She is petite, short and a little stocky, but strong and perfectly able to hold her own.
Personality:
Eira is an extremely truthful person, even if the truth is going to hurt someone's feelings. She can't bring herself to sugarcoat the truth in any way and she never feels bad about telling someone what she really thinks about them. She knows her opinions don't really matter in the big picture so she doesn't offer her opinion unless asked. She also happens to be a little big nosey...ok, a-lotta-bit nosey and she really has to fight with herself to keep out of personal relationships involving others or a cat fight or whatever else. She comes from a small town where the gossip is the sweetest. She has a small town personality with a rebellious streak. She can make her own entertainment, load a shotgun, take a tequila shot(or four) and pass a sobriety test, she is the definition of rough and tough.
However, on the inside she is mushy, gooey, an emotional mess. She actually has some serious self worth issues and has contemplated suicide many many times. The only reason she hasn't gone through with it is because...well she's a bit of a coward when it comes to physical pain. She can handle emotional pain to the point that other people would have jumped in front of a truck, but she is a big baby when it comes to physical pain.
Short History:
Eira grew up in a small southern town. Her and her brothers were in and out of trouble every day of their lives, nothing too serious, mostly slaps on the wrists or a night in a cell to teach a lesson about not stealing your parents truck and then having to call someone to pull you out of a really big mud puddle. Not that these punishments ever worked, Eira and her three brothers were always up to something and if they weren't they were thinking of something to get up too. It was all in good fun, the siblings never did anything to put each other in mortal danger...knowingly anyway.
Eira's dad worked in a lumber mill, while her mother was a school teacher. Both of her parents were probably the poster children for marriage. They loved each other very much, raised their children and lived happily. They still live happily, her fathers retired and her mother still wipes noses at the elementary school in the small town that she grew up in. After Eira graduated high school, she left the little town and went to college in Tennessee, where she brewed up as much trouble as she could. Her classes weren't her biggest priority at college, like it ever is. She wined, dined, loved, lost and beat up ex-boyfriends before she was kidnapped. Being kidnapped her one priority was a constant thought in her mind; 'I want my memory back,'
Supernatural Abilities: Eira can bend light, rendering herself,others or objects(no bigger than a truck) close by (within twenty feet) invisible.
Weakness: Darkness and cockroaches
Other: She has a barbed wire tattoo around the bicep of her left arm. (considering tattoos weren't removed when they were kinapped...)

Alex stands at around 6 feet tall. He has a muscular and athletic body that speaks of a life filled with training and physical exercise. His skin is naturally tanned to a light brown color that stands in deep contrast to his white hair. Speaking of his hair; he wears it cut at neck lenght, with raven black highligts at the tips - this combined with his physical appearance and his clothing choice gives him somewhat of a rough appearance. His many bruises and scars all over his body certainly doesn’t help him tone down this appearance one bit. Yet despite this he also comes off as a caring and rather friendly character. He has a certain flow and calm notion to his movements, and his calm and caring ice blue eyes seem to have a depth to them that fits a much older person. When he isn’t wearing some form of test-coat he likes to wear a black leather jacket over a worn white t-shirt and a thin, dark grey, scarf (mostly to hide his collar. He wears worn out jeans that is both tight, yet lets him move freely. For shoes he seems to have a preference towards worn Converse with a high neck.
He also has a rather odd tattoo on the back of his lower neck; it is a black and white bar code, including the numbers: “05 09 91 2181”. For what reason Alex has decided to put this mark on his body is unknown as he doesn’t like to talk about it - but it does appear to be rather special to him. Personality:
While Alex’s outer appearance speaks of a dark and rude personality, he is actually quite different on the inside. Alex is a nice and caring person that likes to joke around and laugh. He is both friendly and caring, although he likes to stay for himself at times and just watch the world go by as he lets his thoughts wander. It is this ability to observe the world around him that makes him appear much more crude at times. He sees all kinds of things, and he doesn’t know when to share these observations and when not to.
As a smart person that likes to think - although he is also rather lazy at times and he does have a more sinister side to him - he often questions the situation he is in at that current time, often wondering what his place is and what he should and can do about that situation.
While this does sound like a model personality, Alex behaves much differently. He doesn’t like to think of himself as smart, instead he tries to, as he himself puts it: limit his brain, thus appearing much dumber and much more lazy than he really is. It is this persona that has lead him into various sticky situations, that has left its marks on his body. It is his form of pride that might have to do with this. See Alex doesn’t like to be seen smart (a psychological scar that has stayed with him since his primary school years where he was teased) and if you poke at him too long he might just flip and get aggressive.
While the amnesia have subdued these character traits, Alex still seem to posses them to some degree, yet he appears to be even more lazy and even less caring for the world around him. He almost seems to have given up on life in some situations. Alex doesn’t seem to dislike being “trapped” in this weird facility, in fact he seems to have accustomed himself to how his life has turned out, showing instead a rather carefree side of himself as if he doesn’t give a damn about any of it - and while he doesn’t remember much (though he does remember his name “Alex”), he does remember one thought though: ‘I (don’t) want my memory back’.
Short History:
Alex Callen, a child born into a normal family - perhaps too normal? His parents consisted of his mother, a nurse at the local clinic, and his dad, a cop. How these two came together is a tale for another time, all you need to know is that they lived in a small town too far from any major cities, but not too far away that it could be considered no man’s land. It was exactly in the middle of nowhere. This was also the case with the family; they were neither rich nor poor, a common working-class family consisting of two parents, a son and a daughter - who were 4 years younger than Alex). Alex had a fairly normal childhood, but it was apparent from the beginning that he was no normal child, he was smarter than those around his age, and his physical condition clearly set him in a different league - perhaps his abilities had already manifested themselves at this point?. While this lead to a situation where the other kids of his age looked up to him, it all changed when he entered primary school. Here this fascination turned into something much more sinister; jealousy. Alex scored top points in all classes, this lead to the first of many years of teasing. While Alex didn’t really bother at first, simply choosing to take the high road and deal with it in a mature manner - or at least as a mature manner as a primary school kid can do - this all changed when his family was ripped apart.
His dad, being a cop, had seen a lot of things; drunks, drug users, murder and speeding, but one wednesday, on a cold summers eve, turned everything else into a mere joke.
It all started out as a simple bank robbery, five robbers stormed the local bank, just at the beginning of the busiest hours, as one of the first people at the scene Alex's dad experienced it all; 3 robbers killed, one took his own life and the last was caught, but not before they could prevent the death of 14 hostages - including the life of a little girl. The father of Alex’s life was never the same again, he quit his job, started drinking and abusing his own family to take out his feelings of hate and helplessness. At first his wife tried to help him, but it didn’t take long before she left him with their daughter, leaving young Alex all alone to deal with his father. Now if Alex had been a normal kid he would properly have kept quiet and done nothing, but because Alex was the sort of person he was he started skipping school - he didn’t really learn anything there anyway, plus he was still being teased - and instead started learning the arts to defend himself. Soon he could hit back when his father got into one of his more and more common frenzies. Of course his fathers behaviour rubbed off on Alex, he started to skip school even more frequently, left the house for days and got into more and more fights. As the years passed this behaviour of his became more and more common, even after he moved out, and this was when he was abducted and placed in the facility. His family believes that he has just run away once again, but his friends are starting to ask questions...
Supernatural Abilities:
- Neuro-kinesis: Alex posses the ability to manipulate the brain, since the brain is the center of your nervous system it technically allows him to do all sorts of things, but the most he can currently get out of this ability is “illusions”.
- Enhanced Condition: it simply means that he is superior to any normal beings, be that physical or psychological and while it isn’t much by much, the scientists theorize that this could develop into what they refer to as a “super soldier” - also the reason why they are interested in finding out what makes him this way for the simple reason as to breed super soldiers. This ability also means that he can “heal” by speeding up tissue growth.
- Absorption: one of the trickier of Alex's abilities, and perhaps the one the scientists are most interested in. He is able to copy - and perhaps even steal someone's powers - for a short period of time. While a powerful ability it does posses various limitations. First off he has to actually touch a person’s skin, the longer to period, the longer the ability is copied/Stolen. If he simply touches someone for a few seconds nothing will happen. The second limitation is that while he can copy/steal someone’s abilities he cannot copy/steal their memories, thus resulting in him being a complete novice in that specific ability. Thirdly, and perhaps the most relevant limitation; he cannot yet control the ability, thus he has no control over when and where it will activate, though it is theorized that this ability can evolve.. The scientists see this ability as a way to tranfser abilities into normal beings - or even something not human - it is even theorized that this ability holds the key to spread abilities to all, but at the same time it can also be the key to destroy any form of ability, thus removing them from existence. This is pure theory and has yet to be turned into facts, bit it has caught their attention and earned him the nickname "subject zero".
Weakness:
While Alex does possess some rather powerful (in some cases) abilities, he has to be rather close to really be able to use them.
Other:
Alex was one of the first “test subjects” to enter the facility.

Appearance:
Personality: He resents most of the world because he was never able to meet his mother. He is easily annoyed by people that do "stupid" things, which basically equates to anything that he would not do. Surprisingly enough, he does like people and enjoys making new friends though. By standards of most universities in the world, he would have a PhD in both Psychology and Sociology.
Short History: He was raised by his half-brother, Sam, and his girlfriend, who were already nearly 20 when he was born. His mother died in childbirth and the father was never in the picture. Sam didn't mind as he was a kind-hearted person and raised Cal if he were his own. Sam saw the anger inside of Cal as he was growing up, though. When he was kidnapped the organization sent a letter to his brother saying he had met someone that finally made the anger subside. He told him that they were traveling the world and would one day come back, but he wouldn't be able to contact him until then.
Supernatural Abilities: Cal can control darkness in more than one sense of the word. Cal can use his ability to manipulate the shadows and his favorite trick with this is to mold the darkness into forms of creatures, such as: rats, birds, snakes, and all other things that could be creepy looking if they were made out of pure darkness. In addition to that, he can control the darkness in people's minds. He can exploit those fears or repressed memories and make people experience them for personal gain.
Weakness: Darkness doesn't work too well in the light. Strong-willed people can resist the mental angst he can cause.
Other: Organization members are told not to make conversation with Cal, otherwise he might cause them harm. Their understanding of his ability is skewed and they assume he has the ability of mind control. I want my memory back.

It was going to be a light/dark mix thing; so I just cut out the light and made myself all evilish. :3
Ooh. lol, that was kind of what I had in mind as well. :P Darkness manipulation (man, I love that ability xD). But anywhoo, I have something else up my sleeve. x)
