What is your favorite cereal and why?
I don't really have a favourite. I often don't have time for breakfast of my own, having to feed my siblings.
What is your favorite class at school and why?
I hope to do a career where I can help others, a nurse or a therapist perhaps? Science and health classes will help me achieve that so I really focus hard on those.
Which Digimon is your partner and why?
Elecmon. We're quite close, like two peas in a pod. He stands up for everything I do and this I'll always love about him.
Tell me a little bit more about yourself:
My family had been fairly well-off until recently, before falling into debt by my mother's gambling addiction. I have seen what it does and vows to never even touch those games. While my mother is out in the late hours wasting all the money away I'm usually left at home caring for my younger siblings. I wish our father was around to help, but I haven't seen him come around in years. Maybe he didn't like our mother's gambling? Who knows? Oh well, sometimes it leaves me with the feeling I have to grow up too fast. I love my siblings and would never want anything to happen to them.
It's not easy balancing school, a social life, and caring for my family. It does worry me that I find myself acting like my mother, often taking risks. I do still love and care about her regardless despite the fact I have taken over her roles around the house.

NAME: Laila Zayef
CODE NAME: Chameleon
APPEARANCE: Laila is a smaller girl standing at only 5' 4". She appears frail despite being fully nourished. She also processes hazel eyes and dark brown shoulder length hair. Physically, she displays no signs of even having a mutation.
MUTATION: Ability to blend in with any object or environment, rendering herself essentially invisible. Also, binocular vision.
HISTORY: Laila is one of the few X-Men not born with her abilities, having been taken as a test subject at a young age in her native Iraq. Being a country of constant turmoil and war the government started a top secret weapons creation program, using DNA extracted from several animal species. Laila, being a war orphan was naturally an easy candidate to be used for experimentation.
The experimentation on several other orphan lasted several months with most of the other candidates either dead or reverted to vegetative states. Just when scientists think they perfected their work Laila was next to receive the injection that would supposedly grant her animalistic abilities. After receiving this injection and mutating she eventually caught on to the real objective of this experiment. This is when she knew she had to escape. This was eventually successful(and she later learned resulted in the entire scraping of the project that created her). After years of moving around and learning to fend for herself she eventually escaped to America only to be taken captive by O.A.T.H...
SAMPLE POST: Laila wasn't sure if she was in dreamworld, but it certainly seemed preferable to reality. Whatever those men did to her was thankfully over. At least for now. Her arm felt stiff, as if they injected something into her. She started to feel uneasy. She knew what fate the others before her had suffered. Honestly, she couldn't think of a worst fate than dying in this cell. At least dying by gunfire in the streets she would know she haven't been tampered with in ways unimaginable to her. It's not like she could have known what exactly was going on, right? All she could remember was blacking out on that operating table.
"Mother, is that you?" No, of course it wasn't. Laila knew her mother was dead and this is something she accepted long ago, wiping the fresh image of her mother's face from her head. She figured it was some kind of reaction to whatever drugs the men had given her. All she could picture in her mind now was how sinister the men had looked walking up to the table with their syringes. Syringes full of the stuff that will surely kill me within hours. she thought, once again thinking of all those who had died before her. This experiment was bound to fail. Eventually those involved would pack up and scrap the project. Nature would win. Nature always wins. Laila knew that much. It would be a question of when.
She wasn't sure how much time had passed between her first time waking up and then again dozing off, but Laila now felt more aware than ever. She slowly sat up and began examining her tan coloured skin. Ok, still normal. It was at least relieving to her that her skin still appeared to be normal as she noticed many of the other corpses with protruding whiskers and even fur and scales. It was unmistakably the result of animal DNA injections. She then shuffled over to examine herself in the one mirror that occupied the wall space across from the bed. Her hazel eyes, dark brunette hair, everything still seemed intact yet something else seemed off. She could see well, almost too well. This can't be normal. She almost hoped it was just another hallucination induced by the drugs.
"Good to see you're finally awake." Laila glanced over in the direction of the voice. It appeared to be coming from the same man who seemingly injected her with...stuff. "Perhaps you're our first success. You're still alive at least. Congratulations." The man was actually congratulating her on being alive? Was it actually a shock to him too? This could only result in one conclusion: Laila had survived against all odds unlike the others. This brought a small sigh of relief until she realized this would only be the beginning of something much worse. "The one who can blend into her surroundings and see at long distances. Let's see it done...Chameleon."
Chameleon? Was this man really calling her Chameleon? Laila briefly remembered learning about Chameleons despite them not being native to her region. It was a reptile that could blend into its surroundings. This man seemed to be implying she could too. "How do I do that exactly?" Laila stared straight into the man's face and asked the inevitable question.
"Just focus and you can make it happen." Laila stood up against the closest wall and took the man's advice to heart. It was certainly worth a try to see what would happen. After what felt like at least a minute of pure focus Laila's form began to change. Her colouration was off and she began looking more and more like the wall. She lifted up her hand and realized she couldn't even make out her own body shape in contrast to the wall. She was definitely hidden. This is when she realized what was off before. Her vision was indeed very much enhanced. Compared to before when she could only see a few metres in front of her like any other normal person it now seemed like her line of vision went on forever. She started to wonder if it was only active while she was what she assumed to be camouflaged.
With virtually nothing slipping through her line of sight Laila immediately noticed the sinister look on the man's face as Laila remained hidden. He started laughing. "Our first success?" At the very mention of the word "success" Laila once again began to feel uneasy. She didn't want to just become a pawn in whatever these men were planning. She had a realization that to prevent that she would need to escape and with use of her newfound powers she felt it was something achievable.
RP: X-Men:The New Era
Name: Borwen Pengaer(yay for random name generators!)
Affiliation: Dark Brotherhood
Appearance: I know, not official TES canon, but I just liked how the face looked so ignore the rest.
Personality: I tend to be the kind of person whose characters develop as the RP progresses. I can say she's the cliche "lone wolf" type character though xD.
History: Same as above, I tend to reveal this in-game. She was born in Valenwood and trained in archery there, however.
Major Skills: Archery, sneak, alchemy
Minor Skills: One-handed(apprentice), illusion(expert), conjuration(novice), lockpicking(adept).
Weapons: Elven bow with elven arrows. She hoists both onto her back when not in use. She also has a sheathed dagger around her waist.
Armor: A unique armour set, something that looks kind of like this: http://i41.tinypic.com/29lehl3.jpg
Spells: Illusion: Frenzy, invisibility, and pacify spells. Conjuration: Basic necromancy and atromancy spells.
Miscellaneous Items: Various poisons she taints the ends of her arrows with as one of her signature killing techniques, a few healing potions, and a few lockpicks for entering those tricky spots.
Stats: She is pretty well balanced as far as stats go, just having slightly higher magicka in order to cast her spells.
Name: Jessie Hutchins
Biography: Jessie grew up in a poor family with three other siblings in the American west. At only 16 years old she was dissatisfied with her life so packed up in search of opportunities. She eventually joined the air force although she resigned after only a year of service. She made her way to Baltimore where she continued to struggle. Upon hearing about the failed Bolshevik uprising in Russia she became inspired to join in a similar movement gaining ground in America.
Name: Maria Fedorova
Weapons (If any): A pair of Makarov pistols and a knife.
Biography: Born underground in a high security bomb shelter outside Moscow, Maria saw little of the outside world until she was much older. She later cast off from her own underground community in search of a new start. She joined up with a group with similar goals and eventually started migrating west in search of new colonies.
Maria eventually became acquainted with what would become like her family for the new few years. They continued migrating and salvaging what they could from the wreckage of each old city. Upon witnessing the destruction for herself she learned that fighting wasn't a solution and only something to do as a last resort. Instead her and her companions became scavengers until she was forcibly abandoned due to disagreements on tactics. Somewhere in what used to be Poland Maria was left to fend for herself.
Name: Talya Ophir
Blood-status: Muggle-born(although she has distant relatives who were magically gifted)
Birthday: October 13th
Wand: Chestnut, 11 inches, unicorn hair

Name: Jacqueline Clive
Biography: Being somewhat of an artist, Jacqueline has always had an over-active imagination. This sparked her interest in interactive games such as Digi-Planet. Naturally she wanted the full experience so saved up money to purchase the gloves and headset. This drew her right in and she quickly became attached to her Digimon partner, treating her almost as a real life pet. This, was of course, something beyond her parents' comprehension so they became concerned about their daughter's "addiction". She denied it was an addiction and since then she has had strained relations with her parents, immersing herself in the game instead.
Aside from Digi-World some of Jacqueline's other interests include art and writing(she often likes to write about adventures her and her partner Digimon go on). Despite spending much time in the game she is a friendly and sociable person and doesn't hesitate to try to make friends.
Attacks Known: Spiral Twister, Pecking Attack, Tsuibami Attack. (Yes, all taken from the Digimon Wiki.)
Biography: Biyomon was considered a loner Digimon until she crossed paths with Jacqueline. She was considered weak, being unable to Digivolve without a tamer. One day Jacqueline joined Digi-World and came across an injured Biyomon. The young girl was desperate to help her and then Biyomon began spilling out her life story to this newcomer about how she was born weak and abandoned. It was during this time and while she was healing that they became acquainted. Naturally they also became partners and she grew in strength, leading her to finally learn how to Digivolve.

Name: Borwen Pengaer
Personality: Borwen tends to be the quiet type. While she is willing to make friends and alliances don't expect her to do much talking; she much prefers thinking and then acting. This mostly stems from her preferred ranged style of attack although she is also quite competent with blades. However, she also has a tendency to often over-estimate her abilities. This can get her into trouble while in battle.
Short Bio: Borwen was born to a pair of Bosmer parents in Riften. Due to her father's distant connections to the Thieves Guild she was left alone from a young age; her father was imprisoned for murdering a couple guards during a heist. Her mother, with a tainted family name, was too ashamed to stick around. She dropped off Borwen in the local orphanage and took off late in the night. Her current whereabouts is unknown. Due to the nature of the city of Riften, Borwen was forced from a young age to learn how to defend herself. Naturally, as a Bosmer, this came in the form of archery.
As Borwen grew older her reputation as one of Riften's top archers began to become known. It was often that she was wanted in the Thieves Guild. Despite her father's reputation as one of them she declined the offers to join and realized she preferred the warrior path she was destined for. This came in the form of a truce: as long as she left them alone then they would leave her alone. Instead she made her living hunting game and selling it.
Is your character related to a canon? If so, who?: No.
City of birth: Riften
Weaponry and Armor: Elven bow that was gifted to her as one of the family's heirlooms. Also, a steel sword. As for armour, she prefers light sets as it allows her to move around more freely. She most often wears a set of hide armour she constructed herself.
