Cliff set the marines against the wall and when he looked back, he saw a new group of marines confronting Chris and Jason. This group was substantially bigger then the last group, and this time they were armed. If it wasn't one thing it was another with this crew. He watched as Jason's monkey scampered away in the direction of the ship, and Jason assaulted another marine. This cook really new how to fight, kind of surprising but Cliff wasn't complaining. Then Chris made a charge calling out six after he struck some marines down. Apparently they were in some kind of competition for the number of marines taken down, and that peaked his interest. Gil said something about giving them a hand, and that he would help if they needed it. Cliff doubted that they would need it, or that he would help if they did, but it didn't matter. "Alright, guess I'll get in on this competition," he said drawing his pistol and pointed it towards the marines. He aimed for a fraction of a second, then fired four shots. All the shots hit their marks, one landing in a marine shoulder, followed by another striking him in the chest knocking him flat. Another struck another marine in the wrist, forcing him to drop his rifle, followed by another in the knee. "You guys mind if i get in on this competition?" he called to the other two.

A giant sweat drop formed on Jason's head as he watched Chris take down 6 guys in one blow. "Geez,you'd think a chef would know not to bite off more than he can chew. Oh well,here goes nothing ! " Jason says as tries to keep up with the swordsman. With the competition in full swing Jason wasn't about to fall behind as he begins to charge after the first guard he sees. The guard quickly pulls out his pistol as he prepares to kill Jason at point blank range. Suddenly four gunshots ring out as some cried out in pain as Jason's target falls flat on his back. Looking over his shoulder,Jason sees Cliff holding a smoking pistol asking to join in. "Sure the more the merrier I say,just keep your own count and no cheating !!!" Jason says with a competitive look in his eye. With another contestant entering the competition Jason decides to kick it up a notch as the match continues.

Meanwhile.....

Nikki races through the busy crowd as word of the fight begins to spread throughout the town as Nikki makes her way to the ship. As she makes it to the dock,she easily finds the "Tacticians Dream" as she finds the Captain. Taking a moment to catch her breath,Nikki begins to jump up and down. Chirping up a storm,she tugs on the Captain's leg and pointing at the dock in hopes she would understand.

Chris laughed at the newcomer stealing his competitors count "Well that set you back a bit didn't chef?" Chris spun around blocking the swing of a marines blade with his scythe. He looked the Marine in the eyes, shaking his head "Wrong move buddy." He said kicking the Marine back. The marine fumbled backwards into more of his allies, Chris chuckled at the pile of squirming bodies. Chris began spinning his scythe twirling it he slowly made the scythe go higher until he was twirling it horizontally over his head. Chris stopped the spinning, slamming the end of his scythe in the ground. Chris looked around the crowd of Marines that were looking at him eyes full of shock "Who here wants to challenge me? All of you? that hardly seems fair. For you." Chris pulled back on his scythe, stopping just before the breaking point of the scythe. Chris loosened his body letting the scythe send him flying through the air. Chris' scythe was firmly in his hand as he flew the air, with a grin on his face he wound up. Chris swung his scythe spinning him and hitting two marines just before he landed, Chris hit the ground backwards sliding backwards. Marines stumbled out of the as Chris slid backwards several feet. As he stopped Chris slammed the end of his scythe back into the ground and smiled and yelled back to his competitors "You guys having as much fun as i am?!"

Maytoc began to speak again, before she realized that Nikki had come up. She watched her, and then took an imprint of the monkey's mind. She filtered the differences in thinking, going down to the core of the message. She then looked to the town, listened to the commotion,a dn chuckled. "Well, I guess it is time for me to step in," she said, calmly straightening her shirt, and began slowly walking into the town.
