Not really. They'd have to consciously bend their own blood (which is basically like having to make sure you keep thinking about your heart beating or else it stops- sounds difficult, huh?), so they'd pretty much be dead if they, say, fell asleep, or even lost concentration for too long.

Plus, unless they're skilled enough to bend blood with their mind, their muscles would tire out before long. Oh, and let's not forget that most blood benders can only work their powers under a full moon.

So yeah, they sort of can... but they wouldn't be able to cheat death for very long.
