It was a peaceful day. A day like any other. There didn't seem to be any trouble. At least not on Earth anyway. It was a different story for the League who were currently away on an important mission. The thing about the day being so peaceful was in fact that it was too peaceful.

"I'm home grandpa." Michael called out as he entered just now returning home from school. "Hey Michael. How was school today?" Clark asked calmly as he flipped through the channels of the TV relaxing. "Same as everyday. Mostly boring with a hint of high school drama." He said laughing a little as he set his glasses down on a table and dropped his bookbag to the floor. Clark chuckled a bit before a news report came on.

It showed a group of men wreaking havoc and robbing people all around the Hall of Justice. The Hall itself was even beginning to take damage. "Woah... Pretty cocky to be doing stuff around the Hall." Michael said as he came beside Clark. "No... They know nobody's around to stop them since the League is away." Clark answered. "What? Wait... Woah... So..." He stopped for a second before a smirk came upon his face. "Just this once Michael. And make it quick." Clark said knowing Michael's plan. Michael nodded and was gone. He was already flying to the scene suited up. He was ready and he'd wanted a chance to do a little superheroing for a while, but he was still inexperienced. This could end up in one of two ways. His defeat, or beginner's luck.

Ray sat in the Batcave, he was brooding.. Dick- Batman hadn't let him out on a major mission in forever. Now he had been hurt by Condiment King! CONDIMENT KING for Christs sake! If he would've let Ray go with him he would've been fine. Who can't handle Condiment King? After the initial laughter, he went to brooding by the R-Cycle.

The Batcomputer went off, announcing the Rogues attacking the area around the Hall of Justice. He looked over at Batman, who was snoozing in the big chair with the cowl off. He raced for the Zeta beams, appearing inside the Hall. He raced towards the entrance, busting the doors open into the midst of the mayhem.

Richard Demearo was walking by a pair of thrift stores, half tented to 'borrow' some money.When he saw it.The Hall Of Justice was being attacked, he immediately changed into his Red Bird costume and headed off to help, although he was going to try to get the money later.

Alexander D'Cross was... well... taking a an afternoom nap in an alley, only to be awoken by the sound of destruction, seriously can't evil take a day off to let a guy take a nap? With a sigh Alex pulled on a Ski-mask and took off in hurry toward to sound of destruction.

Miranda was walking around doing what does best.. and fit with other humans, which she didnt like. "Hm." she heard people screaming and running for there lifes. Miranda looked around as she closed her eyes, turning back to normal her skin green and her red brown ish hair. Mir- Martian Girl flew up to the sky as she flew towards the hall of justice. She started to have memories about her home planet being attacked, she just wanted to end it all. Martian Girl looked at some other heroes going towards the hall of justice, her great uncle MartianMan has told her about the justice hall and what not. "Oh god.. i hope no one gets hurt."

Raven walked home from school and knew her mom and dad wasn't going to be home in a while she went to her room and and tossed her school bag next to her bed before she sat down on her bed and was about to start up some chemistry homework in her room she was having trouble with most of the problems and started to rub the back of her head wondering how to answer the questions then she put her homework down and turned on her tv to see breaking news some men were attacking the Hall of justice, Raven quickly went to her closet to suit up in her costume." Wow fits like a glove even the glove part and sorry Mrs. Smith but your Chem homework will have to wait for a while." Raven said before she climbed out of her room window. Raven pushed down her goggles and started flying to the Hall of justice.

Jaes woke up in his bed to the smell of Waffles. he rolled out of the bed and hit the floor, he pressed himself up and did about 50 press-ups before showering and heading downstairs, he entered the workshop to see John at the table. "Yay, Waffles." he said.

"Come on and eat your breakfast." said John. Jaes sat down and took a forkfull of waffles. "Hey dad... can i come out on patrol with you tonight?" he asked. John looked at him.

"Why do you even have to ask? you know that you're my partner, you can come on partol with me whenever you like." said John. "It's nice to have company, ever since Natasha set herself up independently."

"It's just... I have been thinking... i'm 17 now... most of the other heroes my age are branching out, i thought you would want me to do the same."

"Look, If you went independent, that doesn't mean we can't ever work together, look at Nightwing and Batman, they still work together... but i suppose that Nightwing's been a bit stuck for choice since the destruction of Bludhaven."

"yeah... sorry." he said. he walked around the table and hugged John.

"It's ok, James... i worry about you ya know. and anytime you want one, i would build you a Steel suit like mine." he said.

"I don't need one just yet" said James "But when i retake Apokolips, i could probably use one of those."

"Look, i want you would stop talking about that, you are not going to Apokolips. Darkseid will kill you, or worse."

"Look, i'm not going for a while... but just know that it is something i have to do."

"I know that you want to avenge your mom and all. but if you really want to avenge her, you won't commit suicide."

"Fine... but speaking of a Steel suit... could you come and have a look at something." asked James. "after breakfast." he sat back down. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." After breakfast, Jaes walked with John up to his room, Jaes moved a large bookshelf with ease to reveal a door behind it. opening the door, John saw a large metal suit of Blue, Red and Gold. he laughed a little.

"So... you were making yourself..."

"Yup, don't worry, i didn't steal anything, I'll pay you back for the parts that i borrowed." John looked it over.

"Well... it's not going to work as is." said John. "But, i think it could work... the style of the suit is..."

"I wanted it to look like Superman." said James. "So what do you think?"

"I think it suits you, if you get it up and running, i think you would take on Superman."

"Seriously though, i'm not going to use it whilst i'm with you. this is just something for afterwards. i may take it for a little spin at some point, but it's not even nearly ready for testing." said James. John looked at James and smiled

"James, I want you to make your own decisions, you don't have to build this suit just because your old man wears one."

"I know. I even know that my powers will probably be enough for most things... but this suit is going to give me the edge i need against Darkseid." said James.

"Are you sure you want to kill him?" asked John "You know how we feel about killing, and he is your father after all." James turned and looked John in the eyes.

"No... you are my father. he is just my progenitor, i needed the DNA to live and that was all." they hugged before John left. Jaes looked the suit ip and down before walking over to his other wardrobe and pulling his Boots, suit and cape out. he pulled the costume on and smiled at himself in the mirror. he walked over to his laptop and pulled up the local news "Hall of Justice under attack from unknown assailants" he then pulled up the notepad before writing "i'm in the mood for justice, be back soon." he then ran over to the window and jumped out, his boots kicking in and sending him rocketing upwards he then aimed himself towards the Hall, flying as fast as he could towards the large building.

Raven Flew to a building that over looked the hall of Justice she could see a green girl flying towards the hall and could see the rouges." Flying green girl and the rouges raiding the hall of justice, just another day in happy harbor." Raven said to herself. Raven Jumped off the roof and hovered to the ground she then walked over to a small group of 4 rouges that were about to enter the group turned around to see Raven she put her hands up and targeted two of them." Hey look why don't you guys give up to the police and you won't have to lose to a girl today." Raven said with a smile on her face. The group of rouges took out guns and cocked them Raven sighed and blasted two of them with her stinger hand blasters then she kicked one of them in the mouth knocking him out, the last rouge in the group tried to shoot raven but she dodged the shot and grabbed his arm and kneed him in the side before flipping him over her shoulder.
