Well you got my presence, I'm up for anything but 1 and 4 seem interesting
WELCOME TO THE DIGITAL WORLDSo, thanks to the mention of JerkChicken, this lovely thing has been brought to my attention. That being the case, I'd love to use this system in a Digimon RP of my own. I have a general idea for a plot, but we'll get to that later.
There are several "settings" in which the role-play could play out.
1. Similar to Frontier, the characters use Spirit Evolution to become Digimon, the only difference being that the Spirit Digimon (which don't have to be the Ten Legendary Warriors) are their own characters, with their own consciousnesses. This only requires the Digimon to have been stripped of power and reverted to spirits that need human partners to maintain power.
2. In this setting, all standard means of Digivolving from Adventure, 02, and Tamers are used, with the Tamers method allowing for a level higher than Mega.
3. Similar to setting 2, but with a boost from Digimon Spirits, another level beyond is achieved. The Spirit Digimon don't need to be used by the humans, and are only needed for the final levels of Digivolving.
4. There is one Digimon, played by me. The rest of the team consists of four or five humans, each with a special item, either a Crest, an Armor Digi-Egg, a unique Digivice code (or it's just their personality) or something with which to Digivolve said Monster, each obtaining a unique form. The unique forms will start at Champion (for which I have an idea, we can vote on the Rookie,) or rather, the unique Digivolution starts there, so we will have up to 5 Ultimates, and, depending on if crossed Digivolutions are used, a possibility of 25 Megas. In this idea, I may pick the aspects and either give them out or have players pick them. (I personally favor this idea). You can pick your Ultimate and Mega, then we can work on the other Megas later.
Okay, so here's he situation. The Continent of Terminal has been overtaken by dark forces. It is up to a small group of humans, along with pockets of rebel Digimon known collectively as Freedom Fighters, to free each territory from enemy control. The object will be taking back the continent and breaking strongholds and supply lines along the way.
So, are you up for it?
I'll get a CS in eventually, but until then, I guess certain forms/lines or whatever, and suggest which idea you like best.
Any questions: Ask. I won't be rude =)
(I have another Interest Check for this. It's a Casual RP, so that's where it is.)

Cool. Well... that's 1. I probably won't have a human character myself.
Cool.
Also, considering that Digimon are sentient entities of data, would you theoretically be able to combine certain points of data together in order to create a completely new Digimon?
Of course, it'd probably be a little(if not, very) weak/glitchy to start out with, so maybe that'd be a balancing factor?

Not sure what you're saying there. Custom Digimon are allowed, I may discard the use of dice in favor of rankings.
He's asking if there's a possibility with making a broken digimon with the game rules/mechanics being used/
Which is no, as the rules being based of what is called FATE are very rules light and simple. Since it's focus is being on fluffy storytelling play with the mechanical bits being there for conflict resolution and adding some tension to dramatic moments with the dice rolling element

Good answer.
Anyway my vote is to keep the dice bits as I like the chance elements being there to make things interesting, and getting people to do rolls with this isn't something difficult.
However if you're looking to minimize rolling, then keep it restrained to the fights or when the element of uncertainty would add to the action being done, which is basically how FATE is aimed at being played.

Not really sure... I'll likely remove it. We'll know at the OOC.
Not sure of what?
My complaint with removing the rolls is that while it can work that way. It already cuts away from what is a small set of mechanics, and more importantly relying on number size reduces the stuff fairly binary results whereas the dice add that uncertainty of where you can overcome something really tough or comical failure
