He naturally radiates an immense signature of magical energy, though not out of his own choice. If a normal mage were to be described as a rechargeable battery, it’d be apt to say Saier is something of a generator. The difference in potential energy is immense and to many, an insurmountable wall. It allows him to pull on magics other could only dream of, but is a very dangerous gift. It is downright impossible to hide his presence from those attuned to magic and often attracts beasts and other creatures that would thirst for a chance to taste his magic.
He also requires immense willpower to control the energy properly. A minimum of an hour of uninterrupted meditation a day allows for Saier to not only reign in the power he wields, but allows for him to discharge excess energy into his surroundings without completely destroying them.
When he brings full power out to bear, Saier changes into something inhuman. Energy seeps through every pore on his body and wraps around him, creating a being of energy. The form allows for him to use every ounce of energy he generates, but at the same time it also renders him vulnerable to magical assault, as his physical body barely exists, leaving little buffer against damage. Like an engine being pushed over its limits, the form wears and tears away at his capabilities as a mage, weakening him with every second he spends utilizing his potential.
