I primarily write scifi RPs as I work on my scifi multiverse, though I'm always looking to join a good RP regardless of the genre. I've been roleplaying online for about 12 years now and invest the vast majority of my waking hours into building lore for my scifi project. My primary interests are networking with scifi writers and illustrators as well as enjoying the plethora of RPs based here.

If you have any questions about how things are done around here just ask, plenty of helpful people around to answer. I've RP'd extensively for over a decade but its always nice to refresh one's memory after a long break from extensive writing.
I'm checking out your shop right now, your work is very nice. I was looking around for someone who could help me with Scifi-related graphics, perhaps a banner for my up and coming scifi RP. Do you have any experience with something more akin to schematics and machinery? Or cartography?

I don't have any experience with that unfortunately. This shop does cartography and this one is run by a very talented graphics person who might have a better grasp of such things than I do. If you have an existing image I can alter it, but my skills are self taught and limited and my knowledge in the areas you are after is minimal.

Its highly complex and I'm not sure what I can share without spoiling the living hell out of everything, heh. Its a complex multiverse with alternate timelines, travel between universes, monstrous godlike beings that fit the role of daemons and dimensional horrors, and so forth. My RP multiverse is comparable to the universe inhabited by the Imperium of Man in Warhammer 40K: A pseudo-dimension of mystical/psychic energy that influences a physical universe where mankind is at the bottom of the foodchain, though I go into far more detail of the mechanics behind such concepts while trying to maintain a level of realism. Not only that but I go the opposite route and make Humanity fractured and incapable of uniting as a singular galactic force, ensuring plenty of insular factions and complex dynamics between human societies vying for control of the galactic goldmine that is the Large Magellanic Cloud, a distant galaxy that is home to some very interesting physics and anomalies.
Suffice to say Humanity has roots among the stars themselves, a little-known fact that flies in the face of everything mankind has been taught in modern times yet echoes the myths of old. In truth the foundation of Humanity was forged long before life had taken hold of Earth's emerald oceans... (our oceans were once green due to the presence of an immense level of green cyanobacteria as well as iron content that formed a rare iron mineral called green rust at a much earlier point in our planet's history. The presence of high iron levels allowed certain microbial lifeforms to flourish and the presence of these cyanobacteria, such as blue-green algae, terraformed Earth by mass-producing oxygen and nearly bringing all life on Earth to extinction. Interesting little-known tidbit.)
Hmm, what can I say without ruining parts of the storyline... alright. Humanity are but one of countless sentient species that roam the Great Expanse. We are among the youngest and least experienced, our technological level just barely above space-age. We have limited cybernetics, space-faring vessels under human command are incapable of leaving the solar system with any hope of a safe return, and the vat-grown gene-modded human beings on our colonies have a fragmented notion of what life was life for Earthborn humans, relying on meager historical accounts found in literature and audiovisual media. Humanity finds itself battling to survive in an unknown galaxy, clinging to the hope that Earth will come to their rescue. Altarax is the most advanced of the newborn colonies and the first to send out ships to contact its brethren. What they find is a hostile galaxy replete with strange anomalies, unknown elements, and xenobiological lifeforms wholly alien to our species.
When we venture into the galaxy we discover a strange prophecy etched in the name of those we call the Precursors, a humanoid species who seeded the Milky Way with the roots of Humanity. The less mindless lifeforms of the LMC tend to fear, despise, or worship Humanity as the chosen sons of the Precursors destined to re-establish the Precursor Creed. In truth, Humanity has absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Other facets of my lore are the Primordials and the realm of Primordium, a metaphysical realm akin to the Warp that governs the physical simulation of Space-Time in which we reside, a few hundred different sentient alien species, a dozen of so extremely advanced hostiles who play a big part in the storyline, and a convoluted spoiler-ridden secret storyline that ties Humanity to its roots and far beyond, revealing a forsaken legacy echoed by our ancestors that modern Man has long forgotten. Essentially, Hyperion: Unlimited is the rediscovery of Humanity´s lost potential, its stellar roots, and the first leg of a lengthy conflict that will decide the fate not of this galaxy, no, not of the universe alone, but of an entire Multiverse.
Oh, and did I mention Voidwalkers: unique beings rising from sentience with the innate power to manipulate the physics that govern our universe in a controlled manner, essentially pushing and pulling at the fiber of our reality through an amalgamation of technology, psychic power, and what savages might call magic but the Ascended know as Science.
Eh, we'll get there eventually.I decided to start this RP off early, unlike my to-be-publish Scifi series itself which leaves us smackdab in the middle of an intergalactic war at the hands of beings comparable to Slaanesh, the God-Emperor, and Khorne.
