Albion was an orphan raised in a small rural town in England, and having moved away at 19. He has made friends both at the Institute, and in his life outside of Albion. He is very protective of them, and hides his identity in order to keep them safe. He does this by wearing baggy, bookish clothing to disguise himself when not performing hero work.
Albion feels a responsibility to do good and to protect others due having his amazing powers. He can take the hits, so that noone else will ever have to. When he was a young boy living on in England, he and his friend, Mark, came across a cave whilst out playing in the countryside. Deep inside was the mysterious hilt of a sword, buried deep in the rocky ground. Arthur felt somehow drawn to it, but Mark selfishly pushed him aside to try and pry the sword from the earth himself. He pulled at it, kicked it, tried to wrench it free from the ground but to no avail. However, the sword came free with ease for Arthur, as if it deemed him worthy of its power. The sword then vanished, leaving Arthur with amazing superpowers. The feeling that he was chosen specifically makes Albion feel like it is his duty to use his powers for good.
