Glad also and a little aroused
Should we decide which segment of the Westeros map to locate our House? Here's a map of the continent and regions within to aid newcomers to the series:

My vote would go to either the Iron Islands or the Blackwater Bay area but I'm happy for anywhere.

He who threw seeds to the wind would make the sky blossom.
Well, the Realm your house is located in is another thing that can be randomly determined via dice roll; in the current roll, you guys would be in the North. But if everyone's against that I can re-roll, or you can just decide a region amongst yourselves.
Up to you guys really. For something with no mechanical importance, the number of tables in this rulebook dedicated to how many coloured lines are on a shield is frankly staggering. I am not kidding when I say that these tables for randomly rolling that shit up cover more than two and a half pages of the book and frankly I aint bothering with that shit.
I'm nearly done with the OOC thread, which is where I'll put my final line up for the house. By the way, one thing I got will require player input: pick two of the following to recieve a bonus. Lands, Influence, Wealth, Law, Population, Defense, Power.

Wait I said I'd join the casual one but are we doing it advanced now?
Thanks to Lillian, the queen of thorns for making this. (If you understand the joke I applaud you)
I advertised it in Casual and Advanced since I wasn't sure which it would end up being, but the strongest response so far seems to be advanced... so come over here! :P Don't worry, nothing's really different from the Casual IC
Okay well I'd like to point out that I am a huge fan of this series. I have spent countless hours reading it and sitting on wiki's getting info so I'd love to play like the first or second son because I believe I can handle the political aspect of things. As well as you said we rolled to be in the north, I think it would make most sense if we had lands and power due to how large the north is.

Law is basically how well protected your lands are from things like robbers and bandits. Low law means crime is out of control, while high Law means crime rates are low.
@Dredigan: Sounds good! I'm just doing the final sums that'll give you a rough outline of your House. I'll chip in now and then, but since I really want House creation to be player-driven, don't take my word as law or anything, okay?
