IC: To Become One

STORY

You live in the land of Doma, a modern place not too dissimilar from our own world. However, in this land, humans are sometimes born with incredible supernatural powers, rumored to be gifts from a great, mysterious entity known as the Totus.

When an individual discovers their powers, they are considered the property of the government, and are immediately taken to be trained in order to serve the greater good. Of course, not all comply willingly, and not all can be made to comply. Among the powered and some sympathizers, there is a strong sentiment of resistance.

Government detractors are beginning to organize. Crime is on the rise and people are disappearing. It seems as though conflict is inevitable.

RULES

1. Before joining, please consider if you'll be available often enough that the RP can progress. If not, you may want to reconsider, otherwise it will be a headache for both you and me.

2. If at some point you will be unavailable for a time, please give us some warning beforehand.

3. When you're done RP'ing for the day, please "sign off" in the OOC to avoid confusion. (Just something simple, like "Alright guys, goodnight.")

4. Spelling and grammar are important. You don't have to be perfect, but please use what you learned in school.

5. Mature language and themes are okay, but be mature about them, and use them in moderation.

6. No immortality, unless you have a pseudo-immortality in mind, in which case you should consult with me.

7. If at any point you have a question or need assistance, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask for assistance in the OOC.

Bio: As a child, he was taught at a prestigious school to learn how to become a servant for the higher class. Khora has been working for the hideyori family since he was 15, tending to the will of his master Shuya Hideyori. His place of birth and his family are both unknown, but he considers Shuya to be like a younger brother to him.
Other:Khora is calm and quiet for the most part. He usually doesnt speak unless spoken to, unless he feels he or his master are being threatened. While he doesnt share his masters love for world domination, he wouldnt dare go against his will. He carries around crystals that he creates himself in order to open portals for a limited time and only have a 1 time use.

Bio: April was born in a small town to a shopkeeper and a gardener. She’s had an affinity for plants since she was young, and could often be found planting flowers in the garden or playing at the park with her friends. Her powers weren't discovered until she was fifteen, in which she accidentally weaponizied some plants when her friend scared her for a prank. Luckily they stopped attacking once April realized who it was, but since then both her and her parents had to try and keep her powers hidden. They did well for a couple of years, bribing her friend to keep the accident a secret, but eventually the friend’s parents found out. They immediately reported her and she was taken away.
