X-men: Hunted

In the year 2016, All hell broke loose. The Anti-Mutant campaigns got a upswing, and the harassment of the mutants became an everyday thing. First, the mutants were just bullied in the streets, then it got really violent. By the middle of 2018, a full-scale war broke out. A war so fearsome that something like it had not been seen since the World Wars. Although this war, on official records, was stated to have ended in the battle of Denver, it is far from over. The war yet rages on.

The world has been taken apart, the United States are still fighting their war on the Mutants, allying with several of the United Nations. It's Chaos all over the globe. The United Offensive ( As the new Government calls itself) have pushed down most civil-rights for mutants and sympathisers alike, you can't speak up against them, or you'll be put in prison, or worse. The Xavier's institute for extraordinary youngsters have been destroyed, and most of the X-men have been killed. The Fantastic Four have vanished, Spider-Man was publically executed, as a warning off to all mutants and sympathisers alike, the Avengers have scattered, Thor returning to Asgard, Bruce Banner being captured, Captain America have been frozen again and Tony Stark has been put in a maximum-security prison, and his suits either destroyed or hidden away, the actual case is not known.

Most mutants live in fear now, they know that if they show their powers, they'd get killed by the various soldiers roaming the streets. There are several groups of mutants whom are working against the government, some have given up hope, and some are still trying to come to a settling with the humans, with mostly negative results.

The X-men are destroyed. The institute has been laid to ruins, and the professor was executed. The team was either captured or killed. The few of them that actually did survive? They're still trying to win this war... I'm still fighting the good fight, though we'd need a miracle to win.

You have a choice. Either, you can hide your identity, hide your gifts, live a life in terror and go against all the things a great man once envisioned for our kind, nay, for everyone. You know that they will find you one day, you will slip-up and lose control, and they will put you down like a sick dog.

Or you can choose to fight, even when the odds are against you, we are outmanned, and we are outgunned. And most likely, it will end sad, and it will end bloody. But you can always rest assured that you will go down swinging, that you tried your best to fight for your right to live equally to those not born with our gifts.

You can choose to be a coward.

Or you can choose to join the X-men.

I'd really rather not have this. However, you "may" be allowed to multi-char as part of the M.H.S, which aren't mutants, but SuperSoldiers.
