I'll check out that list, although, really, it just seems to be for that kind of people that lack any sort of passion in writing, but just want to give it a go to see if they're any good. But I will. ^^
And now I have a question to follow your point on making the reader feel less like the story of my world is just starting. Leaving the theoretical part aside, how exactly am I supposed to be writing in that manner, to make the story look like that? I mean, I understand the whole "what you're supposed to do" thing in all of those posts but my problem is really just that I don't know how to write all of those things. I can't just go ahead and write "This is the story of a planetary system pursuing its existence in a corner of the universe. But, as a matter of fact, this story is not just starting now. This solar empire has been brought to life a bazillion of ages ago, when the Adrasteans first started breeding out of nothing.", can I? This is so frustrating. I know what to do but I just don't know how.
I'm sorry if I haven't been expressing my question that properly or if I've been branching away from the subject too much x_x I tend to, sometimes.
