Biography~
Carina was born princess of Jelesin. Her life seemed bright until her mother died. Carina’s father blinded by sadness and anger couldn’t even look at Carina. When he saw Carina he saw his dead wife dying all over again. Carina’s father sent her away to the uncharted lands. An old nomad spoke of an uninhabited crumbled castle. The father decided to leave her to her own devices. A group of knights lead Carina to the tower, and they told her “ This castle is yours now. Your father believes you ready for this responsibility. Maybe one day when you are old someone will come back for you to judge what you have made of yourself”.
Carina was edged closer to the strong wooden door with the intent for her to go inside. Carina pulled on the door roughly allowing it open. She slid in only to be met with cobwebs, and the remnants of a long forgotten reign. Being only sixteen Carina was overwhelmed. She couldn’t tell what she was feeling. It all felt like beautiful disaster. She rushed outside on the verge of tears to find herself alone. She returned to her “castle” broken, and also completely whole. With sniffles and shuffling feet Carina entered a room she believed to be an old dance hall. A giant dragon lay sleeping before her.
Carina didn’t know what to do, and she broke down in tears. Maybe it was the obvious rejection this girl had just suffered or how tired the dragon was, but he left her to her own devices. After hours of sniffling the dragon finally grumbled in annoyance. Carina thought she understood. He was sleeping , and she was a simple squeaking mouse. Carina stiffened up her lip. She walked as strong s she could muster past the dragon to a tall flight of stairs. Where she found what would later be known as her part of the castle.
Carina grew in the next few years. As days passed when the dragon slept Carina would wonder about the castle, but she would never go past the great dance hall. Soon knights started to come for Carina. The monster Carina shared her castle with easily destroyed them. Maybe, it was as much of Carina hiding, as it was the dragon keeping her there. After five years Carina had almost become one of the dragons many treasures. She kept him busy on the days he would have killed himself of boredom. Knights stopped coming for Carina. Then Carina became her own knight. She would tie any fabric she found together, and try to lower herself down from the lowest part of the castle. Only to be caught by the dragon and locked into her room. She tried sneaking past the dragon only to get a slight burn from one of his flames. She tried climbing down only to be caught again. At this moment Carina has almost but given up.
