It was nearly done. Only one more piece needed to be put in place, and then his plan would be perfect. Oh, people would be laughing for ages, well, he would be laughing for ages, at least. All that would be needed was for him to take the last little wire, connect it to the power source of the tree, and then the trap would spring to life, zapping them with a playful jolt of powerful electricity. He laughed mischievously as he moved towards his main metal tree. The trees in this world were known for not only producing oxygen, but also producing electricity through the roots and sending it towards some other trees as a power source. Humans tried to take that power from the Techno-Sprites' forest for ages. Oh, how Torrentias hated those humans.
This trap was specifically designed to send those humans away for good. It was just about to be put into place...
When suddenly he was floating in bright daylight, the shade of the trees disappearing from around him. He glanced around quickly, confused as to what the hell was going on. When it finally dawned on him that he wasn't home anymore. There wasn't a Metal Tree in sight, and the bright sunlight was not something that he was used to see. It wasn't bad, necessarily.
The worst part was how his prank had nearly been built successfully.
"NO! No... Not now... Damn it damn it DAMN IT!" He yelled in sort of a temper tantrum as waves of blue lighting surged through his body with each repetition. His cannon fired a blast at the ground, blowing a small crater in it and igniting the nearby plants. "It was almost finished! Just a few more seconds and it would have been the funniest thing in history! But... Ugghhhh! Damn it all!"
He spun away from the crater he had caused and, in doing so, he noticed a figure in the distance, collapsed in a bed of flowers. Torrentias' eyes narrowed when he spotted him.
It was a human. Of that, Torrentias was sure. He must of been the one who took him out of the forest! That stupid human used some of his wacky magical mayhem to take him away from his home and ruin the prank he had in store. Fueled with anger, the pipes connecting his arm cannon to his body started to glow an electric blue colour as the cannon hummed to life. Then, at a breakneck speed, he shot of towards the human, hovering across the ground as he did so, and stopping right in front of the human, floating above his head.
"It was YOU, wasn't IT!?" Torrentias accused, aiming his cannon directly at the boy's face. "I have half a mind to Blow you to pieces RIGHT NOW! EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"
