Many years after the events surrounding Mr. Frodo's adventure the Dwarfs have returned to power, Elves for the most part have left, and the kingdom of man kind is spreading rapidly. The land for the most part has been prosperous and peaceful for nearly a hundred years but that peace would not last. Humans are hungry for power and have claimed lands that were left by the Orcs and b the Elves. Their armies grow large and their populous plentiful, even parts of the Shire now have human settlements.

War has broken out, not all of the human kings have the same beliefs and some believe in alliances and pacts while others believe that they are the dominant race and can lay claim to whatever land their sword could take. Dwarf kings have for the most part kept to themselves but as of late King Nicholas, one of the most powerful and ruthless of human kings, has demanded payment to prevent war. Elves who have begun to return have found their land torn apart and built over. Hobbits, a normally peaceful group of people have even had minor talks of taking action against the king for taking their land.

War is not the only plague that burdens the inhabitants of Middle Earth. Disease spreads and the forces of nature have begun to wreck havoc. When the trees began to be torn from the ground and mountains blown apart for the minerals inside guardians began to show. Powerful entities began to protect what was left and try to force those who had taken too much land to leave. King Nicholas paid no mind. These titans just encouraged him to train more troops.

These events would prove to be things that could be solved with the right leadership and proper guidance under normal circumstances but these were not normal circumstances. The Elves had returned, but not by choice. They were being followed by a dark and powerful force. One that would prove to be even more of a threat than Sauron.

So people of rpg we will be going on an adventure and like any good adventure of the Tolkein Universe we will have a bunch of unexpected heroes. I'd like to stick with tradition of a couple of each race, Elves, Humans, Dwarfs, Hobbits, and a wizard or two. So let's get to the details of each race...

Dwarfs: Powerful warriors who can rage and carry heavy armor and weapons. Their race is doing rather well but is still burdened by the years they went without their kingdoms.

Humans: The best all round in combat, their race tends to be the most advanced in technology (as far as tech goes in Middle Earth) and have a way of spreading across the land rather quickly.

Elves: Great with bows and they live long lives. They have the benefit of living long enough to learn many things but their pride tends to get them in trouble.

Hobbits: Peaceful bunch of lads and ladies who want no more than peace and to be left alone. Though as fate may have it they are the ones who are tasked with doing the impossible. They are quiet on their feet and small so they can get in places others can not.

Details arn't certain because what fun is an rp if everything is laid out for you? But expect to be on a mixed adventure of fighting the darkness and dealing with the Tyrant King Nicholas.

I'm relatively new to the world of Middle Earth. I watched the LoTR as a kid but I didn't retain many details on locations and such. I've watched The Hobbit recently but that's about as far as my knowledge goes. If anyone knows more about the land and its people and are interested in this rp I would love to work with you to make this a good adventure worthy of the books.

Hey Mast, I think Story meant to write up a bio of your own making not that of something out of a wikia. Just saying dude.

And give me abit, this remains unfinished. I can come up with a decent bio, it's just really late and I have no drive to write one.

I'm actually using a canon character. I'll still have to give him a reason to go back west, but for now I think what the wiki says is enough until I can come up with the last bit.

They both look good. So Linx if you come up with a reason for why they came back West and perhaps what happened in the East that caused him not to return I'll count that as bio (and thus an item) BTW the staff wouldn't count as a special item no worries. Wizards need those

Mast i am sorry to disappoint you but the Alatar the blue is dead, he was killed or rather tainted by Khamul the secound in row leader of the Nazgulz or rather...well brough to another stage of existence like Saruman or Gandalf. See Scharka the weakend Saruman or the ...well boost up? From Gandalf the grey to Gandalf the white.
It depends if they still have remaining obstacels as what they return, as you can see Gandalf had still to reveal the real king of Gondor (Like he says in the end of triology) and some others too.
I mean look at Radagast, Radagast always stays as Radagast the brown because his simple obstacle is to help animals, he sure was heavily injuried but always came back to his original form as the brown wizard. And sure he had to face injuries which would have killed many but he came back. Like he also survived the sting of the Spider queen in Dol Guldur.

Anyways Ardpedia is nice and so on but they also only use the books written by Tolkien, not the later revealed from his son or the "fan"-books which also reveal more about Tom Bombadil, Kahnd, Rhun etc., they are legit to me.

Oh and i just wanted to claim my interrest here^^

I only go by what Tolkien himself wrote. And he never did actually pronounce Alatar dead.
