Seth took off his apron and folded it up, clocking out at work as he smiled and waved everyone goodbye. He walked outside and got his car keys out of his pocket, rummaging through them to get the right key. He stuck the key in the key hole and unlocked his car, getting in the drivers seat and closing the door. After a few short breaths, he turned the key in the ignition, put his seat belt on and adjusted his mirror before backing out of the parking space, putting his car in drive now and zooming into the turning lane. He looked to see if anything was coming before getting on the paved highway. His eyes cut towards two huge black SUVs, following him. He rose a brow then slammed on brakes, the SUVs going ahead of him. 'Whew.' Went through his lips as a strange man came up to his window, which made him jump. "Hey, can you spare some change?" Seth shook his head no as the man lowered his head and walked away, allowing him to pass on through.
Seth drove up to his home, parking the car in the driveway, getting out and locking the car with the click of a simple button. Seth walked right on into his home, throwing his keys on the nearby counter and walking upstairs. He was in his room, taking off his uniform, next thing he knew he heard a loud explosion. He ran towards the noise and saw that his door had been blown off the hinges and three people walked in. "He's upstairs." One of them said as he ran back to his room, getting a gun, making sure it was loaded.
When his room door opened, he fired shots but the male stopped them in mid-air. At that point, Seth knew that he was a Mover and the female was a Watcher, but the other one, with the shades was mysterious. The other male took off his shades with a smirk then opened up his mouth, screaming at the top of his lungs. He was a Bleeder. Seth eventually fell to the floor, covering his ears, trying to cover up the Bleeder's screams. He was soon knocked out but felt his body being hoisted up and thrown around.
Seth woke up in a room, along with other people as he looked and saw monitors, things injected into his arms. He was scared, but tried his best not to show it. He sat up in his bed and let out a slight huff, looking around the white room, wondering who these other people are.
Candice stood at the podium, smiling as cameras flashed. She moved her lips to speak but people were still filing in the tight space. "Okay everyone..." She said while still smiling, her lips stained with red lipstick, her teeth pearly white. Even though she was only twenty years of age, she was still a business person, well now she was after being offered a deal. "I first would like to be the first to cordially invite you to the Art Gallery of mines." She outstretched her arms towards the small building behind her before turning back to the audience, who had given her a brief applause. "I have been dreaming about this since I was five years of age. And now..." She stepped away from the podium and took a pair of gigantic scissors. "That dream becomes a reality." She cut the ribbon and posed for a picture as she then stepped to the side, allowing people to now walk in.
She looked towards two people, who were staring right back at her, the whole entire time. That smile went away from a moment then heard her name being called, her raven locks flowing down to her back as she turned heel. "Yes?" She questioned while looking back, those two people still looking at her, whispering to one another. "I'll get the shipments in order momentarily." She said with a smile.
Her heels clicked a little bit against the title floor. She walked to the two people and spoke with a soft sigh escaping over her lips. "Look, I know how this ends..." She turned back to look at her Art Gallery then back towards the two people. "Just take me away." She nodded while walking past them and into their vehicle. "Oh, should I pretend to be knocked out?" With that said, she felt a slight bump against her head and her body fell over.
When she woke up, she was in a strange white room, looking around, seeing a male already up. She yelped and laid back down, hoping the male didn't see that she was awake. She closed her eyes as if she was still asleep.
