    Zombie rp, but not like the regular zombie situation (more details inside)

    So, zombies, we know and love them, platonically because loving a corpse is necrophilia (you sickos know who I'm talking about). So, we always see the scenario of humans surviving a zombie apocalypse and all of that boring shit. I say boring because lets face it, after resident evil, walking dead, and other well known series in the mainstream media, this has become a played out concept, so it's time to revitalize the genre. So, lets go on a point by point basis of what this rp covers.

    1. It's not an apocalypse. Humans aren't on the run from zombies, in fact they have won the "war" and have limited zombies to several major areas known and "Z-Parks." In these Z-Parks, thousands to millions zombies, depending on the size of the park, humans keep them locked inside and weed them out over time. They send small teams of hunters inside to kill the zombies, and/or study them in captivity.

    2. The zombies aren't brainless. They are actually intelligent. The zombie virus is not something that reanimates a corpse and only activates the primal instincts within the body in this rp. Instead, it's a kick start for the body, reanimating bodies on the edge of death, and taking them over like a parasite controlling its host's body. They can speak, interact, and have a will to survive, and they can eat anything, but human "zombies" have weak spot for human flesh.

    3. Not just human zombies. This is a parasite that can reanimate any animal being, meaning that dogs, cats, gorillas, and any animal can be taken over. The cannibal aspect isn't situated only to humans, but they don't just eat their own kind. Anything not controlled by another parasite, is viable prey for parasites. These parasites also raise the intelligence of animals to human levels, so a dog infected is actually capable of human speech.

    4. We are the zombies. Yep, instead of playing the humans, we are playing the infected "zombies" so, yeah. Remember the last part of my previous point, any animal can be infected, so you don't just have to be a human "zombie" but dogs, cats, birds, etc.

    So this is really more of a concept than anything else. If I can get interest for it, then I'll actually develop a plot for our characters, probably something along the lines of our characters wanting to escape a z-park and then surviving in the real world etc.

    Also, my first rp idea that I've made in a few months and my first time back on rpg in a few weeks, so please forgive me if this isn't that great. it's my first shot after awhile, if that counts for anything

    This looks like a lovely concept! I especially like the idea of playing the zombies, as I enjoy playing undead characters in various settings. I'm assuming that this will be using a modern-day/near future setting, but please correct me if I'm wrong, and if you decide to open this RP I would certainly be interested in taking part!

    Alright that's two people interested, if I can get two or three more into it then I think we'd have enough to start. So tell your friends to join.

    @kayleigh - This is a near future setting, between 2015 - 2020's.

    @Kanoashi - Glad I could get your love for the idea, so tell others to get this going.
