Medeival Fantasy Interest Check - Intense Plotlines, Deep Character Development

I am very new to this forum, but I have had this idea rolling around in my brain for a little while now. It still needs a lot of fleshing out, but I'm posting the basics now just to see how much, if any, interest it will garner. And so, without further ado... here is what I've got so far:

The setting is a medieval fantasy type of world with 5 separate Kingdoms. Names can come later... but the most powerful Kingdom has sent a messenger to the most dangerous kingdom when war is looming between them. The Kings and Queens of both Kingdoms want to make peace. In order to do this, they decide to marry the princess of the war kingdom to the son of the powerful kingdom. The catch is this: The war Kingdom has a Prince. And he is very opposed to this idea. So opposed, in fact, that he is willing to do anything in order to stop the wedding from happening. Including kill his own sister. I see him as this desperate, yet extremely intelligent individual who has spent his entire life fighting for the safety and purity of his people's blood. He is nothing less than a warrior, and will find any excuse to goto war.

Now... the princess I see as a woman who wants peace. She loves her brother, but will goto whatever lengths she deems as necessary to keep a war from happening between any countries. She has never even met the Prince of the powerful kingdom, but won't say no to the terms. She believes that this is finally the change the world needs.

Another main character I can see involved is the Commander of the powerful kingdom. He is this young, yet level headed man who understands that sometimes blood needs to be drawn in order to have peace. He's not solid on this idea of unity between the two countries, and can see it doing more harm than good in the long run. His past is very violent, and includes a lot of torture and rape from his father's end... all of which led him to the position he is now in.

This is all that I have at the moment. I didn't want to go further with it in case no one was interested If this happens, I would play the Commander of the powerful kingdom and the Prince from the war kingdom, as I pretty much have those two characters fleshed out and know how their minds work. But there are a ton of character opportunities here, from Kings and Queens, to Princes and other nobility, to servants and even friends of royal blood, etc. The opportunities are boundless. So let me know if you want this to happen, and I will continue to build this.

Awesome, guys, thank you for the interest! I have the whole day to dedicate to this, so I am super excited. One question I do have, though, and apologies if this is the wrong place... do I update on this thread? Or do I create a new Interest check with all of the information about the rp and such?

Also, to answer your concern, if you want to put up stuff like Character sheets and a larger background and setting info of the Rp, then I'd suggest creating a new thread in Out Of Character (OOC) section of your choosing and then post a link from the thread here .
