I had this idea that I could start a roleplay about something I actually have a huge interest in in real life and see what responses I got.
So as you know this will be a roleplay telling the story of a band. Now I want to make it absolutely clear that we are being realistic here. So when we're formed we will have trouble finding places to perform; have a severe lack of funding and have other life problems going on at the same time. So the things I am not going to stand for are perfect and amazing musicians at the beginning of the roleplay. Sure we'll be talented and will have played our instrument for a good few years, but even people who have been playing music for decades make mistakes, so our young characters will definately make mistakes.

So here are some of the main things that you will need to know about the roleplay.

I want you to post atleast every two days. Im being quite lax on the posting because I am very busy and have a lot of other things that need doing so yes atleast every two days.

In most circumstances I want atleast a paragraph or more (unless your characte has been asked a question or have no ther option but write one or two lines!)

Jason was born to a poor family on the southern coast of cornwall. He had no siblings and his father died when he was young from cancer. Aged nine his mother bought him a cheap acoustic guitar at an auction for christmas. Once he got it he played it religiously for the next few years. Aged twelve he managed to get a Fender Stratocaster for a hundred and fifty pounds, soon after this he managed to fix a broken marshall amp at his school. Then a quick raid of the music room cuboards found him a jack lead. Then he carried on playing until he was fifteen which was when he started doing gigs. He'd do about three tracks and get paid five quid at a pub called The Hopping Salmon.
Upon reaching the age of eighteen he immediatly moved to a flat in london and began working at Tesco. In the day he would work long hours and get paid little. In the night he would do gigs (live perfomances), party and drink too much. Aged twenty he managed to buy an 80 watt Marshall amp to replace his old battered one. Then resently he left Tesco and set up notices across london and the net that he was looking to form a band...

Personality: He is determined and is the type who will work until he's on his knees with exhaustion. He can be very kind and tactful, but can also be harsh and unpleasant, but then no one's perfect.

She was born into an average family. She has three older brothers, an older sister, and a twin brother. Her mother died giving birth. Her father got re-married and continued with his music carrier. he sang and played the bass for a local band of his high school buddies. They didn't get very big. Her father died when she was 17 and luckily for her and her twin brother they where both almost 18 meaning they could move out and live on their own.

She's obsessed with music and is rarely ever found not listening or playing music. She is very outgoing and friendly. She is very helpful. She will rarely hurt anyone unless they do something that sets her off
