The OOC of L'unite
It's where we discuss our issues, get acquainted, and whatever else OOCs are for.

The Hotel: It's a five star hotel, you know, have to be fancy for the people. Equipped with pool (indoor and outdoor), jacuzzis (most are indoor), a sparring area, a park (for the kiddies), a gym, and...and *looks at list* a garden.

I know we haven't met, but I can't help it but be reminded of this other RP thread being created from another site: http://forum.tnbc.eu/viewtopic.php?t...f021f0bd775b17

I don't know where you got the idea from, but the name is similar to that other RP thread, it maybe from another site but it can impact on the other user who originally created it. And have almost the same context, hotel, people with powers. To the creator it is a ripoff and is upset that you took the idea from him and twist it a bit and post it in here.

I know you probably weren't intending to do that. The creator made that thread back in 2010 and is still going on in that website. When he found out about your RP thread (Hotel L'unite) it broke his heart, and even though you probably said its just the Internet, there's no originality. And you maybe right, but the thread in the Pumpkin Patch, it means something to him, it's his work. He created the story of Motel L'unico and for 3 years, he continues his story in that thread. Why am I writing this and not the creator himself, because he's upset and is currently in bed. I'm his friend from the untied states and he's from the UK. I'm also part of his story and in that thread.

Wheaton trying to say is this: I hope you search around the Internet next time if you have an idea, of you do find the idea already made but still continue; at least credit the original and a link back to that website to take a read and appreciate his 3 year work of Role Play.

I hope you don't take an offense of this, I'm just telling you how it affected him. Hope you take a look and think about how foolish is to take an idea from one person an rip it off from it.

Name: Raine Starling

Race:Half human, half wolf
Power:Has the ability to manipulate light and darkness, by altering the particles of light; also can absorb and use them with her weapon (a small dagger)
Personality:Raine is a really outgoing person that is open to customer's suggestions about the little things in the hotel. Despite her bubbly demenor, Raine doesn't tolerate unecessary 'meanies' and is quick to go off, due to the mild temper she inherited from her werewolfish father. She also has a wondeful memory and can remember almost anything...mostly...
How long she'd been at the hotel:Raine has been at the hotel for nine years and has worked hard to gain the position of third in command
Bio:Raine lived and thrived in her small pack in the thick forests around a large mountain range. While there, she learned many survial and combat skills that she still use today. Though, at the age of 18, her parents told her that she needed to get out and do something with her life: a.k.a get a job and make some money, since she hadn't gone through with the traditional route of her people: get a mate and repopulate. Before she left, her father gave her a small dagger to keep with her, just incase she got into some 'trouble'. After wandering around the city for a few days, she stumbled upon a hotel that was looking for some extra help. Eager to work, Raine gladly entered the hotel and got the job almost immediately and is still there today.
Why is she staying at the hotel?:She isnt...but her paycheck provides enough money to allow her to stay in a nice sized apartment. Sometimes, though, if she's extremely tired, she sneaks into one of the unused rooms (don't tell her bosssss!)

Name: Zack Blu
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Personality: Zack takes the leader role (obviously), but is always open to new ideas. He is a bit sarcastic and has a low tolerance for stupidity. Even though he is serious most days, there are plenty of fun days he has. (Worded terribly) He isn't one for speechesyp and yelling at people, but will be forceful and strict if necessary. All in all, he's quite the bipolar one.
Race: Mixed Breed XD (Elemental and Kitsune...it could happen)
Power: He's a fire elemental and has the appearance of a Kitsune....it could happen
Hotel: During his childhood his parents, mainly his father, ran the hotel. He was practically, born and raised in the hotel. At the age of 18, Zack's father told him that he was going to inherit the hotel.

Fast forwarding to after his parents death, Zack took responsibility of L'unite. (Duh)
For awhile, L'unite had closed down for things like reconstruction and refurbishing. The hotel had been modernized for the new aged vampire, werewolves, zombies, humans, and etc.
Anything else you'd like to know, just ask him..
Some of the employees have known Zack since he was a child, so he is pretty casual with them, unless he doesn't like you of course.

Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Power: The power of Soul, and love, etc. (aka. None)
Personality: Kind. He's always willing to just sit and listen to people. Good at his music, and he's a good performer. However, he suffers from a lack of self confidence, but uses his performing as a way to hide it from everyone else.
Bio: Grew up in the American midwest. Went to college and graduated with a degree in political science. Failed at that and went into music. He's currently at the hotel trying to get a job as a music performer there. He hasn't been hired, they're just giving him a test run to see what the patrons think of him.

Power: Dragonic Magic,the ability to manipulate and breathe blue flames.
Personality: Evil,sadistic,selfish.
Bio: Draco has been a bounty hunter,being payed to kill people. He doesn't care who and why,as long as he gets paid. He carries a sword in his belt,a hidden knife under his left sleeve,a clawshot under his right sleeve,black orbs that explode upon contact,red orbs that can burst into flames and brown ones that can explode into smoke screens. He also has 2 pistols in his belt. If weapons aren't allowed in the hotel (which I'm assuming),he wouldn't have any weapons with him.
Why are you staying at the hotel: He's traveling and needs a place to stay for a while.

Race: Water Nymph

Power: Intoxicating smells surround her, internal heat is felt by anyone she touches, can walk on water, manipulate water, swim underwater thanks to hidden gills, dances on water, can sing to manipulate someone, has a goblet that can heal if it is drank from, immortal

Personality: Ione has a passive personality. She subscribes to the phrase do unto others as you would have them do unto you. She doesn’t find that yelling at others gets her what she wants. She was a slave after all, and worked her way up from under the head chef, to being one. She knows how it feels to be the servant and identifies with the waiters very much and every worker in the hotel for that matter. She is appreciative of everything that’s ever been given to her. She isn’t as close to the guests, but does her best to make them happy. She loves her job, but on the one hand, she still feels like serving others isn’t exactly what she’s meant to do in life. But seeing as she’s immortal she figures she has time to figure out what she wants. She hates arrogant men who think they own women, while she feels arrogant women are women with low self confidence trying to compensate. She is always extremely impressed by nice, sensitive guys though. Ione is like any regular person, having different reactions and moods depending on the day and person she’s talking to.

How Long You’ve Been Working At The Hotel: 10 years

Bio: Ione used to be named Seraphine, and when she was 20 years old she was a marine photographer. She was photographing sea life in a secluded cove when an intoxicatingly handsome man entranced her with his eyes and she followed him underwater. He kidnapped her to an underwater cavern and she was turned into a water nymph by this Keeper. He was evil, demanding, and controlling. She was made to work as a slave in and out of his ‘chambers’. She couldn’t escape him without being immortal or else she would be killed. Thus, with her new name of Ione given by her master, she made a deal with one of his many visitors- Fate. In exchange for Immortality, Fate gave Ione the goblet of healing in order to heal those close to death that she deemed worthy of life. Ione managed to escape, her Keeper sending out many warriors to prevent her, but she managed to escape from each thanks to not only her own prowess but by not being able to die. She emerged from the water in the same spot she had been over 10 years earlier, and had to find a way to survive. Now a supernatural being, she could see many things humans couldn’t and was lucky enough to find the owner of the L’unite Hotel (if this is OK!) who gave her a chance at working in the kitchen. Over the last 10 years she’s been working in the hotel, and worked her way up to chef.

Name: Anaximenes

Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Power: Can transform blood into red wine. He can live without blood for one month.
Personality: Not so friendly. Introvert. Arrogant.
Bio: Anaximenes spent most of his life wandering the forests searching for a meaning to his life. He could sit the whole night on a tree branch wondering why he is a vampire rather than a human being who could enjoy the warmth of the sun and lead a normal life. On the first night of one month, Anaximenes was searching for a prey to suck its blood when he found a huge building in between the forest and the main road. After curiosity stroke him, he learnt that it was a new hotel hiring people. Being a waiter was the perfect thing, he thought, as his passion was to watch over other creatures and learn of their stories.
