Wicked Witch Of The North
Paris--Prince Reginus Roseaux
Prince Reginus chuckles a bit.
"Oh you need not be impressed Mr Marcus, you come to me and present yourself merely as an intendant, but you cast no reflection my my highly polished floors, like you say yourself, it is not difficult to recognize a member of you Clan."
Reginus leaned back and smiles sweetly.
"You are familiar with all of the Disciplines you say Mr Marcus, now that would be quite a feat since there are quite a few rare ones, I doubt even the Antediluvians themselves know all of them, no matter though, we are both busy men so I will stop beating around the bush and tell you what I need of you. Lately my vault have been robbed and something very valuable have been stolen from me, a ring containing a blood of one of my ancestors, the ring vanished from a locked vault with no way in no way save shadows that is. Also two weeks ago I was in the unfortunate situation of having to execute a member of my city, the poor Kindred was staked and left in a room with a window open to the East, one of my ghouls where there to keep watch. The ghoul said a beautiful woman appeared out of a shadow and freed the prisoner, and then again this very evening, and personally most disturbing to me I wake up and hear someone in my bedchamber, I look around and my chambers have been ransacked and I see a woman, beautiful as Rome herself stand over a cupboard I have in my room, when I rush out of my bed, still rather groggy she takes one step to the side and vanish into a shadow."
Reginus voice took on a hard note.
"This woman have stolen from me once, kidnapped one of my prisoners and now invaded my private bed room, I want her head and since you share her probable Clan, unless another vampire have learned that degree of Obetnebration, is the logical man to ask for help in this matter."
The Prince leans forward in his chair again and looks Marcus straight in the eyes.
"I would off course be very thankful if this problem could be solved Mr Marcus...very grateful, and my annoyance if it is not will be equally great."

Paris-Marcus
Marcus inwardly scoffed at the princes implied threat, the chances of the prince being able to do anything at all to him were slim, but still possible. "I am curious as to why you think I will help you, your anger would indeed be dangerous to me but I have not spent the last several centuries trying to stay out of court politics only to be dragged back in my a simple request for help, I have no particular loyalty to my clan so that is not what is stopping but I am curious as to what you can offer me that you think will sway my mind to aid you? I am here mostly to observe and learn more after all, not to hunt down a kindred. Some advice for you free of charge if there is someone in your city who can travel the shadows like that then it is also likely that she is a vampire of some significant power and you should be wary about her."

Paris--Prince Reginus Roseaux
Reginus nodded.
"Well your free advice is welcome and is also common sense, I will indeed be weary of this woman."
The old Prince said then he leaned back in his seat and smiles.
"I do not expect you to aid me for free Mr Marcus, you are a Methuselah that much is sure, I am not certain about your generation but I suspect it is around five, I have little interest in starting a conflict with you, though I see in your eyes that you underestimate me. I know you are a scholar and I am prepared to offer you a payment of knowledge. The rring I mentioned which was stolen is not the only artifact in my possession which comes from my ancient ancestor, I also have several old scrolls describing the development of the Dominate Discipline, a Discipline that is near and dear to your own Clan as well the way I understand it. I will not give you the scrolls themselves, they are a part of my heritage, but I will allow you to study them and also provide you with copies of them."
The Prince said, he opened a drawer in his desk and pulled out a photograph, the picture showed a room, in the corners could be seen environment control devices and along the walls where shelves holding various artifact and also several ancient looking scrolls kept in glass boxes.
"The scrolls are quite old and fragile but I am sure a scholar like yourself should have the knowledge of how to handle such delicate things."
Reginus said as he leaned back in his seat again.
"So do such a payment satisfy you Methuselah?"
The Prince said in a tone of voice that not only spoke of knowing Marcus secrets but which was also in itself a threat, if the general vampire population was to figure out a Methuselah walked among them, one who had to feed on the blood of his own kind, then there would be panic and that would not be good for Marcus, not good at all.

Paris- John Huber
John raised an eyebrow as the vampire spoke, and then he gave a small smile in response.
"No." He said, reaching down and picking up the stake. He twirled it in his fingers, staring down at the women and her companion.
"How stupid do you think I am? I'm not going to let you paralyze me, and then be able to kill me with that silent crossbow you have their, or any other method. You could just open the windows and I won't be able to move until morning. I'm not taking that risk, I have no reason to trust you." The vampire explained, before he turned on his heel and grabbed his knife off the ground, clicking it shut and putting it in his pocket, staring at the two slayers.
"Now then, scram." He growled, before standing and watching both of them. It was obvious he wanted them to just stand aside and let him walk past, back to Hassan's apartment, but he wasn't about to stake himself. He felt his legs get tense, ready to spring in case on of them decided to attack.

Wicked Witch Of The North
Paris--Lindsay Ellis and Frank Madieu
Lindsey looked sternly at John then she shrugs.
"We hoped it would not have to come to a fight in a populated area, the chance of discovery is always greater then."
The hunter said as John collected his knife.
"You should have taken Frank's offer, he do keep his word, even to a vampire and would have left you safe in that apartment, it would have been a simpler solution for all of us, how well now I get to exterminate you instead."
The woman said without a hint of compassion in her voice then she loosened the arrow on her crossbow.
Lindsey was a good shot and the arrow hit true in John's chest, splintering two ribs in it's way. The metal on the arrow's tip sliced into John's heart and for a moment the wood of the weapon was in it as well. The pain was beyond belief and John feels his entire body locking up into rigor mortis, paralyzing him, someone must be watching over the young vampire however at the arrow do not stay in his chest, that was the problem with using a crossbow against a vampire, sometimes the arrow would be propelled at the target with to much force and pass right through the body, especially with young vampires. John regain his ability to move as quickly as it was taken away and the gruesome agony of being staked faded to just not not insubstantial pain of a gaping chest wound with several broken ribs and damage to his heart.
"The arrow did not stay in, get him before he recovers completely!"
Lindsey called and she grabbed a wooden knife from her belt and rush John, Frank pulls out short, sharp blade and comes at th vampire from the side."

"Methuselah? My you think highly of my power, I am afraid you must be mistaken Prince. I have made a study of many other disciplines and a great study of mine own so my power may just be greater than that of an average 7th generation vampire, especially since I am several centuries old. Nevertheless even with your incorrect threats and statements, I recognize those scrolls. They are some of the few I have yet to read as I never managed to find them, this of course explains why. As such I would indeed be willing to carry out this task for you especially since I would be allowed to copy them to add to my collection. Alas I would not advise you to expect results soon, finding a vampire with the power to move across the world at a whim will be no easy to task, nevertheless I will try. If I may ask, do you have any suggestions on where to start looking?" Inwardly Marcus seethed, who was this prince who knew who he was or at least thought he knew? Who was he that he was confident enough to threaten one of the fifth generation? No matter, he would do this task and then this prince would leave him alone, if need be Marcus could be in Miami in an instance should the need arise, he would be safe from the prying prince there.

Paris--Prince Reginus Roseaux
Reginus gave a slight smile as he bridged his fingers again.
"I do think you are to modest Mr Marcus and is selling your power and ability short."
The old vampire said and gave a polite smile then he nodded.
"I do not expect results immediately, but I do expect that you put all your efforts into this investigation, after all the payment I am offering you for it is quite grand, and there is some urgency to this problem of mine since I do not like to have to sleep with guards in my chamber, afraid of shadows as it where."
The Prince said and leaned back, when Marcus asked him if there where any leads he nodded.
"Yes there are some leads, but not very solid ones. In the city there lives an Ancilla Caitiff named Bridget Von Edel and she have a unique Discipline to be able to see through shadows, you know how some of the Clanless create their own Disciplines, well she have and she have reported to me of troubling things seen in the Abyss, I do not know if it is related to my unbidden visitor but two weeks ago Miss Van Edel came to me and said she had seen something, though she have been unable to describe what and have plain refused to look into the shadows for any price since, and I know several who have tried to ask her for favors, she is quite the good spy after all, everyone have been sent away."
The Prince said and tapped his long, thin fingers against his lips then he said.
"And there is one more lead, I have a Brujah prisoner in the basement, her name is Avi and she was convicted of killing her Gangrel lover one hundred years ago, she have been kept staked but awake since. My guard down there noticed considerable changes in Miss Avi's aura on the three nights that this mystery woman have been seen on Elysium, he aura changing to show great fear, greater than the one she is constantly in due to the stake, I do not know why but it have happened each time."
The Prince said then he opened another drawer on his desk and found a notepad, on it was a drawing of a beautiful woman with high cheekbones, dark piercing eyes and long dark hair that swirled around her like shadows themselves. Reginus handed the drawing to Marcus.
"Here Mr Marcus this is a representation of the woman I saw and I have checked it with the ghoul who was watching the prisoner who was to be executed but who was kidnapped and this is the same woman that he saw."
The Prince said then he sigh.
"I want this woman captured or killed as soon as possible Mr Marcus, as soon as possible. I will not tolerate anyone making a fool out of me!"
