PLOT

Creation was a world filled with inexplicable marvels: sky cities, roaming sea barracks as large as villages, orchards in the middle of the dessert, universities that housed all knowledge and workshops where many other marvels were built. It is a place where the plenteous Guardians ruled under a few beings called Ascendants. Crime and corruption were almost unheard of and the only evil ever known were the darkwalkers, kept back in the void beyond the world. Poverty was only for the lazy and everyone was accorded what they gained through merit. Magical technology (magitech) can be accessed by anyone even without powers.

But that was five hundred years ago. Barely any of the marvels remained, those that did are now haunted by darkwalkers and their creatures. Those that are not are barred by powerful magic useless to anyone. Crime was in every sad, poverty-stricken street corner and there were even islands dedicated to keeping them. Many villages have gone unattended, fending off their enemies by themselves. Darkwalkers were no longer sealed in the void, raging an unholy war against the guardians and the people of Creation. It is now a place where Ascendants, now called abhorrents, are hunted and scattered and those who survive hide until their long lives expire. Those who have access to magitech are only Guardians and the extremely wealthy who can hire Guardians to operate the magitechs for them.

There are many tales and legends about what happened depending on the society and place where you hear them. Dig deep into all these tales and the keen finds a startling theme that unifies them all. Everyone feared what they did not understand and they trembled at the thought of beings who held so much power. The Guardians used this to host a unified uprising against the unsuspecting Ascendants who fell in only a few days of war.

After the war, none of the Gurdians' creations and marvels held water to the simplest of Ascendant ingenuity and wars broke out within nations and peoples. While there are still secure and peaceful places, underneath movements are brewing to destroy these societies from greedy denizens of creation to the darkwalkers that plague the outskirts of the land.

As the world spirals down into its own destruction, the Ascendants know that they must rise and fix a broken world or perish along with it. But first they must survive and grow to understand their powers, become accepted and take their rightful places before they can even think of anything else.

CHARACTERS YOU CAN PLAY

Heroic human (normal human that displays heroic attributes)

Guardians (humans endowed with the power of one of the elements only. powers are hereditary. average lifespan: 200-400 years)

Ascendants (humans endowed with the power of the Guardians and more abstract powers; can learn the specialties of other Ascendants. chosen by unknown powers and are outnumbered by guardians 1:1000. average lifespan: 500-700 years)

- Harmony (specialties: educators, peacemakers, administrators)
- Valor (specialties: generals, warriors, protectors)
- Justice (specialties: investigators, inflitrators, messengers)

NOTES ABOUT THE WORLD

- the world is similar to the periods in the range of 1000 AD, meaning around the classical era or the ten kingdoms, only with magitech and supernatural powers
- the world is a mix of different cultures similar to our world and are spread abroad.
- you can come from any background. even tree-dwelling people. you can even create your own society if you want.

- not restricted to romance. on this note, i will play a girl so if you want this to have romance, please be male. i don't do fxf.
- please notify if you won't be rp-ing this campaign anymore. i understand that some people get bored easily. i don't want to keep on expecting a reply and none comes.
- no one-liners please. at least post two paragraphs or one very long one.
- if you want to play an already almighty Ascendant, please note that you cannot god-mode. there will be restrictions on your character and/or very hefty problems *cough*focused hunting by thousands of guardians*cough* that will not let you do as you please.
- i can build a plot with you if you have one in mind so we don't go around like headless chickens.
- i would really prefer post by thread, but am open to other modes.
- if interested, PM me with the alternate/evil name for the Ascendants in the subjects so i know you've read this and agreed.
