John laughed at Eddy's difficult lesson as Kardi crashed into him. With a small smirk John crossed his arms and watched the training continue "He's right, i'm fine, get back to you lesson, I'm going to go check on the crew, make sure they're working. Have fun." John smiled and walked away from the two of them.

Eddy nodded to his captain as he swung at Kardi's side only to be barely blocked. "Alright not bad, but this time try to catch my blade with yours." With a fierce look in his eye Eddy advanced forward with a quick lunge, in the same motion he swung down hard at Kardi's head.

Kardi was to quick to react she threw up her blade holding onto the tip with her other hand. Eddy's blade was stopped by Kardi. Her hands were slightly a over her head, and her blade was held by both hands. A small trickle of blood came from the hand that held the pointy side. "Ahh" Kardi exclaimed tearing her hand away quickly. The pain was rather bad. Kardi looked down at her hand. It was a clean slice that was sill dripping blood. A adrenaline rush surged it's way through her body.

The small yell gained some attention. Some of the crew members stopped their card game to watch the girl learn to sword fight. When blood was seen a couple turned back around sure that she would stop training because she had hurt herself.One man turned to someone near by and exclaimed "Twenty dollars she stops the fight". "I'll take that bet" Rodger said moving closer to the first. Something about the encounter he had had with her made Rodeger see the fighter in her. He was rather young so maybe it was him being naive, but he didn't mind losing twenty if he was wrong.

((Sorry, i've been getting ready to move out of my house the past couple days, haven't had a lot of time to post/think))

Eddy stepped forward and held his hand out, offering to look at her wound. Looking at her hand, the wound wasn’t too terrible, but if not treated could become bad. “Alright lass, let’s take a short break. Go get your hand stitched up and come back. I’ll be waiting.” Eddy let go of her hand and pointed her in the direction of the Doctors. He quickly turned towards the group gambling about her giving up, and glared heavily. “I won’t be having any o’ that!” He spoke heavily, a warning on the tip of his tongue.

"No, I'm fine" Kardi said breathing a bit heavy because of the rush of adrenaline. Kardi gripped her sword hard, and got back in the fighting position. Kardi if anything wanted to prove them wrong. She didn't want to fall short because she couldn't handle pain. It wasn't the smart thing to do seeing as the cut really did need stitches ,but she wasn't about to let the pirates get a smug grin on their face on her behalf.
