RP Inspired by shows like, lost girl, Sanctuary, Supernatural

As the title said, My inspiration for this RP comes from various different shows I've watched or looked into and managed to interest me enough, of course I wasn't all that keen on just rippin one off =3 So I'm doing a bit of mixing from each one with my own imagination mixed in to build one from the ground up. Other shows may inspire bits as well, such as Warehouse 13 or Alphas for instance ^.^.

Currently to share the basic idea, without lots of details, It'll take place on an large and well populated Island that for all intents and purposes is 'in the middle of nowhere', perfect place for unnatural things to hang around without worrying about human government getting in the way.


So, for the moment, who's interested? A LOT more info will be available once I post the OOC, but I'm open to CO-GMs, as well as any suggestions someone might have. I'll be including a map for both the island, and important settled areas that we'll need to know about, simple maps of course, I have to resort to MS paint of course.

I'm sure someone may ask, so I'll say it here, 'most' various species and races that exist in the verses that inspire this RP will be allowed, however, if it is particularly powerful, such as the Garuda, Hyperspecies Abnormals, or Greater demons, You'll need to PM me about them and do some convincing.

Also, for those interested in playing 'powerful people', If you don't feel like making your own faction, you could ask about creating a leader or ranking member of a faction already in the RP, though I would still suggest making a more normal leveled character as high ranking members likely won't be constantly active in this.


Lastly, In light of some inspiration from an RP 'I' joined recently, I think I may create an 'RP Group' for this RP once the OOC Phase is complete, to more thoroughly organize things without having to create a slew of different threads. I have enough inspiration to likely keep this RP going for years, so I implore you to be certain where or not your 'really' interested and will stick with it, or just riding the classic 'oh that's cool' high for a couple of days before losing interest. I know that happens because I've done it a few times myself T.T

I actually have a sizeable ammount of the OOC set up to post soon, I oughta have a basic chunk of info up within an hour or so, though even then there will still be plenty of information flowing in over the next few days, like new active species to add in, maps for various areas and specific info on factions and the like.
