SIREN: The sirens are an enigmatic race that can be found all over the world. While little is known of them exactly, they are known to be from a city that floats aimlessly in another dimension, linked to several small villages in each of the continents. A siren can be mistaken for an elf at first with their slender frames and pointed ears, but their true nature becomes apparent at short distances. Sirens have unusual eyes, featuring sideways bar type pupils, similar to that of a goat or a frog. Most sirens are female, with about one in ten being male. Sirens are known primarily for their unique brand of magic, which incorporates song, but are also known for their advanced technology. Sirens live about as long as dwarves do, reaching maturity at about 14.
PALLADIAN: Palladians are another mysterios race, even moreso than the sirens. They are characterized by their gray skin, patterned with numerous sweeping black markings and very light, almost white hair, and bright yellow eyes with black sclera. Palladians are varied in skillsets and professions, but they tend to be a bit faster than most. Every palladian can use healing magic. why? nobody
knows. Palladians are very rare, with no one particular home continent, and they have comparable lifespans to elves.
OTHER RACES:
these races are less common, and are described in less detail.
LIZARDFOLK: A catch-all term to describe anyone that has reptilian features. Lizardfolk are extremely varied, so attempts to classify them as a race often fail.
DEMON: Various lesser demons live on RUNE, most of which were originally from the abyss, but probably came to RUNE when they were exiled from the abyss by their demonlord master's. as a result, the demons that most find living alongside humans are of a more mild-mannered temperament than their counterparts in the abyss. Again, demon is a catch-all term for denizens of the abyss, with many different types of individual creatures.
DEVIL: Devils are scheming, as opposed to their destruction-loving demon counterparts in the abyss. Nevertheless, Devils came to the world in a similar manner to the demons. There are again many different kinds of devils, including Imps, Succubi, and the like.
ORC: The standard variety of orc found in D&D apply here. most are found in Ignis.
GOBLIN: again, standard D&D goblins. found just about anywhere.
LYCAN: there exist lycanthropes of many varieties. a good rule of thumb is that if it's a mammal, there is probably a lycan variant of it. Lycans cannot have children and must infect human's to procreate.
VAMPIRE: Not a race on it's own, vampirism can be spread to any mammalian race. Lycans cannot be infected by vampirism. Vampires cannot have children the standard way.
There are many more races that I may not have necessarily thought of, so feel free to ask permission if it is not listed.
