In a magical sense, maybe. Fire also relies on oxygen in order to maintain constant heat, and cut off the oxygen, and you have no fire. That's why you never see fire in a seal container. That's science for you. Besides that, if there's only thing magic and science do often together, it's screw with the gods and other higher powers; magic defies the set realities and laws placed upon the world, and science bends and manipulates it for it's own purposes. The very things used by the gods can be used against them, if any fantasy settling taught me anything.

There are six continents on RUNE, each with a corresponding element.
NOVA: Continent of Light. Nova is the continent of light, but that does not mean it's citizens are any more virtuous than any other continent's. Nova's geographical features include rolling hills, plains of Unusual mirrored grass, crystalline forests, and snowy tundra in the north.
UMBRA: Continent of Darkness. Umbra is the continent of darkness, but that does not mean it's citizens are any more evil than any other continent's. Umbra's geographical features include large forests, massive plains of violet grasses, swamps, and several highlands.
IGNIS: Continent of Fire. Ignis is the only continent with active volcanoes. Ignis's geographical features include a chain of active volcanoes, fields of iron, and little else. there is very little vegetation in Ignis, and whatever plant life you do find is likely to explode.
AQUA: Continent of Water. Aqua is the smallest continent, but Aqua claims ownership of almost all the Islands scattered around RUNE. Aqua's geographical features include Tropical islands, vast Frozen wastes, and several underwater locales.
TERRA: Continent of Earth. Terra is the largest continent, as well as the most geographically diverse. Terra's geographical features include vast forests, large mountain chains, a vast desert, jungles, plains, highlands, and many others.
VENTUS: Continent of Air. Ventus is unique for parts of it being almost mobile, as there are a number of floating islands hovering above it. Ventus's geographical features include Windswept mountains, floating islands, flatlands of metal that crackle with lightning, and valleys plagued by tornadoes.

Doppelgangers are uncommon, but they do exist. They can only change to look like humanoids though. All druids can shapeshift into animals anyway, so being a changeling is pointless.
