History: Contrary to what most of New York wants to believe, Peter Parker is not only M.I.A. but also K.I.A. he was killed by the mutant hunter squad some five months ago, his death kept a secret to prevent riots across New York by the few remaining supporters of Spider-Man. Without Peter, the remaining mutants lost ground in the war, from the departure of Thor to Asgard, to the vanishing of Bruce Banner. It was because of this that the remaining mutants began a cloning program to bring back some of their most prestigious and needed members. It is unknown to almost everyone how the mutants came to possess Peter Parker's DNA, but nonetheless, they used it. Mutant scientists worked three months around the clock, twenty-four seven, working exclusively on clones of Peter Parker, failed clone after failed clone, one born with eight legs, one born with no limbs at all, the project looked to be a failure, until subject 149 was born, the near perfect clone, subject 149 passed all of the genetic examinations to power tests, perfect wall-climbing ability, flawless spider-sense, he even possessed Peter's relative personality, to the dismay of some of the scientists on the job. The only error being the small amount of Gwen Stacy's DNA found on Peter's body becoming Ben's most recognizable trait: Blonde hair.

During his first days in the world, Gambit and most of the X-Men referred to him either as "Peter" or "Spider-Man", after recounting his "brother's" past life, the clone now known as the Scarlet Spider took the maiden name of his Aunt May as his surname, and, due to the particular potency of the memory, took Ben as his first name, his first steps in separating himself from the universal image of Spider-Man. The next of course, being his hoodie . Ben was given his red body suit immediately after being given a tour of the facility he now calls his home, and, during a routine patrol operation in Las Vegas, Ben took the hoodie from a recently-broken-into department store, and following the round-up of the criminals, he has used it as a part of his uniform ever since. Finally beginning to crafthis own identity after being granted the code-name of Scarlet Spider by Polaris, Ben continues his training in Zeta base alongside the heroes-turned-rebels.

(Her torso, face and head are still completely fine unlike in the picture. The panels also aren't as pronounced on her body. Reed Richards isn't one to do shitty work.)

    Name:
    Victoria "Vicki" Nostrum

    Codename:
Andrii Oakley (A play off of Annie Oakley. Stage sharp shooter during the late 1800's and early 1900's. Also, the Andrii part ties in to the fact that she's an Android essentially.) But more so just "Oakley" due to the use of her abilities and her relatively accurate aim.

    Age: 20

    Gender: Female

Danger Rank: E. She has only just been released from her capsule. No one even knows who she is yet, besides the team.

Personality: Victoria is a proud woman. She holds herself with a regal air, even in her most trying times. What others deem as arrogance and condescension are simply and observing eye and a tongue that stays itself when the timing isn't appropriate. She is forthcoming with her opinions of others or a situation when asked, and stands by her word. This is something she's always done, and it's essentially the way she's always been. Confidence, the ability to inspire and encourage, honesty, a slightly stubborn attitude are all in her repertoire. She's a person who doesn't give up easily, but she doesn't turn a blind eye to her limits. Though confident, she tries not overestimate what she can do, but will often do that for others when it comes to a fight. Her resilience when it comes to surrendering can be at her detriment, because once she's started a task, she usually won't stop.

Powers: Originally Vicki had the ability to manipulate light in all of it's forms and create hard light constructions. She could weave beautiful constructs in a matter of seconds. She could fly by riding light waves, absorb light and redirect, heal others with light, and a plethora of other things.

But alas, she's been unable to do most of those things since her body was virtually destroyed:

-Hard Light Construction: She's till able to create hard light constructs. And strong ones at that. The problem is, she doesn't have the range that she had originally. At this point, she can make contact weapons, spheres of varying sizes, barriers and beams of varying power.

-Enhanced Strength: with the new toys she's been given, she is able to lift a 1/2 ton easily before she feels as if she's going to overheat.

-Enhanced Speed: She is able to clock in at about 65 mph running. This however, does not translate to enhanced reflexes. She's still got much to learn about her new circumstances and she's not yet at adept at everything that's come with it.

Skills: -Vicki is an able fighter. Having trained in a couple of martial arts. She's no ninja. But against most people she can hold her own without much trouble. At this moment, she's a little clunky with her fighting, but she's overcoming the new extremities.

-She speaks multiple languages including Arabic, French, Egyptian, and Spanish. English is her primary language.

-She hasn't been able to definitively prove it, but she feels that, ever since she's come back, she learns at a faster pace. Almost as if she's "downloading" information. But she has no way of finding out. At least, not for now.

Backstory: Now, one could go as far back to her childhood, and talk about how Victoria coped with her powers. They could go over her childhood. They could touch on her romantic. They could cover a number of things. But none of these things are particularly pertinent to the story.

What is important, however, are the circumstances and events surrounding her immediate situation and current....."predicament" if you will. In a nutshell, Vicki was the student and pride of the one and only Doctor Strange, before things went to hell and back. Her time studying him wasn't necessarily focused on magic, but more on nether worldly occurrences and the science of alien races. Her mutant ability of creating hard light constructs were also very useful to Doctor Strange. Her wit, cunning nature, stout resolve, and general openness to other worlds made her a perfect protege to the Doctor.

During a mission to obtain a magical relic that had somehow transported itself from Mayan ruins to a nether world, Strange and Nostrum were confronted by a powerful demon. His name was M'tchlyan. He had taken the relic as his own and had possessed it, using the vast magic held within as a source of power. Strange new immediately that once the relic was used up, the demon would leave it and begin a rampage throughout the worlds. After a quick phase of planning, Strange and Nostrum lodged their assault. But as soon as they began, with Vicki trying to pierce the dark magic barrier the demon had brought up and Strange reciting incantations, the demon split himself in to two. A part of him stayed inside the relic and the other part of him launched at Vicki. The battle that ensued pushed Vicki to her limits, while Strange continued to break the demons hold on the relic, knowing that once he did that, the demon fighting Vicki would weaken. Unfortunately though, he was a moment too late. The demon broke through a barrier Vicki had evoked and possessed her body. To this day, Vicki doesn't remember what happened after that. She just remembers waking up, years later.

But the story goes like this:

Upon having her body possessed, Strange broke the last level of possession on the relic and the demon weakened his hold on Vicki. But in a last ditch effort he screamed at Strange in tongues. The message was clear though: "Since you have taken my body and my source of sustenance. Your precious innocent shall never leave this world!" A circle of glowing purple appeared around both of her shoulders, and thighs. Before Strange could react, they brightened and all of Vicki's extremities vanished, leaving blood gushing in it's place. The scream from Vicki was one that could only be described as maddening pain and a desperate plea to be killed at that moment.

The scream of a woman who had forgotten everything but pain. Maddening pain.

Strange rebounded quickly though, destroying the demon in one fell swoop as he left Vicki's body, and putting Vicki under a stasis spell.

With her frozen in time, she was safe, for now. As soon as they came back to Earth, Strange enlisted the help of two of the greatest minds he knew: Reed Richards and Tony Stark. They both owed him favors and he was cashing in. With the alien tech and knowledge that Reed possessed and the unparalleled engineering and robotics knowledge held by Tony, they were able to deconstruct an old prototype of Tony's and re-vamp it. Vicki actually held a soft place in Reed's life as she had originally been an apprentice of his a year prior, with his knowledge of extra-terrestrial life playing directly in to her goals. They toiled away, perfecting the the extremities that would replace what she'd lost, adding alien tech to make it more organic and Stark technology to make sure it would function for years to come. The metal and tech they created could almost grow, given proper stimuli and heal with the right rays and time. In just under a week, they had perfected it. The attachment procedure was a one-shot deal. Once Strange released the spell, they had a limited amount of time to attach the limbs before Vicki would die of blood loss and shock, or her mind would snap from the pain. As soon as Strange released her from the spell, Stark and Richards set to work.

A success! It had been a success!!

This had been the year of 2016. And as most things go in the life of a hero, as soon as something good comes to fruition, something unimaginable comes to overshadow it. It wasn't long before all hell broke loose. Reed and his team vanished. Stark was gone, and Strange vanished just like that. But before they left, Reed put Vicki in a cryogenic capsule. Unfortunately, the timer malfunctioned, and what was supposed to only be a year turned in to 6. Strange and Richards had been smart enough to leave her instructions when she came to though and she was able to deduce what had happened in her time frozen. A video file activated the minute the capsule opened in Strange's lair as she stepped out, explaining most of the circumstances to her, her body, the modifications and other pertinent information.

The transition in to the year 2022 hadn't been an easy one. Her mind had been fragile for a couple of months before she started adjusting to her new body.

Now, she resides with the remaining X-Men and is slowly building herself back to how she was before the accident.

    Name: Luke Moore
    Codename: N/A
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
    Danger Rank: N/A
    Appearance:
Tall and slim, Luke is otherwise a pretty average looking guy, the kind you’d have difficult picking out of a crowd. He keeps himself in shape but is not particularly athletic, being one of those people who stays slim without any apparent effort. He exploits his average appearance as best he can, trying not to stand out, knowing that he’s a mutant makes sure he doesn’t try to attract attention and he usually wears muted colours, jeans and a hoody so he can hide his face if necessary.

Personality: Usually the joker, Luke finds it hard to take any situation entirely serious, something which most people find annoying and has got him into more trouble than he cares to admit. He’s friendly and but doesn’t open up recently, not because of his mutation but because of the nature of his upbringing. He doesn’t like violence, and tries to avoid it, but will use it more readily to defend friends than himself. He might take a while to open up, but once he is befriended he is loyal to the end. Unfortunately he’s not proved good at maintaining friendships, he says things without thinking when he’s comfortable with people and it’s ended more than a few relationships for him.

Powers: Luke has powerful gravity manipulation abilities, but ones that can only be used for one specific thing. He can generate a localised gravity field so powerful it literally bends the space time continuum and deposits him in an entirely different location, essentially, teleportation. He can focus on specific areas in order to appear there but the maximum range of his abilities is entirely dependent on the speed he is travelling, multiplying exponentially as he accelerates. Walking pace gives him about ten metres range while travelling at a hundred kilometres per hour in a car could give a range of up to twenty kilometres. Unfortunately he currently can’t travel with more than one or two people. If they are in contact with him they will be safe but his abilities are as dangerous as they are useful. While he can utilise the speed of a car to teleport, it is either too big or too heavy for him to take it with him, his abilities would instantly compress the car to fill the space he has just vacated. Anymore than two people and the same would happen to them. He thinks this might just be an aspect of his control instead of a permanent drawback to the power, but so far has made little headway in improving. If he has his hand on someone he can also teleport them without going with them, though the effect is disorientating if the traveler is not used to it, as long as they are not outside of his current limits and they are moving he can teleport them the same distances he would be able to, though with less control. He is still learning the limits and gifts of his powers, and sometimes will accidentally activate them when he is focusing on something.

    Skills: Driving
    Jacking cars
    Car Mechanic
    Free Running
    Playing violin
    Krav Maga - Blackbelt

Backstory: Luke grew up an orphan, taken from his parents shortly after he was born, he never knew them, and his attempts to find them ended in failure. He grew up in an orphanage in New York City and by all accounts didn’t have a particularly bad childhood. The orphanage wasn’t particularly well funded but the people who ran it did their best, and far from being the stereotypical exploiting characters of a storybook, actually cared for the children in the home. He had a decent education and had to learn to play an instrument as part of that, learning the violin, one of the instruments the owners themselves could play. Though he was fostered a number of times, his mischievous antics often ended with him back in the home, to the exasperation of the owners.

When he left he did so with enough education to go to university, but never did. He fell into the wrong crowd when he left the home, and what little money he was earning he pumped into his car, becoming a street racer. He made a lot of money racing on the streets, and lost it just as quickly. That was when he discovered his power, during a race. He was focusing so hard on winning that he touched the well of power that lay inside and was shocked to discover himself on Liberty Island. The car, already destroyed by the effects of his power, was even more totalled when it smashed headfirst into a building. Perhaps the only reason the authorities didn’t put 2 and 2 together there and then.

Realising he was a mutant he knew he couldn’t go back, he’d had his car bet on that race, and with it crumpled and destroyed his opponent would payment he didn’t have. He took what money he did have and fled the state, not really knowing where he was going, having only recently discovered he was a mutant he spent most of his time travelling trying to learn to control it. He’s currently travelling across the country looking for others like him, hoping for there to be some place he can live in peace with them. He jacks a new car in every town, trying to lay low, but he knows that with every stolen car, and the occasional crumpled wreck he leaves behind it’s only a matter of time before the authorities identify him.

    Name:

    Daniel Reed Grimm

    Codename:

    Doesn't have one currently

    Age:

    19

    Gender:

    Male

    Danger Rank:

    C

    Personality:

Daniel is an extremely brave, loyal and selfless person with tremendous strength of character. He will never turn his back on a friend and will go to great lengths and take great risks in order to help others, particularly his loved ones. He is highly resourceful, full of determination and possesses a certain disregard for rules. His strong-willed stubbornness can sometimes get in trouble as when he refuses to back down no matter what the situation. This also extends to his personal opinions, sticking with his views no matter what everyone else might say.

He exudes a calm, assured air, appearing controlled, but curiously emotional. He is very passionate in all that he engages himself in. Though he can be compassionate, because of the tragedy of his family, Danny appears more solitary, suspicious, and practical. He is wary of any new person that he meets, a result of seeing the individuals that his family dealt with. He had developed a habit of not trusting new things and places as he did not know if interacting with the wrong people might hurt him or if taking a wrong step might end his life. This dislike of new things was also extended into his interactions with people. But once he comes to know and truly trust a person, he will go to great lengths to defend them. He will also defend himself or whatever he holds dear, no matter the cost to himself or others.

Dan is also very intelligent and strong-willed, traits from his mother and father. He possesses incredible determination and fortitude and is willing to go to any lengths to fulfill any activity he starts, enduring the most intense hardships and ordeals gladly and without complaint. But though he is willing to put himself in harm's way to achieve his goals, he will not risk another person's life for his own good.

While usually fun-loving and lively, Daniel has shown a much darker side that comes forward when he actually becomes angry, during battle situations of any kind, or just simple confrontations or altercations. He becomes a brutal fighter and looks out only for those he considers a friend, often putting himself first if he happens to be fighting among those he doesn't know. In light of his out-of-battle persona, this makes him come across as hypocritical, though he does have his reasons. This battlefield persona is closely linked to his childhood, as in the super hero community he watched how his father handled situation with - his fists. Growing up around him and other violent tendencies, Daniel was urged to begin training harder with his father so he'd have a more healthy vent for his anger, though it didn't stop him turning to violence as a means to solve his troubles. He was suspended multiple times from school and eventually expelled due to striking his gym teacher after an argument.

    Powers:

Earth Link - Stated by Franklin Richards, Danny has psychic bond between himself and Earth including the primal life force of Earth's biosphere. This bond with the Earth gives him a spiritual and material sustenance with an almost empathic sense towards living things. He can sense the quality of the life around him, including the condition of plants, unnatural earthquakes, and changes within the soil.

Stone Mimicry - Danny is able to possess a smooth, black, rock-like hide as a result of his mutant power. This ability causes his musculature, bone structure, internal organ composition, soft tissue structure, and skin to greatly increase in toughness and density. Unlike his father, Daniel has no mental block keeping him from going between this form and his human form. In addition, he can fire off his rock hide in little rock shards that he can regrow after firing.

Superhuman Strength - His strength is by far his greatest power currently. Initially, he was only strong enough to lift about 5 ton. Over the years, through rigorous training, his strength dramatically increased to the point where he can lift roughly 15 tons at excess. This strength also extends to his leg muscles. His superhumanly strong legs allow him to run at speeds that are far beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete. The fastest that Daniel can currently go when pushing himself is an upwards of 100 MPH.

Superhuman Stamina: Dan's advanced musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human. At his peak, he can exert himself for about 3 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to affect him. Incidentally, Dan's lungs are of greater volume and efficiency than a normal man's, enabling him to hold his breath underwater for up to 9 minutes, despite the fact that he smokes.

Superhuman Durability - In addition to great strength, the Ben's body possesses a degree of resistance to injury. His bodily tissues is fortified by his rock composition, making them much harder and more resistant to physical injury than the body of a normal human. Despite his resistance to physical harm, it is possible to cause Daniel injury. His body can also withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -50 degrees to 600 degrees Fahrenheit for up to one hour before exposure or heat prostration occurs.

Superhuman Sensory Adaptation: Though his senses aren't superhumanly acute, his five senses can withstand greater amounts of sensory stimuli than a normal human being with no reduced sensitivity.

    Skills:

Skilled Combatant: He is uniquely gifted in the art of hand-to-hand combat, a skill honed by his father and constant street fighting, though his fighting style tends to be a rather loose brawling technique all his own. This style often incorporates collegiate wrestling techniques, Boxing (as he has spent hours upon hours honing his boxing skills with his father), and various influences from Martial Arts.

Gifted Engineer: Having a great interest and gift in Engineering, Dan was able to get his Uncles Reed and Johnny Storm to teach him about Engineering. Though Ben has a great interest in Aviation and Mechanics respectively. He is not anywhere near Reed nor Tony Stark's level but, he hopes to one day achieve their greatness.

    Backstory:

Due to the love shared by Benjamin Grimm and Alicia Masters, they were able to create a child. This child was named Daniel Reed Grimm, his middle name was a respect to Benjamin's life long friend Reed Richards while the first name is in respect to Grimm's brother. As a young child within the Baxter Building, Daniel was subject to the constant threat of superheroes that wanted to make hostage of him and the bit older Franklin Richards. There was always some villain attacking, some madmen that wanted to end the Fantastic Four and this is what caused Daniel to activate his powers at an early age though his psychic link with Earth was always there, just not realized.

Deciding that is was good for him to go to school, Daniel was admitted to a high school nearby. He would go to school during the day and then train with his father and the team after he got off to learn and control his powers. This all seemed well for the first few months until his anger problems became apparent, getting suspended several times, joining the Yancy Street Gang, and even knocking out a gym teacher which led to expulsion. It was hard to understand how he could embody the calm, and lively traits of his mother but, also keep within the anger issues that he inherited from his father.

The following years were probably the most rough time that he had ever been through. First came the attack upon the Fantastic Four by the M.H.S. The Thing was able to at least get his son and wife away from the danger at the sacrifice of his own life. Using a stealth-based fantasti-car, they were able to safely escape, the only surviving member of the fantastic family. The car brought them to a safe place. For four years Ben has lived on the run, leaving his mother behind in safety, knowing that if he was to stay then she wouldn't be safe.

Currently Dan wants to meet with the X-men and join their cause in hopes to one day stop the UO and bring vengeance for the death of his family.
