Why was Jorick banned?
It isn't because he offended anyone or stepped out of SPAM with his douchebaggery or anything even remotely close. No, Jorick was banned on this day because of social injustice. He is being viewed as a criminal simply because he has done criminal things in the past. He was judged long before the offensive tentacle showed its slimy head.
What was the situation?
VSlayer, whom I do not believe should be banned either, posted a picture of someone's artistic creation. It was crude, but it was artistic. Jorick could not help but one up her flare. I feel most of us can agree we have found ourselves in similar positions, staring at someone's emotigif and thinking, I can do better than that! Well he did. His tentacle was artistic hand blown glass and could have resembled many things beyond the sexual implication that the thread (or the mods) placed upon it. The other offensive tentacle was much less artistic and much more trapped into a sexual sublimation of tentacle.
Why should this should bother us?
This is SPAM. In spam we have an understanding about filth and about depravity and we have agreed not to spill this filth out onto the rest of the website, but I do think this should allow for us to have a little bit of freedom. I also understand that the mods need to slap at us every once in awhile or we would get out of control, but when the offense is mainly someone else (*coughsorryvslayercough*) and then Jorick gets slapped with a 6 day ban I feel the need to say this is ridiculous. 6 days? Seriously? They have commercials for personal massagers and his/her lube on primetime television. I think the kids can handle a rather well made hand blown glass tentacle.

We did not "sort" this!?! There is no sorting out of social injustice until the wrongfully accused are acquitted and reinstated, possibly with an offer of cookies so they do not sue for emotional scaring. You all have just rolled over and accepted when the man says that you are wrong, or this is wrong, then it just is! But I refuse to be tainted with the idea that hand blown glass art is wrong or criminal. There is a person somewhere who is amazingly talented and spent a lot of time to create that beautiful tentacle.
