to [Advanced] Vampire Hunters/Slice of Life (MxF or FxF)

I'm all full now. If you would like to hold a spot incase one drops, feel free to PM and let me know, but I will not be taking on anymore until one drops.

So, lately I've been reading and watching a lot of old 1700s/1800s Vampire hunter/vampire/werewolf media. It's gotten me in a mood. By "slice of life" I mean, the RP will be about more than just one big hunt. I want it to be about two supernatural (presumably vampire/werewolf, but whatever) hunters and their lives. So, although "slice of life" usually means "mundane modern stories about the day-to-day" this instance it means "story about a hunter's day-to-day". More about the idea below, first we have to do the compatability match part!

    About me:

In this role-play I will be playing a female hunter, roughly the age of 22-24. You may play male or female, whichever. Most of my roleplays lean towards romance at some point (usually a bit later, and usually after a lot of turmoil). I am fine with fxf romance, but I have never done it before, as a warning. But I would like to try it, so if you like fxf, don't be scared off! Side characters are very common in my writing. When you read a book or watch a film, it is very rarely about only two people. So, I use NPCs or side charries to spice things up and add to the story. Ideally, you will too.

I'm a high-casual to advanced writer. I like 3+ paragraphs per post typically. And a paragraph is usually between 4-6 sentences, not two, and certainly not your entire post. Just sayin'. Usually, I return what I'm given. Also, please write in third person, past tense. It makes it less painful to read. If you don't, I won't reply. As an example, that's "he went into the market" not "he goes into the market" and certainly not "I am going into the market."

As far as maturity, I have no problem with sex, swearing, gore, violence, drinking and drug usage, that sort of stuff. As this IS a vampire RP, you really, really shouldn't have problems with these, either. As far as sexual maturity, granted that this rp goes there, we can fade to black or not. Doesn't much matter, whatever you're comfortable with.

I like communication. I like to chat future events. I like chatting hypothetical events that will likely NEVER come up in the story, but are amusing to talk about. I like to plot, I like to BS. RPing with people who post without any communication ever is just awkward and robotic, and I'll likely lose interest. Fast. I like to plot posts and events together, and work things out. It makes the RP much better in my opinion.

As a warning, I'm a very fickle being. Within one to five posts, I can tell if a RP will last. If the spark isn't there, it just isn't. People have likes and dislikes, and I have no problem bidding farewell if it isn't working for either of us. You should, too. On that note, I don't like broody, whiny, teen-melo-drama-inthewrongplace character crap. You're a frickin vamp hunter, don't whine.

Now, for how often to post. I don't really have a time table. Sometimes, I post often. Sometimes, I'm really just not feeling it. It just depends on my mood, and how excited I am over the rp. I likely won't post every day. Feel free to nag me. Bitch, moan, throw a hissy. It works. But, be forewarned I just won't be doing it every day.

I prefer PM, but can do thread, too. Whichever you prefer, really. I don't do e-mail or IM RPing. At all.

Alright, if you read all that and are still interested, yay!

I don't have much developed for this RP yet. Why? Because it's mostly character-based, and can't be devised until there are two players. But, basically, I want it to be anywhere from 1600s - Victorian era. Basically the story of two hunters, and their relationship through the struggles of long-distance friendship in the days before Facebook. The story would ideally take place over several years, molding around their times together and apart. There would be plenty of action sequences of them on dual hunts, and some down-time friendly bonding times. Just a good ol' buddy RP that happens to involve, you know, the occasional werewolf trying to bite your face off.

I would like to have it eventually come down to a heart-wrenching end, because, let's face it, RPs that end happy are so overrated. So, you know, one of them being killed or turned and the other having to kill him/her or let them go and never see them again or something equally depressing, because that's how I roll. But this is negotiable. Maybe.

Don't know what else to say about it. It's very open and adaptable for whatever character decides to join mine.

Can contain light Steampunk for weaponry and the like. Just wanna throw that out there. But no airships and stuff, still want it kinda realistic. As realistic as a story about vampire hunting buddies using steamweapons can be, at least...

I'll be taking on a few of these. And I would like one FxF if possible.

If you think we'd mesh but don't want the hunter plot, here is some more stuff I'm into and a few old plots:
