(Changed, again.)
Mkay, so I'm going through and changing my first post again, just to put more specifics into what I'm looking for, what I'm interested, etc.
First of all, post lengths/literacy. I'm looking for anything from casual to advanced roleplay, meaning from one paragraph to multiples. Of course, it all really depends on how much content we give each other to bounce off of, so if you give me something, then I will try my hardest to match it. I understand writer's block or that sometimes, your heart's just not into it, but don't make it a one-liner. Please. Please. Well, unless it's a casual - defined by me as a short paragraph per post. Then it's okay sometimes. On the literacy note, an ideal partner for me is able to use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. I do not want to have to take the time and decipher what you are trying to say because you misspelled things, forgot or misplaced a comma, what have you. No.
Normally, I look to do fantasy settings, involving things like witches, vampires, shifters, elves, etc. It's just easier - and much more fun - to write in fantasy settings/plots rather than slice-of-life sort of things. Plus, the research that goes into making my characters makes my life and imagination much more interesting. I'm not limited in genres, but I've found that I do a lot of action, drama, and romance (especially this.) Original plotlines are preferred, but I will do fandoms. Very few fandoms, but the list might expand. They are as follows:
- Pokemon (<3)
- Underworld (as of the editing of this post, I just watched the newest movie last night, and while I suppose it would probably just turn into an original vampire plot in the end, I'd still like to retain some of the history)
- D.Gray-man
Yup. Make what you will of that. Like I said above, the list might expand, but it also might not. I also am not averted to doing mature scenes in the RP. No, I am not asking for complete smut. But, as most romances go...yeah.
Umm, hmm. What's next? Oh! Obviously, we are all here roleplay, so the most likely home for our roleplay would be here, on Roleplayer Guild. However, I do have a Skype account set up for roleplaying only, and as opposed to most other messenger programs, it doesn't have a character limit (as far as I know. One of my close friends and I RP over Skype and we haven't hit a limit yet, so who knows.)
I do have a life, and I do have priorities. If I do start an RP with you and I tell you that I can't continue with it at the moment, it's probably me and my busy life. Please do keep in mind that I begin my spring semester this Wednesday (January 25), and I'm going through a lot of academic changes (changing my second major (I'm doubling), making sure I can actually get into it because it's a limited enrollment at my school, etc.) I'll definitely let you know whether I can't continue or if I'll be inactive, but please just bear with me. I'll be up until 12 AM EST at the latest because I have classes I'm required to go to every morning at 9/9:30. I'm also part of a performing ensemble this semester, and I hope to continue with it while I'm in college, so that requires that I be at scheduled rehearsals at least once a week, any and all performances, all that good stuff.
