possibly, i may go for a Dominion War RP, or maybe even a future of my own design.

A military-based one, I presume? I mean, it's not like Star Trek is based off of...exploration of the galaxy! Oh no...

i was hoping to do an Exploration one, actually, but i suspected that everyone wanted a military based one.

i was thinking of something like Voyager, but instead of the Delta Quadrant, they go to another Galaxy... maybe...

i would still like to do an exploration based RP, i have so many idea's for places they can visit:

• they find the people who built Tinman
• they find a lost Klingon Colony where they still suffer from the smoothhead disease
• they travel back in time to prevent the assisination of Spock
• they travel to Fluidic Space in an attempt to make peace between the Federation and Species 8472
• they travel to the Mirror Universe, where they try to make peace between the Rebels and the Alliance.

and that is just off the top of my head.

ok, before i make an OOC, we need a ship, this is just after the Dominion War, so, i have narrowed it down to these:

U.S.S. Shogun: A ship with a history, originally a part of the 7th Fleet, she fought at the Battle of Tyra, though the battle was a major defeat, it was thanks to her captain taking command after the admiral's flagship was lost that any of the survivors made it home. She was then assigned to the First Fleet and was there at the defense of Earth, she was crippled by the Breen but was still able to destroy one of their ships before being disabled. She served out the rest of the War in Drydock, she's now back to her old duties of Exploration.

U.S.S. Pioneer one of the first Sovereigns to roll off of the production line, she was built to fight a war that was already over by the time she saw the light of day. the Pioneer is now the first in a new line of Starships to set off to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no-man has gone before.

U.S.S. Yggdrasil: one of the few Excelsiors to survive the Dominion War, she was crippled during a battle with the Breen and was forced to dump the Warp Core and take refuge in a Nebula, she managed to jump a passing Breen Ship and disable her, they then installed the Breen Warp Core and E.M.P. cannon, they were allowed to keep this as part of the War Reperations. attempts to recreate it have been... less than successful, it appears that only the Breen Warp Core is compatible with it.

U.S.S. Apollo: Because of the success of the Defiant during the Dominion War, the new Vigilant Class was put into production, the Apollo has been fitted with a lot more creature comforts than the Defiants in order to allow her to serve better for Exploration. This means that she is much larger than the Defiant, but thanks to the new SCRAM drive that was designed for her, she is just as versatile as her predecessor.
