The Legend of Draight

[Having finished the CS, I find myself worried that it may appear I included 'too many' things, But nothing is to an extreme degree and as it happens most of it I actually 'have' done, so I 'know' it's not too far out for a character based on reality XD]





Who knows, it may be a bit cliche, but I figured given the 'real world' theme for starting this off, I'd base the CS off myself in a number of ways =P


Name - Sean Grayson
Nicknames - Red, Fluffy [Don't ask XD], Snitch
Age - 17
Gender - Male [And proud of it]

Appearance - He is approximately 6'2", weighs 220 pounds, his body type being a balance between both Fat and muscle, he has the 'lazy lifestyle' but is stronger than he looks. He is fairly pale skinned, freckled, and has long straight red hair, fitting the description of an 'irish ginger', though he has no problem with his appearance personally, he detests being 'called' ginger. His eyes stand out a bit though, being a mix of 4 different colors, green, blue, gold, and red, in a sort of circule sunburst pattern. [but you have to be close to notice the distinction between colors]

He has a preference for large clothing, trench-coats, boots, Sweat pants, Baggy long sleeved shirts, gloves, Sunglasses, and for some strange reason amongst all this and his favor for red and black cloths, he wears a straw hat, not something expected given his typical dress.

He also has a fascination with swords, guns, and numerous other types of weapons, and when allowed he'll tend to wear a sword in some way, if only it were permitted in school, the thought is always quite exciting, but regardless, he also has several knives of different types on his person and a taser hidden in his laptop case, and if very attentive about keeping them believably secret. [very paranoid about being unarmed in public when something 'goes wrong'.]

Funny enough, a friend once described him as having the rage of an irish man, and the look of a Norse-man [when he doesn't shave frequently]


Personality - Well, I'm terrible at 'defining' personality when it's based off of myself, as I can never tell what I'm going to do in a certain situation ahead of time, I can of course put a bit of info in here for fun XD

He normally portrays himself as the quiet observer type, favoring seeing the truth of a situation rather than joining in the heated foolery of argument. He's also got a good few unusual philosophies on a number of things, enough to get him harrassed by 'the ones who think their superior' [you know, jocks and such].

He's known to lack sexual attraction to either Gender, officially, but his orientation, among other things, are part of his resevoir of secrets, something he's very good at 'keeping' secret. He is also the type to sit quietly in the back of the room and observe everyone else present, later leaving a little note for the teacher on who was especially acting up... the reason for one of his nicknames.

He's also known to be a 'child of the modern age', in that he always has a laptop with him, even if he's not allowed to use it, he'll still carry it around with him in a briefcase as though he were the president with a code case chained to his wrist, certainly paranoid about someone stealing it. In addition to being a computer phreak, he is also a Game nut, the type that stresses that useful things 'can' be learned from games if you know how to see past fancy graphics and gimmicky gameplay.

He also 'likes' to look like one of those types who will 'snap' and start killing people if bullied hard enough, and utilizes this image as a peaceful tactic to avoid being troubled by stuck up bullies, and [true story] has even learned to utilize 'the stare', once used to urge a group of several to back off.






Short History - Not much considered 'amazing' to speak off, He spends the majority of his time at home with his laptop, going to town on the legion of games he's acquired, writing stuff, or chatting with close friends of his online.

Aside from that, He doesn't really 'show' anything too special about himself, at least not often or openly, as thought he prefers keeping his skills a secret. He has 'the irish ire', so to speak, and despite being a typical gamer boy, he is known to Sock someone for disrespecting him too much... Or throw a desk, and his 'history' is riddled with visits to the principles office... Their very close actually.

He finds himself resenting much of humanity, though not in the sense of being obssessed with death or anything, in the sense that he believes 'most' are corrupt, greedy, or satisfied with being grains of sand under the corporate and governmental boot... that or brainwashed by some control phreak religion... that too, He denies modern religions, and tends to prefer imagining the scientific theories 'behind' them.


He is of Irish decent on one side of his family, and recently discovered that on the other side of his family he is descended from Edward Teach, better known as black beard [I shit you not XD], though despite this he is 'not' obssessed with some fabled lost treasure hidden somewhere.






Likes and Interests - Games, Computers, Guns, Bladed objects, Artillery, Math, Science, Technology, Invention [he loves using his imagination to create things], Swordplay, Martial Arts,


General Dislikes - Bullies, Disrespect, Feminists, Excessively ugly things [not like 'nerdy' ugly, but like, who replaced your face with tree-bark kind of ugly.], 'entitlement' [He'd love to bash a stuck up noble in the face XD], Senseless violence, Unecisary descrimination/Racism/Specism and so on.


Other - (Did I forget something? Put that here.)

He has practiced Tae Kwan Do up to the 5th level [out of I think like 20], And enjoys the bruce lee phylosophy on martial arts, being that all styles contribute something useful, and that kung fu can be a part of life, though he has not practiced in depth physically, only mentally.

He has practiced rifle and crossbow use to a moderate degree, as well as knife and swordplay, though again, as more of a hobby than life saving skills.

He is incredibly fascinated by magic and otherworldly or supernatural things, and has a number of books that he frequently carries around with him. He also has a certain illegal in america book shall not be named =P

He has an all-range wireless connector for his laptop, as well as a solar adaptor to help sustain battery life and recharge when it is in sleep mode. He has a laptop case with a number of pockets, padding, and reinforced frame, used more like his 'book bag' than an actual bag would be, and tends to have a knife and taser hidden in one of the pockets.




Writing Sample - [oh the rants I could put here XD But I think I'd rather use a decription of an odd dream instead =3]


It was strange, feeling the sudden compellment to move to the window, something he didn't exactly have a habit of doing for the hell of it, but something in the back of his mind demanded to do so now. As such he made his way over to the large bay window of the living room, slid the blinds to the side, and found himself looking upon a scene that would frighten most people to the point of weapons and 911 calls.

Beyond the window it was night, late enough that it would be pitch black were it not for the large, bright, and perfectly full moon glaring at him in the sky. What was more fascinating however was what the moon was illuminating, a small pack of wolves scattered about the garden outside the house, each one staring him the eyes as if waiting, and despite being a situation that would send most into fits of fright, he felt an oddly calm sensation, as though they were waiting for him to join them peacefully.

With exactly that course of action in mind, he headed for his bed-room to put on shoes so that he could leave, sitting hunched on his bed in the middle of the act when a hooded figure simply materialized from a shadowed corner of the already dark room and charged at him. In a fit of instinct he was on his feet and grappling with something that looked to be made of darkness in a humanoid shape, struggling to ensure against harm to himself, managing to strike away his assailants hood in the fight, only to find himself looking at a familiar face. Moments later this aparition realized it had been revealed and vanished as though it never were, and leading him to awaken mere moments later, into another much more frightful situation.

Despite now being awake, he found himself staring into the eyes of some creature, semi transparent, forceful, and mere inches away. He found his body unable to move as well, nothing would react, not a push away, nor a defensive swing, not even an errant twitch would come to him until the glaring aparition vanished from his vision. His physical control returned as peacefully as if nothing happened, no cold sweat or sudden up-right start, just... a sudden return to normality, and soon a return to sound sleep.

funny enough, Writing samples are iffy for 'me', because my writing style depends on a bunch of different factors, like how immersed I feel at the time of postiong, excitement level, RL interuption frequency, 'ideas' I might have XD I change a lot o.o but usually try to keep up a moderate standard 'at least' xD
