"Unfortunately my mother and father passed away quite a few years ago..." Ezzak looked crestfallen for a moment, "But that also means there's a room for the two of you to stay in if you both wish to"

Was it really right for him to deceive them? He wasn't outright lying, but he wasn't quite telling the truth either. Hopefully they wouldn't notice that he was dodging most of their questions. And if they accepted, what would he say to them when they went to the farm? He wasn't thinking clearly about any of this, but does anyone ever say the truth when they hire someone? Do recruiters tell soldiers of the horrors they will see? No of course not, they only speak of the glory and adventure in serving their military. Still, deceiving them wasn't making it any easier for Ezzak to continue on with a weak facade.

"I can guarantee that you both will be fine. You can quite at anytime you wish". He just hoped they wouldn't just quit out on him in a heartbeat. He wouldn't blame them though. Sometimes he wished that he quit long ago.

Vaka was on her hands and knees trying to find the old bottle of tequila and glass for the rock being that was hidden and was finally able to find it. Grabbing a tray to clear the bar from another round of empty glasses once Leo had returned also passing off the large glass to him for the spring water. She kept a wary eye on the whole facility tonight, there were more odd beings in here than regularly for the night before a race. Once she got to the area around the elemental being that had flipped the fool over on a table she rested the tray on her hip and asked him, "Would you like a drink or silence?"

    Flare chuckled.
"Fiesty and untrusting. Nice. I like someone like that. I am sorry about the formalities, I just did not know how someone of your species would react to my forthcoming."
Flare held up his hand as he made a small wind ball in his palm, then changed it to earth, then water. Then, it vanished and electricity ran across his hand, followed by a vine, that quickly turned into a laser. The red light then turned white, then black, then an oddish green. Finally, he shrouded his hand in fire, eventually causing it to completely be flame, not just a hand covered in fire.
"You see, over my journeys, I have aquired abilties, and have been searching for a way to teach the masses how to unlock their inner abilities."
He saw that he was making a bit of progress with the other man and continued.
"A war is now about to break loose between the Light and Dark Planets."
He stopped the other before he could speak.
"I know, this is common, but this is a war unlike any others. This is a war to end all wars and bring about the manifestation of all abilities, dangerous or not."

Prism looked around warily at the over-grounders. He didn't trust them. He had not really known any, except random miners he had met wandering around underground. He kept his crystals at the ready on his arms, downing the springwater he had been given. He noticed a nice-looking light show going on in the corner of the bar, but he ignored it. More soft-flesh subtlety. Can't be trusted.

She swiftly brought her long hair into a messy bun while she nodded to a cougar and her boy of the evening as they ordered another round of drinks. "I will get back to you then" she said with a curt nod to the being before her, a small voice in the back of her mind laughed at in wonder to think that the Neo had tried to steal all that wealth from him, he was a down right fool to act the way he had. She then made her way back to the bar to drop off the empties and fill the orders for the cougar and toy.

Another day for Kenchu as he runs from the thugs of North Urth, he was smiling because of the fact that they could never catch him. The reason all of that started was because he saw the thugs mugging a innocent woman, he had no choice but to draw them away from her so she could get away."Hey you punks! I never knew that you guys were that much of a weaklings to pick on someone who weaker then you." He said as they blow him off" Scram you brat, leave us adults alone." They said mocking him. Kenchu vessel was showing on his head, obliviously mad that they called him a kid." You guys say your adults....but yet you still haven't grown balls like the big boys" he said to them."what did you say kid?" The leading thug ask as his tone gets furious." I said you don't have any balls! You guys are so weak a bet that lady can beat you people blinded." They pushed the girl to the ground and chase after Kenchu. Back on we're they left off he was smilling still mocking them, he trips and gets worried for a bit."We got you now you little shit!" Some lady about to do her Laundry in the old fashion apartments sees what's going on downstairs, so she toss her bed sheets to temporary blind the" Run young man!" She yells out to him. He smiles as he runs away he yells his thanks before he get away, he keeps running until he heads inside the Raging Boar. "I think....I'll just hide here for awhile." Says to himself panting and out of breath, he walks over to the bar and takes a seat."May I help you?" The bartender ask young Kenchu." Some water please" he replies and the bartender gives him the water and he drinks some." Are you ok young man?" The bartender ask out of curiosity, since he saw him panting and sweating."Yeah...I'm ok thanks for asking." He said to the bartender, the man go does his job as he sits there, catching his breath.

Elmyra's instincts were blurred by the liquor but she followed the Monk's words to the elemental. She jumped back in surprise. "An elemental? Oh my..." She felt a shiver go down her spine as through the people she heard whispers. "What is going on here? What are you talking about a king, Monk? You must be highly intoxicated as I am if you are speaking nonsense like that." The room was tilting to one side as she put her hand defensively on her bow. "Who are you and what do you want, you strange creature? Her hands shook from nervousness but she was prepared for the elemental's answer. Her eyes traveled around the room in case it was an ambush of some sort but only saw the drunken folk.

Caiden shivered in the breeze and pulled her sweater tighter around her. "Stupid. Just stupid," she mumbled to herself. She had took her sister's advice, and now she was standing out in the street all alone, looking foolish. "I should've just stayed home."

Another breeze passed by and Caiden groaned, violet eyes squinting hard against the wind. For about the millionth time, she looked back in the direction in which she came. There was still time to turn around, wasn't there? Plus from what she could hear outside, there seemed to be some commotion going on inside, and she definitely didn't want to get wrapped up in it.

On the other hand, she could just leave and go back to the safety of her room, and listen to her sister taunt her endlessly about how she was afraid to go into a bar. A bar! Her own little sister would tear her down and make her feel childish.

Caidyn stood there watching as a man walked right by her and inside. She frowned, took another look back, and went in aswell.

Seras stumbled into the bar, tired and groggy, looking for a drink. She took a seat, laying her ebony wood staff next to her. Looking at the other people in the bar, she noticed many different races of people. "Hmm. Isn't this nice." She thought to herself.

"Who we are I'll never know
But when we spoke I knew you well
    You knew me well
You loved me through and through
I never thought I would watch you leave us
From a room as a kid I held so close
I was a son made up on sand
You were the wind that let me go
    I'll say goodbye
    So this is goodbye
    But I'm afraid to speak
So with words I'll tell the story
You meant so much to me
And like the night upon nights to come
    I will dream of you
And know that I will see you seen
Give me the strength to carry on!
    Tide!
    You are the ocean tide!
    The swells swept you away
I was a son made of sand
You were the wind that let me go
When the ocean tide has risen to high
And the waters have come to carry you away
Remember I will always be there to sing you to sleep....."

Erikr smiled from his seat in the corner. The shadows in the well lit bar did nothing to help him hide, so instead he faced down trying to hide his white eyes. He had been listening to all conversation, great and small. Many overestimated themselves, many underestimated themselves. Some were confused, some didn't care. The uknown speicies intrigued Erikr. This is a mystery, one he would gladly unravel.
    .
But something perterbed him. This Flare Firepower. How did he know about the impending war between the light and the dark? Open war had yet to be declared, but negotiations were going badly. Yet even then he did not believe the war would be that dangerous, it should merely consume a handful of worlds.
    .
Raising his voice, he stared pupilessly at Flare and said "What know you of my people?"
He stood and walked towards the man, ignoring the stare of every other patron on his way. He grabbed a chair from a table that was nearly full of people and sat across from Flare. "My tribes have fought and died for the priests of light for a time beyond counting. Yet we know little of them, and you presume to?"
