The tragedy of having repressed memories is unfortunate. Kuraudo's motivation, the drive to uphold the security of his friends, became hollow. Like something drilled a hole in his brain and siphoned his thoughts. But subconsciously, he feels that he should keep fighting. An impulse that urges him on and pass through the gateway. He travels the wormhole of time and space, leading to his final destination.
In a new world, amidst a vast plateau, the interdimensional gate appears. It erects itself from the ground as Kuraudo emerges from the portal. He looks around, beholding a place with larger than life creations. Such as the mountains stretching deep into a sunning backdrop. Below the sierra is a grandiose pasture, filled with floras of many types. Roses, chrysanthemums, lilies, tulips and daisies just to name a few. Like mosiac art, they all season the land with a multitude of colours. To his left is the start of the timberlands. A family of giant oaks that hides the foot of the alps. Just at his dexter, a hundred yards away, is a lofty structure known as the East Tower. It's one of two posts overseeing a city left in ruins.
Kuraudo enters the city that's been brought down by a calamitous fire. A war, or something of great misfortune, wrought the borough from its heyday. It left only wrecked buildings and rumble-covered streets in its wake. And seeing the downfall of a once prosperous civilization incites a woe of his own. The day that Nibelheim, his hometown, was purged by his nemesis. He felt sympathetic for a moment, understanding what the people might have experienced in their perils. Though shortly after, Kuraudo muster up his will to press onward with his journey.
He hikes over the debris parched by extinguished flames from fled times. Three blocks later, the ex-SOLDIER reaches the tower. He approaches the doorway and grabs the knob with his right hand. As soon as he opens the door, there will be no turning back.
