Double Posting

I've been having this problem for a while now. At first it went away, but now it's back. When I post something, sometimes I get this message:

And so I click, leave this page.
Then it gives me a double post. (Though it is seperated by the - - - update - - - message.) So I have to go back and edit it so I don't have the same thing posted twice.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

That also happens to me quite often. I always assumed it was just my internet doing that.

What browser are you using?

I also use Chrome.
Maybe it's a Chrome issue instead?
If we knew of others having the problem, we may be able to tell. xD

It's not as much of Chrome issue as it is a connection issue.

A connection issue? I guess it could be. Internet over here isn't all that good most days, so I really don't notice unless it gets really really slow.



Guess I'll just live with it then.

Yup, it's a connection issue. I use Firefox and it happens to me too when my internet is laggy.

Lol that ain't even it. I'm surprised that some of the more older members didn't catch onto it. It's something within the site to prevent instant-DP. If you wait about 10 minutes after your last post, you'll be able to double post.

Except they were talking about it posting the same exact message twice, as in they write the post and hit submit and then when the page refreshes they have their post, then the update line thing, then the same exact post under the line. That's caused by the double post prevention, yes, but the double posting is due to a laggy internet connection.
