Survival of the Fittest [IC]

Will shook his head, reaching out to grab the man by the front of his shirt and heave him up a bit, putting his face, crooked grin and all, within inches of the other mans.
"I'll focus on what I wish, yeah? Now, let's answer that second question again, with as much honesty as you can find in that rock you call a mind. Why are we all stuck here?"
Damn. For a short kid, he knew how to seem threatening. His face had gone blank when he asked the question, no emotion showed. It was as if he didn't care for the hunters life at all. He was nothing to him, just a person that might know something that interests him. One among hundreds that knew the same thing. If he didn't answer- Will could just ask the next guy he ran into.
That was how little the hunter meant to Will, and it was clear in both his tone and face. And probably by the firm but careless hold on the mans collar.

"I don't like that insolent tone, good sir." he retorted "And if I knew anything, well, I'm fairly certain I would've told you already." He raised his eyebrows at the man. "Besides, even if you knew, it wouldn't change the fact that most likely..." he paused, probably for effect. "None of you will survive." though fear twinged inside of him, Zaroff was being fairly honest with the group.

Tuesdaih's breathing was faint, but still there. She blinked slowly, her head on Kira's shoulder, her world blurry. She couldn't feel pain, couldn't remember what was happening....

Kira was suddenly filled with anger, he and the other hunters had injured Tuesdaih. And she needed to know why. She picked up the gun lying on the floor and pointed it at the hunter, 'ANSWER US. WHY ARE WE HERE, WHY?' Shouted Kira.

Will sighed, giving the man a good shove back onto his back and standing, crossing his arms loosely.
"Calm down, lass... He's being honest, even if he is a smartass. He doesn't know. Oh, and big man-"
He returned his gaze to the hunter on the ground, the amused grin playing at his features again.
"We won't die here, actually. You might, we won't. And if we do, so will you. So be good and careful about judging a group of men and women's capabilities of survival. Right?"
He chuckled, waiting to see if the girl blew his brains out or not.

Kira had a mixed feelings now, anger, despair and sadness, but she determined to bottle it up and keep it from sight. She just crouched down to Tuesdaih and sat next to her, she was going to stay and protect her at all costs, no one would touch her.

"Glad to see someone listen to reason." Zaroff added. He looked at each survivor individually, waiting. not really in a position to say much. He thought about everything that happened in such a short amount of time, commending Tuesdaih for her bravery.

Eddie stroked Tuesdaih’s hair and cheek and watched closely as Kira took the hand gun and pointed it at the hunter demanding answers. Eddie was disappointed when she came and sat down next to him without finding anything out. Feeling that there was nothing he could do for Tuesdaih at the moment he stood up and took the gun back from Kira tucking it into his pants. Following Kiras lead, but determined to get some answers about why the hell he was brought here Eddie walks over to the hunter and kicks him hard in the ribs. “Play time is over” he tells the hunter as he pulls him to his feet.

Eddie pushes the hunter over toward John who he knows has a hunting knife. “Hey John, get your knife out” says Eddie who grabs the hunter by the throat choking him slightly. “Your gonna tell us what we want to know or your about to start losing body parts” says Eddie fiercely as he stares into the mans eyes. “What is the goal of this little game, and why was I brought here? I was leaving my night club and the next thing I know I am getting stuck with a damn.” Stopping in mid sentence Eddie remembers that they were implanted with a tracking device. So that’s how the hunters keep finding them.

Eddie takes off his shirt and throws it on the ground then puts his back toward John. Having no choice but to trust the stranger Eddie looking toward Tuesdaih asks John to cut the tracking device out of his shoulder.

Zaroff coughed loudly. "Again, if I knew I would TELL you!" He twitched, and then scoffed "We can still find you, even without those trackers. Every master hunter can." He smiled a bit. He looked at John "What do you say?"

Finally, Tuesdaih was able to sit up. Her bravery had been stupid, and reckless. She left herself bad injured, and barely able to wiggle her fingers. After sitting up, she feebly reached for Eddie. "You can't cut it out." she rasped. "It will only regenerate your skin....You can't get rid of it..." She leaned helplessly against Kira, her eyes closing for a moment.
