Name: Victoria Lancaster
Home Country: Britain
Born from a relatively poor background in London, a mechanic and a nurse, she had the luck to be an excellent student although this also came with poor social skills and the development of a generally arrogant attitude toward the uneducated. This of course did not go well with her family which had a general poor opinion of the highly educated looking down on common folks like them. When she was of age, Victoria went to Oxford with only the clothes on her back and government subsidies to finance her studies, only going back to her family sporadically for Christmas and other celebration. Soon enough, she finished her studies, gaining a Master’s in Zoology, Valedictorian of her program.
Despite her excellent grades, fact was that there were not a whole lot of jobs in her field and she was all out of cash to pay her student loan. Rather than doing like everybody else and get a minimum wage job, not even saying she could have found one with all the Irish immigrants coming after the civil war, she decided to have a more honorable work and joined the Army, the UNs Mecha Corps to be more precise. It was her intention to steamroll over the tests and training to then be made an officer but her ambitions were quickly halted when after she aced the intellectual tests and in general had a good control of her mecha in simulations, failed her physicals quite miserably. With that, she was sent straight to the reserve. Finding this very insulting, Victoria almost considered quitting, but her debts kept her here. Truth is, she was almost thrown out of the Army altogether due to notes on her psychological report: Arrogance, incapacity to take orders, commanding and in general anti-social with people, in short, not having the attitude of a soldier.
