Gabriel was lazily watching the small TV in the basement he and a few of the others were holed up in for the last few days. He was waiting for orders from Remy, something to do. He wanted to get back to the others, and continue to battle against the UO. He sighed, as there were footage of destruction in Europe, apparently caused by the mutants, that had been stopped by the M.H.S in Germany. Gabriel scoffed. "More like them protecting themselves.." He mumbled. As Lorna peaked out of the tiny-kitchen room, where she had been doing the dishes. "What's that, Gabriel?" Lorna asked him, with a light chuckle.
Gabriel found the woman with Green hair amusing, she was nice ,friendly and knew how to keep things together. She took care of the young mutants, kept them fed, and kept them safe. She was the serious counter-part to Remy's goofyness. You'd rarely hear Lorna be comically witty, if she ever said something turely hilarious, it would've been soaked in irony. " Oh, nothing, Dale." Gabriel responded. He turned off the TV as he looked at the watch around his wrist. Remy should get here soon, from one of his supplies runs. Gabriel nodded to Lorna, that he'd go out and look over the perimeters, they were just a few clicks away from a city, and where there are humans, there are soldiers, Gabriel thought to himself, with a light sigh, as he saw the run-down Toyota Supra pull up the road, he hunched down, as he picked up a pair of binocoloars that hung by his side, and looked at the car, he knew it was Remy's car, but he had to be sure, better safe than sorry, and all that.
He saw that Remy was driving, and that a girl was riding shotgun. Oh great. Gabriel thought, as he turned around, and got back into the basement. "Where's Buddy? Remy's back, he brought a girl with him, apparently." Gabriel told Lorna, whom turned around. " A girl?" She asked rather quickly.
Gabriel knew they'd have to move in a few hours, Nevada wasn't far away. They'd get back to base and pick up the rest of their supplies, before they'd set off, to try and find 'Vegas'. Gabriel was doubtful that Vegas even exists, but he was hopeful, he had to be.
