Hyeh... So I've had this idea running around my head for quite some time. I have a ton of stuff planned out, stuff I can't tell you unless you become one of the roleplayers, and even then you'd have to wait till it comes around the corner. I give you warning I am -not- the most organized person on this site (My life is a bitch), nor can I post -every- week, so I'm not gonna ask the people in this RP to speed their posting up. Do to the scale of the plot however, I doubt that anyone would -want- to speed up, cause they might just miss something. Also, forgive me and my typos, I type fast and am a little spastic.

If you knew me, you'd realize this is -not- your average Apocalyptic roleplay
Character Ages:
15-21
I realize some do not like roleplaying teenagers, or rather younger ones. The age has nothing to do with "drama" between characters, but each character is -required- to be living with their current parent/guardian.
Setting:
Present day America. Begins in a large urban/suburban area, along with several surrounding towns. As the roleplay goes on we shall be living in, and visiting, various "voids", cities, climates, landmarks, and even afterlives.
Plot:
So yeah, your life? It's about to be stolen away from you. Everything you ever loved, cared for, is going to be destroyed, obliterated even, by the same creatures who have poisoned the minds of your race since the beginning of time. Demons. People have always been mislead into thinking demons can't physically hurt you, that all they are is some children's tale, the make-believe creatures of various religions around the world. but the sad truth is? They've slaughtered us before. Humanity in general is in a terrible cycle of death and birth, that we don't even know about. Each time we're reborn, we try to remember what happened in the last earth. The burning, slaughtering, the possessions. We try to remember why the beings of Gehenna HATE us, we try to remember that they are -constantly- trying to rip our world away from us. We try to remember, that we are not safe, that one day they will come back again in a plague. That they would rip our lives from us, that they would take our bodies, that they would -become- a sick, twisted version of us, and live in this earth as true living beings. We always forget, always, so it will -again- shock us to our core, this year is their year, and they will slaughter us again.
As the story opens up, the world is slowly going into chaos. Economies are crashing, governments are overturning, climates are being thrown out of whack. People are listening to that small voice telling them to do sick, disturbing things. People see this, but they are powerless to bring change. The sky eventually turns red worldwide, religions are shouting for repentance, scientists are going insane with the unexplained phenomena. To be coupled with this chaos, outbreaks of random static bursts in the air are causing strange things to happen to the places they appear in. People start dying immediately, dropping like flies do to "accidents." But their bodies resurrect themselves and begin acting strange. Not zombies mind you, they're to intelligent, and their wounds immediately begin to heal. Strange darkness spreads around them, killing everything living, plants and animals, and resurrecting the 'husks' into darker versions of their former selves. People call it "The Second Black Plague." The truth behind the matter is the walls blocking the demon world Gehenna are beginning to crumble and evil spirits are pouring in through these static bursts and outbreaks of "The Plague."
A hope is still there.
To humanities ignorance. A place, hidden deep in a void, is working to help give humanity a new place to live, free of demons. They do it every time Gehenna explodes onto the earth, humanity just doesn't remember it. The name of the place is non-existent. But the inhabitants inside do have a name, "The Unborn." They are a race of humans, who were deprived of the right to live. They were all aborted, stillborn, and killed under the age of five. They go to this lace to live the lives they were hindered from living, but where they go it's a lot more peaceful. They are in direct communication with "The Nameless," or the creator of everything. He himself is forbidden from action without invitation, and can only work internally. He can't, and won't, protect humanity because of his own laws. It's not that he doesn't care, but he insists humans have the ability to protect themselves if they try.
The Unborn know how to protect humanity. It's a simple power that is hidden in seven humans for each generation where Gehenna strikes the world. It's known as "Virtue" and allows the seven to create a new earth by destroying the "Sins" that plague the old one. Or in short, the seven can create a new planet if they succeed in killing demons with an opposing power, or "Sin." But to do this, the seven first have to know who they are. This is the Unborn's responsibility to tell them, but they can't unless the seven are in their world. Sadly, the only way to enter the "void" of the unborn is to first die. Consequently, the Unborn ask the Nameless to instill a voice in at least one of them, so he may tell the others that they need to die.
Extra information:
-This roleplay will require -artistic- rendering of your character, and a certain "air" to your writing. To get maximum enjoyment you -really- need to be deeply understanding of your character and what is happening around them, there is no room for casually roleplaying this story.
-This story will require a mature mind. Horrible nasty things will happen. There will be killing, death, betrayal, espionage, and issues that i don't want to let you know yet. To put it simply, the story line SHOULD make you FEEL. (Like cry your eyes out cause you just saw what happened to your character or a friends). Characters psyche's will be tested, and the deep evils of humanity can and will be brought out.
-If i see a character archetype of any kind in character sheets later? I will personally murder you with all my possible powers over this fucking keyboard. This story is ORIGINAL, SO YOUR CHARACTER SHOULD BE TOO.
I.E.- No, "Grew up in an orphanage," "Raped by father," "High school Prom king/Queen," Etc. Some aspects of the archetypes are okaii, since they cover alot of things, but your character should be LARGELY original. (Disabilities are actually something -good,- but you won't have to deal with them after your character dies the first time. Yes I said the first time.
