    Battletech RP: The Clan Invasion

(April 15, 3005, on the world New Valencia)
It had been hundreds of years since anyone had came into the inner sphere, but now, the clan was preparing, sending out a batch of freebirths and Trueborns they were determined that it was time to fight against the inner sphere. But the Warden and Crusader clans however there was much dispute leading to a decision in how it would be done. There would be a large task force that would move in as mercenaries and fight, find out how the inner sphere ticked, and then report back. When it would be seen as time to attack, it was planned that they would leave the inner sphere, and join the Attacking Clan forces.

A man stood on top of platform speaking to a large group of Trueborns and mostly freebirths. "You have all decided to do a great service to the Clan!" he yelled as he looked out at the large group of people, "In doing so you show honor and loyalty!"

The man Cleared his breath for a second, "The wristbands you are wearing will allow you to contact each other and your Commanding Officer, but that is for later." He said as he pressed a button on his own wristpad, "If you look at it now you should be able to see the Ship in which you have been assigned! You need not worry about your Battlemechs as they have already been taken into each one." he said

"We have multiple contracts coming in, after the showing of what we could do by Jaime, and Joshua so there is no time for delay your commander already has your first assignment with them! Good luck, and fight with honor!" he said as he then saluted the crowd "For the clan!"

Charles Jennings looked over his lances databases as he sat in the war room of the ship. He had already appointed someone to point the crew in the direction of the war room.

"Great looks like we have a Falcon with us, this will be fun." he said into his wristband , "Well i guess it's better then nothing." Charles said as he looked over the list of people again as their pictures showed up in front of him.
    The names of:
    Felicia Pryde
    Territh
    Markus
    Jarric Amirault
    Bandy
    Dieter Klein

Another Commander commed in from another room "Well aren't you lucky my Lance has a bunch of freebirth swine, bah i give them a day." he said as Charles shrugged, "I don't mind freebirths, i think they can surprise you just you wait." He said as he turned the wristband off. He heard the cheering outside, So it begins, the battle for Terra, and the inner sphere don't even realize it. he thought to himself And now we wait for the warriors.

The cheering and the underlying mission was music to Felicia's ears. She moved through the crowd head held high. Her walk was steady with only a slight sway of her hips. She tugged her jacket making it fit more snug. As she walked into the war room she was checking her own wrist device. As she saw who was in charge she stopped dead in her tracks. "A wolf?!" Then she looked up and realized he was in the room. She gave a half hearted salute giving a snapping "Sir!" Before putting her hand down and taking a step towards him. "Felicia Pryde reporting." She went into a at ease waiting for some kind of command.

Territh weaved his way through the crowed of cheering pilots, offering nods to what little other Snow Raven pilots were chosen and laughed briefly with a few comrades that were assigned elsewhere. As they talked on his grin turned sad ,as he knew most of them would never return, shaking his head he banished this thought as it was replaced by an old memory "We are Darksky's Territh, though you may not share the name now, that means we value our comrades but we do not mourn their passing. Instead we celebrate what life they had." With this thought he laughed once more and bid his old comrades farewell. Moving forward he slid through the crowed to his assigned commander's station.

As he entered he briefly noticed the other pilot in the room as he continued up to Charles, politely waiting until the other pilot was done until he saluted and spoke "Sir. Territh reporting for duty, sir."

Cheering, claps, nods. Small things. Markus did not know if they were sincere or not, but, really. He didn't care. He wasn't here to put on a show, he was here to do a job. He was a bit tired- He didn't get much sleep last night, and today was a long day- A lot of walking and running around. It was clear from the bags under his eyes he had been up for a lot longer then he should, but he tried his best to hide it behind a smile and a wave at the pilots nearby. He was a rarity. Sea Foxes were not known for their wide numbers, not that anyone cared. He knew he would probably not be coming back from this, but really, it didn't matter. Nothing really mattered to Markus anymore. Every day was a drag on dull, and he lusted for action in his life, even if it meant going up against a suicide mission.

He walked up to the Charles, taking stance next to the others and saluting. "Markus reporting for duty, sir."

Bandy walked by his lonesome through the hustle and bustle of the crowd. He was one of those people who could manage to be completely by themselves no matter how many others were about. At six-six, he could easily see over the heads of... well... everyone. Others were bidding farewell to clan-mates and friends all about him as he sauntered slowly towards the war room assigned to his unit. Bandy easily could move about the milling throngs not just due to his size alone, but for the simple fact that he didn't know anyone here at all. You would never have known it from his impassive face, but he was busying his mind with the strange mathematics of his unit. A Clan Star had five mechs, that was simple enough. Supposedly these Inner Sphere mucks worked instead in lances, each consisting of four mechs. But there were seven names in the unit, including that of his Star Commander.

In the end he simply shrugged it away as Star Commander Jenning's problem. While Bandy was a Star Commander himself, if only just so, he was fairly confident that he had far less seniority than Jennings. What Jennings was going to do with him was anyone's guess. Walking into the war room, Bandy looked about placidly and nodded to the warriors who had already arrived. As stone-faced as his expression was, there was still the air of a faintly concussed duck about him. What stands out more to them?, he quietly mused, My height, my rank or my freebirth? He was fairly certain it would be his height, at least at first. There were many reasons as to why he preferred quad mechs, but few people thought about the main one: quad mechs tended to have more leg room.

He gave a sharp salute to Jennings. "Bandy. As ordered, sir."

Jarric Amirault jogged forward his fists raised from the rabble of his clansmen to raucous applause from his fellow Hell's Horses, boisterous shaking and yelling from them, feet stamping and hands clapping drowning out almost all other noise in the chamber. The Hell's Horses naturally had many freebirths, armored warriors, and elementals in there numbers who had little caring for the more austere warriors of other clans. Jarric was ready to go, he had been cooped up for too long without seeing any action or even getting a chance to truly stretch his legs and so was even more boisterous and energetic than usual along with his hello horsemen. A smile broad on his face he wen forth, his pilot jacket open revealing a tight white undershirt formed to his firm muscles he entered the came into the room with the other pilots and popped to a rough attention with the others. He dropped his salute without prompting and fell to rather lax stance his hands in the pockets of his jacket. "Jarric Amirault of Clan Hell's Horses reporting for duty."

“Enemies of the Imperium, hear me. You have come here to die. The Immortal Emperor is with us and we are invincible. His soldiers will strike you down. His war machines will crush you under their treads. His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you. You cannot win. The Emperor has given us his greatest weapon to wield. So make yourselves ready. We are the Imperial Guard, and your doom is upon you. "

Dieter watched as the other warriors left to the war room, then looked to the crowd of people from just about every clan, even the Snow Ravens. This was by far the best day of his life dwarfing even his first mech and kill,he thought as he made his way through the cacophony of sound, adjusting his coat and placing his cap on his head 'the first thing you do is salute the commander, and then do my best to whip the troops in to shape...and im going to have to find a new pinup for me mech sooner or later'he added the last part as more of a side note than anything.he checked the device on his wrist for the names of who he was going to be serving with'They let freeborn on this ship?what has the galaxy come to?'"Dieter Klein, reporting for duty sir"he said saluting the commander and then turning to his fellow troops"Its not proper to be so relaxed when the commanding officer is on deck,Jarric. We are the best the clans can offer, not street rabble"he continued down the line, narrowing his eyes at the freeborn and lingering longer than he should at Felicia'A woman?my my this is going to be fun'he then spent the rest of the time thinking of ways to save on mech weight and just general improving it also giving glances at Felicia when he thought she wasn't looking

Charles sighed as they all came in, more or less at the Falcon girl but nonetheless he knew this may not be easy.

"Alright that's enough, sit down now and listen up!" he said as he stood up, he looked over them, he was merely 6 foot 9, but that was due to multiple surgeries, it did not matter he looked over them as he glared at all of them. "I want you all to listen up and listen good." he said

"I don't care if you are freebirth, trueborn, have a bloodname, or if you are black purple or white. You are fighting for me so i expect the best." he said as he continued with a stern voice, "I expect the best and the best i will receive, because i tell you that as of takeoff you will no longer be of Jade Falcon descent.." He said as he looked at Felicia, or snow raven, or hells horses descent, it doesn't matter!"

"You see once we take off you are now a mercenary, and an inner sphere, in being so you will fight and act like them when they are around or can hear you."

"This being said I hope you all packed your honor up into your own ego's because we are mercenaries, one of the least honorable people to fight, to think that you will be paid to fight for different sides, just makes you cringe doesn't it?" Charles said looking at them.

"As I had said earlier though, I expect the best. And i mean that, you see i expect a performance like none other from you, whether it is freebirth, or trueborn, you will fight with each other, you will eat with each other, and you will wake up around one another. So you better get use to it because if there is one thing that can effect a warrior, that is Emotions, and arguing!"

Charles looked at his new crew, "Do i make myself clear?" he said as he looked at them with an intense glare. "It is our jobs to find out how these rats, tick, how they breathe, how they smell, how they fight, and what they use... I hope you said goodbye to anyone you cared for because this is going to be awhile before we go back." Charles said. "Now i already have each one of you a living quarters on the same floor, if you look on your wristband it will tell you where and which way to go. Any questions?" he said as he grabbed a drink from under the table and set it down as he sat down.

Markus didn't say anything. He didn't need to. Everything was answered exactly the way he wanted it to be. He didn't need any other information. Sharing a floor with the rest of the lance? Not a big deal. He checked his wristband too see which way he would have to go, and made it memorized. He smacked his dry lips and took a look at each of the members. Everyone was eyeing the chick. Fucking perverts. As if any of those kids were going to get lucky or something. He made a silent chuckle to himself, not saying anything but still standing at attention and waiting. Waiting for the call to leave this place.

A ear was given to the leader of their force and Felicia frowned at some of the things he had said. If it were any other time and place a fight would have already broke out and blood would have been drawn and someone could possibly wind up dead. Out of the corner of her eyes she noticed the looks she was getting from the snow raven. It made her smirk as she noticed she was the only female present. As the speech was done she tilted her head and asked a question. "What is the name of our mercenary group?" She crossed her arms over her chest and before he could answer asked. "Also where are we operating and what is our first mission."
