No, it's like a villain who has a cat. They do all sorts of horrid shit, killing people, making money off of starving children, generally not giving a fuck about other people.. but they care about the cat. That's like their one apparently decent trait, they love the cat and are a normal person when it comes to that.

Doesn't mean he's not going to keep on doing horrible shit just because someone points out that he loves his kitty. Doesn't make him any less of a villain. It's just another facet to his personality.

That's what this is. It doesn't make me the harmless villain trope you'd like to shove on me, it makes me not one dimensional. :3

If you remember the thread where we were talking about which tropes applied to which people, I agreed that I totally wasn't a wholly evil one. I said I aspire to be a Magnificent Bastard, but I'm really more like an Anti-Villain (of the good goals but bad actions to achieve it type) or maybe a Jerk with a Heart of Gold because I'm not as spiffy as a Magnificent Bastard but I'm also not all bad.
