The year is 2020, though the indecent of 2018 {Metal Gear Rising indecent was then} was known to some it had thankfully not come to a full-blown war, however due to the assassination attempt on the president it led to heightened tensions between the United States and Pakistan, and soon it spread like wild fire. The PMC's were once again a profitable market and the war economy bloomed to new heights, with the technology soon following close behind. With the high demand of PMC's, big or small, many new ones have started to come into the light, ready to have a hand in this market.
You are apart of Uroboros, a new low tech PMC that represents the unending fight and strengthening through conflict. It is headed by a women of noble birth by the name of Sir Integra Beatrix Ashford. You may have been here since the start of the company from a year ago or you may be a new recruit, but either way soon everything will rest on this small PMC and the possible end of the world as they know it, but in doing so will they doom it in another way?

Basics
Hello and welcome to my Metal Gear Rising RP ^^
There are a few basics that you may like to know before joining given that this is not going to be your normal 'you are awesome from the start' type of metal gear RP. We are going to start off a small PMC that handles private security. For instance we only have 5 small metal gears, 2 APC's and 1 helicopter. You will be apart of the unique team within this PMC, ranging from being a rookie to the PMC, a AI, or apart of Integra's old unit. We will start off with a big break job that is worth alot of money, but as with all things this will not go to plan at all. Below are a few more things that you would know as well. I hope you find your stay here enjoyable.
PMC
Though small at first and ill geared out for such work, throughout the RP we will gather new things and become more and more epic as we go along, building into a small but unstoppable force! Remember, just because we may not have it doesn't mean you can not steal the enemies and use their own weapons against them. Oh and not to mention coming up with unqiue and cool weapons, metal gears and stuff later >:3
"Strengthening through the unending fight"
Integra used her inheritance to start up Uroboros, though she did not have enough to spend billions on the investment her know how and skill at war has pushed Uroboros out from the shadows of the larger PMC's and gained the company a nice reputation. The Company only consisted of Integra, a few cyborgs and apart of her old team from years ago. The cyborg conscripts handle most of the grunt work of the company to bring in a steady flow of money, but the true pride of Uroboros is the companies elite team of deadly vets. However, with the death of 3 of the members, only leaving Integraand two others, ranks have opened up on the team which need to be filled.
This is where you come in {Unless you were already apart of the team, of which I am allowing 2.} You have come to join up with this team, be you a rookie just starting out in the PMC bis or a seasoned vet of war, ready to take on bigger and better things than just hiring yourself out for money.
1 Tiltrotor: Its onboard weapons and defensive systems included flares as well as a machine gun mounted on the fuselage of the vehicle as well as 3 on the back and both doors.. It also possessed cables and hooks as a means to extract personnel directly from the battlefield.
All current gear and other equipment was brought on the cheap.
Here is all the basic gear that you can obtain, of course there are other things but they are of little use to the team.

Personality
Sawback centers most thought around control. If he is not in a controlled environment, what factors are controlled? What can he control? What is out of his control? Who or what controls what he does not? What does he need to control? How can he control it? After control comes security. Once Sawback has a situation where he wants it, how does he maintain it? Even while relaxing, Sawback constantly considers the maintenance of the environment he is around. However, the environment he is in can not always be a controlled factor, thus Sawback also is constantly analyzing the individuals in an environment as well as the environment itself. Often, he will disregard all of an environment and seek to control one person due to their influence. Sometimes, it is not so easy. Sawback must often make judgement calls regarding what he has prioritized, thus adding to the quick-paced depth of his thought. Although all of this seems like a rendition of his skills, it is indeed an explanation of his persona. Due to his training in espionage and interrogation, Sawback does not have a core personality, instead creating one for whatever situation he is in and uses the aforementioned criteria to do so.
Background
Sawback was created by a PMC stationed in France. Their goal was to create a 'super soldier' (as is the goal of most PMC's) with a special nanocyte interface. The DNA of each experiment was constructed from scratch to create individuals with no physical defaults that could perform at maximum human capabilities. Furthermore, vestigial organs and body functions, such as the appendix, were altered to allow the body to host a symbiotic synthesized nanocyte (SSN). The nanocytes created a biosynthetic cybernetic interface (BCI) within the individual that replaced the altered organs and bodily functions to meld itself perfectly with the body. The new system was called Project GREYMATTER and the French PMC hoped it would immediately outmode all systems in use today. Sawback was one of the first successful experiments involved in Project GREYMATTER; only six of the two-hundred subjects survived the SSN injections. Sawback was never given a name, only called CC023 in reference to being the 23rd out of two-hundred. He was raised to be a prototype alongside his brethren - an example of what this experiment could lead to. Although the success rate was low, the results were incredible. In sixteen years of training, Sawback was leaner and stronger than French Spec OP's Commandos. He spoke nine language and had mastered all virtual training sessions regarding espionage. He was an excellent combat strategist, but most impressive of all was his ability to understand the human mind, which most of his skill (including strategy) derived from. Before their debut, however, the second half of the experiment was shown. The six were split up and surgically altered. Sawback had his entire right arm removed and replaced with a biosynthetic arm that uplinked with his BCI to make the most out of his half-cybernetic nature. The six reunited afterwards and plotted their escape. While in the middle of a training session, CC072 uplinked himself with all six of his brothers, disconnected their BCI's from the host network and then the six fought their way out of the complex. To his knowledge, Sawback lost two brothers in the escape that day, but gained his freedom. Afterwards, Sawback worked as a mercenary where he specialized in espionage and bladed weaponry. His weapon of choice was often a simple sawback machete due to its utility. The oddity of this choice earned him his nickname, Sawback.
Equipment
Sawback often uses little-to-no equipment in general. For several missions, he has used nothing but disposable plastic handguns and tuxedos. This go around, Integra has providedhim a little more than his regular armament. Sawback has been given three major sets of equipment in addition to his tuxedo. The first is a full-body Octosuit underneath his tuxedo. By default, the suit covers his face and skin, but is set to mimic their regular texture. Integra also went an extra step in providing a special interactive octocamo glove for Sawback's right forearm. In conjunction with the octocamo suit, Sawback's has been given a tuxedo using similar Octocamo technology that can replicate almost any suit and a mask that can replicate the physical appearance of anyone that Sawback has seen using his BCI. The tuxedo is not a full octocamo suit as microkelvar enhancements and infrared pathers reduced its adaptability. The second set of equipment is a full-plastic combat system located on his back below his shoulders form-fit to his lumbar and concealed by special tailoring of his tuxedo. Sawback has two identical bullpup handguns that can either be fired as pistols or submachine guns. These guns can use almost any common handgun ammunition by scanning it and modifying the chamber and barrel to the appropriate sizes. The default ammunition for these weapons are hollow-point, hardened plastics designed almost identically to a 5.7×28mm cartridge. The process of the scan and modification takes roughly five seconds, meaning that in an combat situation, it is paramount that he attempts to use the same ammunition. Lastly, this array of plastics comes with a set amount of potent plastic explosive with remote detonator. The amount of explosive is highly limited, but a huge asset. Lastly, Sawback has been given a concealed utility belt featuring small smoke bombs, flashbangs and thin sheets of acid that are activated by aqueous solution. A personal item added is a telescoping machete designed with metal substitutes and, of course, a sawback.
More notably is the exoskeleton and combat system that Sawback possessed prior his escape from France. The exoskeleton itself is a highly advanced nano-level microweave of enhanced kelvar materials and titanium-dipped plates. Additionally, the cloth beneath the outer layer of armor hardens into an extremely rigid state when an electrical current of a specific voltage is passed through it. Such a case would be if a blade passed through a plate as the armor is designed to harden to prevent the stab. Furthermore, the armor itself is designed for full flexibility by impeding agility, however, due to the nature of Sawback's training, the reduction to agility only hinders him slightly. The most outer layer of his stealth suit is designed to prevent common types of detection from seeing him, such as radar, sonar and infared, however, the suit does not made him perfectly invisible. The combat system granted by the suit also gives a set of three guns on his back that withdraw to a more compact form. Each gun is capable of using munition of different calibers that are common for its purpose; this capabilities was added due to the personal limitations of munitions carried on the person for the rifles. Each rifle is effectively of a similar design aesthetically, but sized down. The larger rifle fires most types of large shells used for long-range combat and armor piercing. The medium-sized rifle uses an extended-stock design and fires automatic or semi-automatic munitions meant for assault rifles. The smallest gun is a bullpup designed handgun that can house up to two different munitions simultaneously and has two barrels capable of firing the widest variety of munitions. The top barrel is designed for smaller munitions and is meant to be fired as a submachine gun whereas the underbarrel is designed for larger caliber rounds to be fired as single shots. Each gun scans the bullet it is firing, measuring its size, determining its caliber and adjusting the barrel to fit it before firing. This process takes roughly five seconds, thus even though the rifle may use almost any time of common munition, it is best they use the same type consecutively if possible. Lastly, the suit has extendable claws using razor-sharp diamond-edged blades.

Note: Sawback can operate most common vehicles, including small boats. However, he cannot fly, operate artillery or man those fucking gundams.
Cybernetics
As part of Project GREYMATTER, one could claim that Sawback is half cybernetic. His right arm is an entire biosynthetic appendage regulated by the nanocytes in his blood. Almost every system and organ in his body is melded with nanocytes performing different roles. The appendix acts as the central brain for the nanocytes, similar to the relationship the brain stem has with the central nervous system. Nanocytes are biosynthesized meaning that Sawback makes them using proteins, however, they do not deteriorate or replicate like regular cells. Instead, the nanocytes periodically charge at nodes throughout the body using the appendix as a biochemical battery where glucose is converted into usable energy. Whereas red blood cells, erythrocytes, are used to carry oxygen to muscle tissue, specialized nanocytes are used for the same purpose in his right arm. The skin growing over hi right arm is the most biosynthetic part of his body; nanocytes designed to replicate the functions of skin and actual skin connect perfectly and separate when needed. All of his hand is a large, synthetic skin that retracts for the use of tools (such as access ports) from his fingers. His hand also acts as a rail gun, capable of firing a single blast of kinetic energy at the cost of the 97% of his internal battery. Furthermore, his hand is also a kind of multi-tool, not unlike a leatherman. All of his functions are controlled by his brain and altered appendix in tandem due to a perfect merger of his central nervous system and BCI. The true extent of this is unknown.

Personality
Being strong willed, elegant and polite comes with the station she has in life and have become apart of her, but they also have been twisted with the strict and respectful manner of a solider, giving her a true leader like personality. She is a master tactician and is knowledgeable on many ways of war and fighting. Despite the loses she has taken and the damage it has had on her mind, Integra keeps up the look of being in control. Being a rather big joker within the team, often commenting how Avery has been eyeing her with those cybernetic eyes of his or that she acts more like a man than most of the team. Soon though everyone demons weigh down on them and Integra has many, the ghosts of her long lost freinds fill her mind, so to make it up to them she tries to keep everyone within the team safe as she could, she knows that death is apart of the job and she needs to keep a cool head but she can't stand seeing people die before her...
Appearance
She wears a long crimson red military coat over her shoulders, where she constantly keeps her right arm tucked away in the coat, hardly EVER using it for anything, as she always uses her left arm for shooting, writing etc. The only time she commonly uses it is when she is driving her bike. One of her eyes are green and the other blue. Where her arm and shoulder connect she has scars.
Background
Born into the noble family of Ashford Integra lived a comfy and happy life, but as she grew up she took notice to the strange actions of her mother, her body was strange compared to others as it often felt cold and hard. Unknown at the time for Integra that her mother was in fact a military cyborg that years ago had saved her father from a assassination attempt, they fell for one another and had her. But her mother was restless and continued to fight as a merc... But then they came, to kill Integra's mother while her father was out, though she held her own her daughter witnessed the horrible sight of her mother being cut down before her. To say the least Integra took this to heart and when of age joined up with the military, soon raising in rank to the SAS, England world famous group.
However, a high stakes mission went off the rails one day having her split from her team on a train. They were assigned to protect one of the princes of England, and in doing so she sacrificed her right arm in order to protect the prince, the exo suit she was wearing stopping the blade, though not until all her arm was sliced off. Taking the chance she drove off the cyborgs with her revolver, blasting away until back up arrived. She was knighted for her service to the crown and given a golden cybernetic arm, though it was not useful for combat... They had basically retired her then and there, and even though she was sure they had good intentions her wanderlust had not burned out.
It was then that they showed up and offered her and new arm and a new chance... She will never forget her time with them....
Years later and a vet solider Integra has now returned and given the family fortune by her father, allowing her to build her own PMC from the ground up. She has used every piece of her know how and knowledge of war to drag Uroboros from the shadows and into the eyes of the world... She may come to regret this action one day.
Equipment
As like with most HF blades thsi weapon is reinforced by a powerful alternating current and resonates at extremely high frequencies, though this weapon focuses such HF at the tip of the weapon. This oscillation weakens the molecular bonds of anything it cuts, thereby increasing its cutting ability. Integra mainly uses the weapon to do thrusting attacks, though she can slash with the weapon. There is a small hidden HF dagger at the very end which is attached to a chain. Unlike most this weapon is designed to drill and pierce armored targets, hence why the Rapier design was chosen. Proficient users, such as Integra with her right arm, are also able to wield the blade with such accuracy and speed that they were able to deflect bullets.
This Duel action revolver is the very same revolver that saved both hers and the princes life, it is designed to be able to fire many kinds of ammunition as long as one changes out the barrel and cylinder before hand, hence making the choice of picking the right combo importent before a mission. Integra keeps these barrels etc within her large coat. Despite the weapon commonly used as a purely back up weapon by the SAS, within Integra's hands it is a deadly force comparable to even a skilled gunslinger.
Despite this suit being old it is still within its prime given that this old suit is now the very same tech that almost all PMC troopers use. SAS funding was great. This suit Provides enhanced combat capabilities to the wearer, such as increased strength and agility. This was mainly used back in the day when Integra did not have a cybernetic arm. The one unique thing about this suit is its color, the crimson red color was not common within the SAS but when on missions of protection she wants to be sure they aimed for her first. *Being the owner it is safe to say she dose not wear this often.

Coat: a place she hides her arm and stashes all her goodies, including snacks. It is also slightly bullet proof against small arms fire; such as handguns and SMG's, normal assassin weapons. Integra's Classic Yamaha V-Max and VMAX In red

Leadership: Integra has a large intellect and is a genius tactician within her own right despite her age
Hand to Hand: Being one of the most famous close combat groups in the world the SAS trained her well in this regard
Basic weapons training: Like most she has basic knowledge of how to handle most guns unless they are prototype or unqiue
Resolver specialist: Being the only gun she ever used she has trained a huge amount of skill with this weapon
Western style sword play: despite most thinking the Rapier sword play is nothing more than a nobles pass time this is her most deadly combat form when she is serous.
Duel wield Revolver and sword with the same skill she has for both.
Interrogation specialist: The Crimson Queen is not just a code name, it described her skills and brutality very well, and that combined with her intellect makes her a natural at this, though not as good as those trained.
Able to drive most manned machines, though combat with them is minimal at best and can not pilot fast moving jets or metal gears etc.
Cybernetics
Right Arm: This arm is fully cybernetic in nature but it is far more advanced than most normal combat models. A strange symbol on it is scratched out, but it is clear that it was made personally for her given the color of dark red and white. The capabilities are high on this arm, it contains a firing system within the arm, though it dose not fire anything. When fired the recoil and pressure is sent out of the elbow/shoulder to give a truly high impact strike. The design is sleek so it can cut through the air but it is tough enough to resist the pressure. The shoulder had a sort of angel wing like design to direct the flow of the pressure.
Abilities
Has a small amount of Psychic ability but its not trained or unlocked... Yet. This is one of her weaknesses instead of a strength given she is untrained and is weak to physic attacks.
Is able to dash forwards at almost break neck speeds, despite being mostly human.
Able to bounce bullets when firing her revolver / deflect bullets with her right arm though it is limited due to the fact only one arm can do it.

Name Avery Briggs Aliases Emerald Dragon Age 38 Gender Male Country of Origin United States Place within the Team Rifleman/Military Instructor (helps with training recruits or inexperienced soldiers) Personality Avery is a man, soldier, mercenary, son, former parent, and a good friend. He has done soo much evil and has lost so much, but can still keep a sense of ethics. No matter what group he worked for he always cared for his men, respected the enemy, and pitied the innocents caught in the crossfire.
His general mood is suprisingly light. Avery's hardships has only strengthened him. Instead of wallowing he has learned to embrace his successes and failures. Needless to say he is the type of guy you call on if you need someone to watch your back. Avery's main flaw is that he doesn't feel the need to ask for help even when he knows it may be necessary. Appearance
Background Avery was born in chicago and grew up into a kid anxious to see the world and a idea that he was invincible. Like every other young man like him who joined the military, he was slapped back into the real world and into something more than he bargained for. To his credit he was an exceptional soldier. He had highscored when it came to marksmanship, running, squad tactics and even leading. While not the best in the army he was good enough to be put into the Army Rangers.
He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. A good squad leader and he lead his men through every firefight against Iraqi insurgents, Al-Qaeda and Taliban effectively. Eventually he was injured by an IED explosion that killed his entire squad. The loss of his friends were traumatic and it nearly killed him when he went back home. Avery was able to settle down for a few years and even got married. Even this wouldn't be the end of his suffering. During the pregnancy his Wife Elissa died during the birth and his daughter was already in critical condtion. On the same day he lose his daughter and once again spiraled into a depression. One day he got a letter from Raven Sword asking for his services. The possible pay and the ability to do the only thing he felt he could do best appealed to him. It didn't matter who he fought for as long as he could fight and drown himself in it.
What followed was a few years of police operations in Easter Europe and other regions. The surprising thing was to him it felt therapeutic. The men and women around him depended on him to do his job. He could save them even though he couldn't save so many others in the past. This still wasn't right for him. Ravensword as a PMC did horrible things and when the Patriots were destroyed he left them and entered a chaotic world. Uroborus appeared to him as a group with some possible integrity. They took him in as a part of their elite team and he found a job as part
This is a custom armor he modified over the years. Its simply a more customised version of standard PMC armor. It is capable of storing a large amount of ammo and equipment. The exoskeleton increases the wearers strength. This would generally be used for supplies, but in Avery's case its to keep him from dying immediately when a military cyborg shows up. It also increases his speed, to Peak human levels. The Armor is a mixture of kevlar and ceramic plating.
It also has the ability to change colors. Unlike Octocamo it is based on existing camo patterns that can be uploaded. The user would have to manually input what camo pattern needs to be used. Of course in Avery's case he generally likes a color that matches his eyes.
One of the clients he worked for was a scientist in a military R&D company. A pet project of his called "Bloody Knuckles" was given to Avery as a gift. It was a pair of what appeared to be brass knuckles, but it was capable of delivering a concussive blast to whoever is hit with them. Even a full body cyborg could be sent flying a dozen meters. Of course to use this the wearer would need a special glove fille with nanobots. These things are capable of absorbing the force from the concussive blast.
Skills
-Has experience with using a great deal of weapons, but he is very accurate with an Assault Rifle. Avery prefers rifles in general.
-Years of fighting as a Mercenary in close quarters combat with rebels, and sometimes against cyborgs has given him enough knowledge to figure out how to fight most people in close quarters combat using any weapon available.
-Avery is a veteran soldier in both the US Army and Raven Sword. He has a great deal of tactical knowledge, but on a strategic level his boss still surpass him. The Crimson Queen is even able to keep up with him in tactics which is a sore spot for him. Can't have someone almost 10 years younger than him nearly best him in tactical knowledge. Think of his ego.
-A good driver, but for some reason can get lost pretty easily.

One word to describe Heki's personality is "Dedicated", when Heki has decided to do something, he will do all in his power to accomplish it. There isn't thing very exceptional about his personality, but Heki is generally a very enjoyable fellow to be around, unless it comes to terrorists. Then Heki becomes deadly serious, some might even say he goes out of his way to be exceptional cruel to terrorists. Heki tends to not talk about his past might, as he can get a bit.. Background
Heki was born into a into an ordinary family, except that all members of that family regularly joined the military. Heki was born to a Caucasian father and a Chinese mother hence his name, he clearly looks more Caucasian though but he has the benefit of being able to fluently speak Chinese. At age 18, like the other males of his family he joined the BLANK military and within it he distinguished himself in basic training where he scored a near one hundred percent accuracy with the various weapons, breaking many of the marksmanship records. He was promptly recommended to attend, sniper training which Heki did attend after he finished all the prerequisite courses. After that Heki was assigned along with his spotter Rob, to a battalion where they served as the battalion commander's best eyes on the ground to recon any area before an offensive push in the operation area began. It would not be exaggerating to say, that hundreds of men and equipment have been saved from loss from the work of these two men. The efficiency of these two men became so well known within the higher ranks of military command that, Heki and Rob were regularly recruited for black operations by the government and the military. Together they served in various war torn countries such as Iraq, when at other times they would be sent to other sniper schools in allied countries to share their knowledge and also to gain new skills.
It all went wrong on a mission where, he and Rob were assigned into a deep cover mission into a terrorist group. After a few months though, both Heki and Rob were dragged out from their beds in the middle of the night, what followed was a BLANK. What is known is that Heki made it back to his country BLANK, where he was dishonorably discharged from the military on the account that it was he sold out his partner. From then Heki disappeared for 3 years, so deep underground that no one could find him, a string of strange murders did occur during these times, where various terrorist leaders and BLANK were found dead. After those 3 years Heki resurfaced, joining various PMC groups but always leaving soon after because of disagreements on various policies. Now he has ended up at Uroboros. Equipment
