Modern Fantasy I've been trying to get a modern role play going for a long time. I saw a previous role play somewhat similar to my idea in a tiny way, minus some elements. This role play will possess supernatural characters. Mages, Vampires, Werewolves, and others, such as minor gods (Think Mortal Kombat, not Q, from Star Trek), and perhaps still others, all involved in cooperation so they can kill the Anti-Christ.

This role play will involve Shao Lin, various elements of mysticism, and an attempt to be respectful towards all traditions that are somewhat represented in this role play in minor ways.

The Role Play of Draconilian's which reminded me to restart my own role play, is similar to the OP, except it deals with more restrictions on character creation, and seems to be less of a tighter squeeze in what's acceptable and what's not.

Setting:
The year is 2030. Hassan Mustafa, born of an Italian Mother and an Iraqi man, is actually The Devil in Human flesh. He has been elected unanimously as the Global Chairman for the World with an almost unanimous vote, except for Israel. The reason is, that he is an extremely charismatic, cunning and intelligent politician. As well as the most powerful warlock in the world and also the greatest demon in the Kingdom of Darkness. Very few understand his true nature and it is nearly impossible to succesfully debate with others about his evil nature. His reputation is more solid as a saintly man than Mohatma Gandhi, Budda, etcetera.

Technology is sufficiently more advanced than it is now, and there have been many successive wars. The United States has managed to stay the number one power in the world due to an economy that has managed to improved steadily over the years due to technological innovation, alongside with China.

Is there more details to this...? I understand that the plan is to take out this man who is the devil.

But are we going to be playing members of some elite group? A team gathered by some force? Or are we just gonna be random people that are trying to take him down?

Head on over here to discuss it. And, I'm going to have it set up that everyone meets in England or at least somewhere in the British Isles, no matter where there from. From there, that's where they find incontrovertible proof that Hassan Mustafa is evil. They have a few scant months to present to the world community the evidence of this, but they have to somehow get past his men and send it to the Global Council.

After that, there are several possibilities of how the rest of the role play will play out. He could be discovered, or he could pull something out of his ass to get himself out of trouble, among other possibilities. Since this is a modern age, everyone could have met eachother through an important proxy. I'm thinking an American secret agent.
