I've been in and seen a lot of Ace Attorney RPs. I'm a big fan of the series *gestures to avatar*. But none of them ever work out because it's impossible to make it up as you go along. The storyline HAS to be set and it HAS to be regulated. It's often enough too hard to do.

This. Also, it's very important that you define how court will play out in an RP setting before you get started. How will testimony and cross-examination play out? How will penalties be assessed? Is there a "penalty bar" system like in the games? Does all evidence need to be submitted to the court record before the trial starts? What is the process for getting evidence accepted into the record? Do all witnesses need to be prepared beforehand, or can the defense/prosecution summon surprise witnesses to the stand? Who will play the judge/various witnesses and how much information will be made available to them?

So, you do know what you’re doing then? I’m fairly interested, because if you’ve got the story planned, then there has to be an end. Not too many RP’s actually have those. It’d be nice to add another RP to my “complete list”, so why not? Besides, Ace Attorney just so happens to be the best thing since sliced bread, or at least in my eyes.

Yes, yes I do, mostly. There's still some finer points I need to fix up, but, I have a basic way of how the story is, and how testimonies, evidence and things like that will work.
