    Krerasia Character Sheets

    Character Sheet:
    Name:
    Status/Job:
    Sex:
    Description:
    Personality:
    History:
    Opinion on the Agreement:

    Name: Gabriel Djivan

    Status/Job: Commander of Thasah

    Sex: Male

    Description: At 6'6”, there aren't many people Gabriel looks up to. He carries himself with a powerful confidence, each stride a strong reminder of who he is. Built like a bull, it is said that he is as strong as one, too. His body, even his face, are marred by scars. Most are faded, but some are thick and bold, painful reminders of his past. Storm grey eyes are one of his greatest weapons, fierce and without mercy. They hide much, showing only what he wants others to know. Thick shadow, almost a beard, suits him well, adding to his arsenal of intimidation.

    Personality: A wry sense of humor always has the tendency to throw people off, especially given his generally brusk attitude. He has never been afraid to say exactly what is on his mind, regardless of whether it is the Queen or a foreigner. His temper is well known throughout all of Thasah. It burns white hot, but doesn't usually last for long. When it comes to matters of the past, he is stubbornly unwilling to tell it... for to relive those terrors is one of his greatest fears. Underneath his blatant confidence and non nonsense manner is an anxious and frightened man... one that he hides remarkably well.

    History: It is rare for anyone in Thasah to know where Gabriel came from. But he was born in a small home, one that could barely feed itself before he came along. His mother was a soft, timid thing, and his father was an angry blacksmith who drank far too much. Since he was but a boy, he took numerous beatings and abuse from his father while his mother looked one, too frightened to intervene. For Gabriel, it was his mother's actions that hurt him more than his father's.

    By the age of 13, Gabriel's skin was already littered with scars. He learned how to withdraw his mind, so as to keep at least some part of himself alive. For the rest of him felt dead. He was taught how to survive, rather than how to get a job. He was educated on the history of Krerasia, rather than just about Thasah and Rone, learning of Joca, Ynelanei, and Nahda. Fascinated by these previously unknown places, Gabriel left home at 16. By that time he had been raped and tortured by his own father more times than he could bother to count. It made him hard, abrupt. It made him cold. The only thing that truly saved his soul was his visit to Joca. There, he met a woman by the name of Karna. She never learned of what had happened to him, but watched over him in the night as he thrashed and suffered excruciating nightmares. The closer they became, the less pain he felt for leaving his mother behind with his monster of a father.

    At 19, he had his first child with Karna. The joy didn't last for long, the child dead by the time it entered the world. Gabriel became sick with sorrow, but tried to hold himself up for the sake of Karna. She became angry, lashing out at every turn. The day she blamed him for the death of their child, he could take no more of it. He left in a fury. Everything was red. The next day, when he returned to try and make things right, he found Karna dead with two perfect cuts on the inside of each wrist.

    Gabiel's life took on a drastic turn after that. He returned to Thasah, and joined the military. Being a soldier, and focusing on where he could go with it, became his driving force. He became obsessed with it, climbing the ranks with more speed than anyone had seen before. It took only a few years before he became the Commander of Thasah. Rather than celebrate, as those who had grown to love him did, he mourned instead. Now what else was there for him to hide his grief in? What more, really, was there to live for? Barely able to sleep, Gabriel often took long walks through Thasah during the night. He suffered horrific flashbacks and nightmares when he did attempt sleep, and so chose to avoid it. For years it went on that way, his duties the only thing connecting him with life. When Rone's Prince accused Thasah spies of killing the Queen of Rone, it came as something of a surprise. That feeling in itself... the surprise... breathed into him new life. He increased the amount of guards on patrol, and started to revamp the intelligence section of the military. Information was key.

    Then... the agreement between Thasah and Rone was proposed. This put something of a dent in Gabriel's plans, although he took everything in stride. The idea of the two Kingdoms becoming one sent a touch of nerves down his spine, although he said nothing to the Queen. It wasn't that it wasn't his place... for he barely knew it anyway... but rather, he didn't quite know what to think of it. He went outside of the royal circle to discuss the treaty, surrounding himself with military men and women. It was during this time that he met Alexander, and took an interest in him. Always Gabriel tried to look at things from both sides, and not just one. The soldier from Rone was his best chance at gaining knowledge from that side.

    Opinion on the Agreement: Gabriel is very much on the fence with the agreement. He can see how it could bring peace between Thasah and Rone, but he can also see problems... mainly in the public aspect of things.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
    Name: Alaster Meilyr
    Status/Job: Prince of Rone
    Sex: Male
    Description: Tall and athletic, Alaster stands at an even 6 feet tall. His skin is bronzed by the sun, which is typical for those who live in Rone. His eyes are sharp and unforgiving, their dense hazel color looking more green than brown. Shoulder-length dark blond hair is braided into dreads and braids, some of which sport black and blue beads. His build is powerful, shaped into a machine of death by his stalwart dedication to war and everything that it entails.
    Personality: Strong willed. Or perhaps stubborn. Both of these suit Alaster quite well. He is stoic on the good days, and loud on the bad days. His preference is in avoiding other people, for he looks down upon the majority of them. His country, and its pureness, are all that he cares for... except for one thing: His sister. Even given that, Alaster is well known for carrying out his chosen goals by whatever methods necessary. Even if that means taking lives. Ruthless, cunning, and savage, the Prince of Rone is more of a warlord than a leader.
    History: Since a young age, Alaster has always been a fighter. No matter what his parents tried, he always ended up in some sort of trouble, whether it was stealing food from Joca or taking off with his father's favorite horse. As he grew, he spent more time learning how to fight and learn the strategies of war than learn about how to run a Kingdom. He spent a considerable amount of time with his sister, slowly developing the belief that everyone else was a worthless piece of hide. She was his world, someone he looked up to. She was, and still is, the only person who has ever seen him laugh. The only person who has seen his eyes fill with tears. And the only person who he could possibly trust in a time of, according to him, constant uncertainty.
    At the age of 17, Alaster almost lost his life. He was in the stables, grooming his horse (for he always did it himself) when its hooves landed a mighty blow to his chest. Ribs broke and fractured, and his sternum cracked. Many were fearful of the Prince, and had even grown to hate his aloof manner and cruel tongue. Given that, his sister found him barely breathing, with everyone else looking on... almost wishing he would pass onto the next life. Since that great blow, Alaster's chest has always been weak. His faith in people, too, has been utterly lost.
    When Alaster himself found his mother dead in her chambers, nothing... not even his sister... could console him. He went ballistic, killing several servants in his rage and grief. A hatred for Thasah had always lived in his heart, born from the ancient stories he had been subject to since childhood. He wasted no time in blaming Thasah's spies, going behind his family's back to threaten Thasah with war for what they had done. When no one could come to a conclusion of how the Queen of Rone had died, it only convinced Alaster further of his belief and accusation. More and more, he stayed away from the palace. His relationship with his father grew thinner and thinner. They fought more than they found peace. Alaster was becoming a liability, but the King couldn't find it in his heart to address it. They were all sick with grief.
    Alaster became even more dangerous when the letter from Thasah arrived, asking for both peace and a marriage between his sister and Thasah's Prince. He believed it was a trick to destroy Rone and everything that they were... a plot for revenge. When his sister attempted to include him in the decision, he went mad, accusing her of treason should she go through with it. Since that day, he avoided the palace and his family, living off the land and heightening his skills. He felt lost, completely alone, misunderstood. All he had now, in his eyes, was himself. It was up to him to stop this insane and senseless marriage from happening... for it seemed that no one else would take his side.
    Opinion on the Agreement: It is Alaster's belief that the treaty is a plot to take revenge on Rone and its people for the war, fought so long ago. He is disgusted by the mere thought of it, and will stop at nothing to break the agreement... at whatever necessary cost.
    Name: Tanaila Herme
    Status/Job: Lady-in-waiting to the princess of Rone
    Sex: Female
    Description: Tanaila is a petite girl of 17 and the daughter of the dead queen's younger sister. She has long light brown hair and clear chocolate-colored eyes. Though most nobles her age would be betrothed if not wed, Tanaila's mom her been unable to find her a suitor. The girl had been born a full year after her mother's husband was killed in a hunting accident, and nobody of any status wants to marry a bastard.
    Personality: Tanaila is spunky and somewhat spoiled. Her tutors never put much care into her studies. After all, she would never be in a position of power and didn't have much use for an education. Sometimes she can be manipulative, behaving like an angel to impress visiting dignitaries. But she doesn't take life very seriously; nobody expects her to.
    Opinion on the Agreement: Tanaila doesn't care about war one way or the other. But she does think the princess's role in the whole matter is very exciting, and hopes her cousin will marry the Prince of Thasah so that she can come along.
    Lawful Good, just not at the same time
    tl;dr History: Clement Motierre was adopted by Grandmaster Knight Arthur Thibaut after his parents died. He studied strategy, medicine, economics, and engineering at the Royal University of Thasah. He received his degree in strategy, and lesser degrees in medicine, economics, and engineering. He then trained to be a knight. He was awarded knighthood after defeating fellow would-be-knights by exploiting the spear's range against the sword. Since he was physically weak and slow (bad qualities for a knight), he soon returned to the University to engineer towers and catapults.
    A year later Grandmaster Thibaut was murdered by Master Knight Busal and High Wizard Reza. Clement tracked them for many months. He accidentally killed two innocents in an inn after misidentifying them. Though he was devastated, he continued to track the two murderers. He found them, but they struck first. By abusing his luck, and knowledge of engineering, Clement managed to kill the High Wizard. And then, by fighting dirty, he killed the Master Knight as well. He was heavily wounded in the battle, but took the Master Knight and High Wizard's heads back to the capital of Thasah.
    He was then declared a Master Knight, and was assigned the roles of knightslayer and magekiller—difficult but dishonorable bounties against dangerous targets outside of the battlefield.
    Character Sheet:
    Name: Kane Meilyr (the just)
    Status/Job: King of Rone
    Sex: Male
    Description: Still retaining the height he had as a young man though not as athletic, Kane still tries to consider himself as the formidable knight and general of his youth. Kane has dark brown hair he keeps short with a few stray gray bits at the sides and in his trimmed beard, his face marked with middle age wrinkles and scars from past fights and jousts. Though still considering himself a strong and active man, Kane's paler bronze skin hints at more time spent at his court than out in the field. Kane's eyes are dark blue.
    Personality: Decades of ruling over the kingdom of Rone has made Kane into a fair and noble man, thus earning the name 'the just' from his sense of righteous and fairness in terms of law and duty to the realm. Though still a keen student and tactician in the ways of war, his age has made him more philosophical and a thinker on the subject. Kane has a strong sense of duty to the realm and to all those under his rule, though this however makes him feel that he isn't as good a parent as he thought he'd be for his daughter and son, whom he tries his best but can't always be there for them.
    History: Kane was a proud and strong knight in his youth, he jousted in tournaments and fought in melees across the kingdom of Rone. Proving his worth and strength among his people of warfare and aggression. Kane's father instilled a great sense of duty to the realm and to uphold their struggle against the Thasahsians and the religion of Kyuktus, which he took in and embraced for the rest of his life. He married his wife before he had become king of Rone and it was a few years before his father passed away and Kane and his wife became monarchs.
    The years flew by from then, Kane watched as the kingdom prospered and reveled in the fear of those who feared their strength and force of arms, Despite the brokered treaty, Roneish nobles have since been caught raiding Jocan territory, and Kane would lie if he said he hadn't taken part in his youth. Kane was always the second parent when it came to his children, spending much more time with their mother than they did with himself, in his later years he tried to change this as time crept by subtly.
    When the queen had been found dead in her chambers at first Kane did not want to accept it, pretending that the women he loved was not gone forever. Then he hid himself away in his chambers, rarely attending court or other such functions for weeks at a time. It was only in the months after he gently re-emerged back into politics and state affairs that he was prompted a proposal by an emissary of Thasah over the proposal of an alliance through marriage. Kane felt that he knew little of such matters and it was too much to consider in his grieving state that he handed the decision over to his daughter, who later accepted the idea of marriage.
    Opinion on the Agreement: Kane has accepted the agreement though he is not optimistic of the endeavor for peace with the old enemies of Rone and worried for his daughter amongst the Kyuktusian fanatics that make up Thasah.
    Name: Alexandar Dietrich
    Status/Job: Retired Soldier, Practitioner of the Ancient Arts and aid to the Queen of Thasah.
    Sex: Male
    Description: Used to be a soldier of the Rone Kingdom, now retired in the Kingdom of Thasah. He is an ‘old’ man, the grey hair of his beard and his head were clear, the complex features quite visible. But he seemed to be in shape, his eyes burning with the energy of a young man. With multiple scars to his face, he has experience written all over him. He bears the signet of the Rone on his left shoulder, tattooed onto his skin, dark grey hair and light green eyes.
    Personality: Very cautious and down to earth being, knowing the horrid truth of fighting and war. He doesn’t talk about himself too much, but reveals his time as a soldier. He doesn’t mind a light-hearted conversation and a good time in the tavern, quite relaxed at times. He appreciates the company of people who are ready to enjoy life.
    Opinion on the Agreement: ''War is inevitable, but we can postpone it until necessary. This war that is coming can be undone for now, we just need a little time and some reasoning.''
    History:
    Alexandar was like every other child when he was with his parents. He was a son of a crop field family, which was hard work and simple pleasures. There was not a moment he didn’t enjoy with his family, including his two younger brothers. They barely argued are always worked together for everything, making the fields very successful just about every year. It was like they would never be separated except by death… But unfortunately, it wasn’t quite what had happened. Coming along to his adulthood, the family had started living a crisis. The crops weren’t good and it meant harsh times to come. The coins were low after a few weeks and the only thing left for the family to reach the bare minimum was to have someone join the army… Father was a little too old for it and the other two younger boys were too young. And so, Alexandar offered himself. Although it was quite saddening, the parents were proud he would offer himself. And so, on the final day, sharing what they could muster up for a feast, he walked off to the capital.
    The first years as a Rone Military Soldier was quite rough, from training to the small battle fought against raiders in neighboring towns, it was a horrid sight. Death every time and loss of new found friends. It did build a tough character, but also kept Alexandar down to earth. The superiors had found him to be quite an interesting man, being physically fit and quite the strong willed man. He would never give up in training, even the hardest tasks. If he had to crawl after an injury to get somewhere, he would get there… And that’s why they decided to hand him over to a Wizard in the capital, looking for apprentices.
    Coming into the building where a few magic users were analyzing scrolls and writing into some books. He started his studies, like any apprentice. Learning basic spells, very basic spells: Creating a light that was as bright as a torch, create a small fire and manipulate small objects at a distance. These were the only spells he could cast, because he could remember the formula for them. The more advanced magic was out of his reach, the mages understood he wasn’t the smartest, but he was determined to prove himself. The mages had discussed, after a few years of study, to send him see an old sage that was looking for a strong willed man, willing to study his forgotten art. And so, he was sent outside of the capital to seek an old man, one he found meditating.
    The training wasn’t like the two others, much more different. It tested his patience, his will to move forward and his determination. To say he failed most at first, but like the man had said; no one could get it the first few times. And so it a few more years of this, Alexandar felt there was no reason to continue if this would give him nothing… Yet the old man said he would greatly benefit from it, maybe unlocking the mysterious powers of his mind. And so, one day, he had discovered his secret (Will not be revealed for the sake of the RP and suspense). Proud of his work, thanking the old man, he went back to his fellow soldiers, trying not to use it unless absolutely necessary.
    He remained years in service to Rone’s military, leaving as a Sergeant, seeing family once in a while. But there came a time where he decided to retire from all of it and move to Thasah to have a quiet life with the fortune he had. And oddly, his ‘soldier’ life was not over. Many times, he had aided Gabriel Dijvan for a few things, although he did prefer ideal, relaxed discussions. He was even asked to guide for magic from the Master Knight Clement in which he did so happily. He resides in the capital, trying to take life easy, even with the events coming forth.
